Lindsey laughed. She reached for Nick's and Aubria's arm and pulled them together for a small group hug. "I love you guys!" She let go of both of them. "Although I agree with Nick no more mushy stuff for me either. Let's go somewhere! It's summer can't we take a trip or something?"

"Got it! Where are James, Ash, and Celeste by the way? I haven't seen them in a while... Lindsey;s head moved to the side in a questioning glance. Aubri had made the call ages ago and they weren't there yet. Even Carter showed up before them, that was saying something.​
 
"I think we both really couldn't express our feelings. Being hold in between the friendship barrier, we really couldn't go further than that." He giggles, "But we just broke it down. " he kisses her again. "We should go inside. "
 
"Yea... I think you and I both just heard that howl... If we don't get in there Bri might come out here and rip both of our heads off... Well my head and your knees..."


Ash giggled softly slipping her hand in to his. For some reason she felt completely peaceful as long as they were touching and though she wouldn't say it out loud, holding his hand like that would make it easier for her to face whatever weird hell was going on indoors. She glance up at him smiling slightly as she headed back indoors. Stepping into the kitchen she raised her voice loud enough to be heard.


"Oi...Bri what's with the Call...?"

I approached James and Ash, who were holding hands, and it didn't phase me one bit. Ash needed to be loved, that girl deserved it, and James may be a bit extreme at times, but that man knew how to be loyal. I talk to James first, looking up at his tall complex.


"James....[shakes head] I love you to death and back. You're so fucking caring and loyal that you don't even ask for anything in return, but I'm here to tell you that I appreciate you, and I love you. It started as us on the swim team in high school, the gym buds, but to sit here and see you as my big....big....big brother, it keeps my faithful. The fact you're so loyal is also your weakness at times. If someone doesn't show you the same loyalty or love you flip, which is understandable, but you can't let it consume you doll. I know about your dad and everything you told me, and I know I promised to never bring it up but whatever it is.....anything that is making you so cold and depressed WE are here....especially me. And you know that. Don't be the ice cube when we're all one flame....and yes I know you loved her, but she'll only see what she wants we all have to LEARN first, never judge. Okay? We're a Pack, we roll together, not apart. I wuv you"

Ash chuckled shaking her head slightly. Leave it to Bri to pick the most dramatic yet still entirely heartwarming way to pull the Pack back together. Though not everything would be the same, and not every opinion was exactly correct it came from a heart filled with good intentions. It was a big part of what really mattered. The intentions that fueled a person's words, that shone out from the heart. Letting go of James' hand Ash glomped Bri, firmly nuzzling the hyperactive girl. Then she proceeded to laugh, a lighter more carefree laugh than had come out of her in a while. She grinned at her best friend widely, reaching up to pluck her in the forehead.


"Your german is getting a little better after all... But you're right... Once a Pack always a Pack... Kein Wolf streift allein..."

"Is there food I'm starving. Lindsey's stomach backed up her comment with a loud growl. Her eyes grew wide and then she burst out laughing. "Point Proven."

"Today wasn't really a fun day, and I think we're all on that. We could go and actually have fun together."

"Oh Oh Oh pick me pick me! I have an idea!" Lindsey started jumping up and down trying to get Aubri's attention.

" What if we camp out? You know like we used to do before? Raid the gas station...drive to a park...put blankets out...talk. It used to be loads of fun. Lindsey smiled remembering the few times they had gone "camping". It had happened when (someone in the pack) was in one of their moods and decided to run away. When the rest of the pack found out they all bought munchies at a gas station and went for a search party. The pack for (Someone) in the park and thus started the tradition of park camp-outs.​
 
"I'm all for it... They have grills in the park... We can light one and make s'mores like we're kids in camp or something... I've stashed enough marshmallows, chocolate, and graham crackers in here to support it..."


Ash bounced slightly, excited for the chance to spend the night out under the stars with her friends. It would be a lot of fun, just chilling outside talking the night away. She ran a hand through her hair , tilting her head to one side.
 
Nick smiled "yea I guess I'd be down for that. I think the rich kid can handle sleeping outside for a night." Nick laughed as he looked around at his group of friends. He was very happy that the pack was back together again.
 

Man.....do I remember Pack camp outs. Star lit nights in the mountains above Hollywood Hills...just us. Any stragglers that cam our way was either too scared or to bashful to mess with our wild selves. That park was special indeed....my first kiss with AJ, or any boy for that matter, my first time with Austin...where Ash and I solidified our sisterhood.....and The Pack didn't know it....but the place I'd go to think, by myself. To just listen to God and the great beyond forces to guide me.


"I'm in, oh man am I in.....the park, yes....wait are we spending the night there?"

"Cool a camp out just like old times" he said smiling as he got up stretching it had been a while since they hadn't been to their favorite park in a while that place had some memories for all of them.

"Umm I don't know...maybe, it's pretty late, might as well just make it a sleepover. We can take the leftovers so we don't have to buy any more food." Lindsey replied on her way to the living room to put on her shoes.​

When she got to a traffic stop, she texted Taisuke to see if he was going to race tonight. In fact, she wanted to see how well her Scion FR-S would fair against his Mitsubishi. However, since she never saw his car, she did not know which model he was driving. If it was an Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution, then she would like to see how his would fair against hers.
 

"Here I was gonna take a dip in the backyard pool hah. Okay, well then...to the park it is!! I need to go pack some things...." I say as I dart up to my room. This was epic, the Pack was back in effect, and what better way to jump this off than to go to the place it all started.....why didn't I think of this the first time?


"I should've thought of this the first time..."

''Hey, Ash, eating some yummy golden marshmallows sounds fun doesn't it?'' He laughs. ''Well, all this was our kind of class, learning and feeling more about us. The trip to the camp will be kind of our reward for all our discussions.''
