Nichole said"thats weird. They didnt call for rain today..." looking up. Then blinked as the water barely dampened her clothes. Nichole was confused. She said"we need to get to my house and get dry." Nichole held his hand and ran through the rain. Soon they made it to her two story house. Nichole picked up the key off her bracelet then unlocked rhe door going inside turning on the lights.

While walking inside Nichole's house, Aaron asked her "Is there anyting for me to wear?..." His clothes were all soaked from sock to shirt. "I don't mind even if all I can wear is a towel. Aslong as it is dry, that is." He jokingly said with a smile

Nichole nodded and blushed walking upstairs and got some of her older brother's old clothes. she came down with a towel and the clothes. Then she showed him to the bathroom. Nichole walked to her room to change.

After gently taking the assortment of clothes and towel, Aaron walked with Nichole to where the bathroom. He walked inside the spacious bathroom and began to take off all his clothes. 'Shoes, then pants, socks, then boxers, and finally my shirt.' Aaron listed to himself the way he always undressed. Now in the buff, he dried himself with the blue towel Nichole gave him. When he clothed himself he followed the same pattern, but reversed. 'Shirt, then boxers, socks, then pants, and finally... no shoes.' He felt a bit sad from failing at his pattern, but quickly cheered himself up with a logical statement "There's no reason to wear shoes inside anyway!" Leaving his wet clothes in the bathtub, Aaron ventured back into the living room.

Nichole smiled as she dried and brushed her hair. She then put her hair in a bun and some of her hair framed her face. She put on her pj pants and a tank top. Then walked down in her slippers and made hot cocoa. Nichole took out some brownies from the the microwave after reheating them.

Aaron followed the smell of food and found Nichole in a sleeveless shirt and pajama pants. "Are you always so relaxed with new friends?" he teased while standing by the entrance. Taking a little time to make an educated guess on the smells, Aaron thought to himself 'Brownies. and.. hot chocolate.'

Nichole blushed darkly and looked away. "N-no i-i just wanted to make you feel more comfortable. " she said placing the cocoa and brownies on the table.

Aaron smiled when she took his joke to heart. Sitting down on the couch, he sincerely apologized "I know you did it for my sake, but I just felt like teasing you. I'm sorry if I made you feel self conscious." Raising his head back up, Aaron smiled warmly to Nichole "Thanks for thinking of me."

Nichole said"i-its ok and your welcome. " blushing. She walked over with the cocoa and brownies sitting down. She lookrd at her pendant and traced the design.

"I wonder..." Aaron thought staring at Nichole's pendant and glancing at his own. Testing if curiosity does kill the cat, he placed his pendant onto her's and watched closely to see if anything would happen.

They flashed and glowed a light shooting up in front of them opening a portal. Nichole yelped as she was sucked over to it. "What the? WAH!!!" getting sucked in with her cocoa and brownie.

Being engulfed by a portal to somewhere else was not high on Aaron's list of what might happen, but it was somewhere near the bottom. A very valuable lesson for him 'Never trust subjective lists.' Noticing that Nichole was in the portal also, he grabbed a hold of her hand. 'We could be separated if we don't stay close.' he thought bringing her into an embrace. Aaron saw the light from the exit of the portal fast approaching and began to turn his back to the light. 'It might hurt my back, but I don't want Nichole to be hurt.'

Nichole eeped and blushed. They landed on the ground and their pendants glowed once more. Nichole hit the ground and groaned sitting up. Their wings and horns were out once more. They were in a forest. Nichole stood up wobbly and fell again dizzy. The portal closed quickly and nichole looked around.

"hmm.." He opened his eyes and saw that Nichole had her horn and wings back. "The wings must have cushioned the fall..." he guessed while standing back up onto his feet. A forest had replaced Nichole's house. "huh.." Aaron let out when he noticed a small trail through the forest. "You wanna see where it leads?" he asked her while motioning to the trail.

Nichole nodded and said"s-sure." She took his hand and walked with him. She looked around enjoying the nature. birds chirped and flew around. There were adorable bunnies. Nichole smelled the scents of flowers as well. It seemed peaceful. Seemed being the key word.

"Shh..." Aaron preemptively hushed Nichole with his index finger and motioned her to get down. Silence was heard throughout the forest, but was abruptly interrupted by a bestial screech that echoed far off. A large fur covered human man around 4 stories tall peaked around a tree that was down the trail they were walking on. Immediately the monster began running at them, destroying trees that lay in his path. Aaron held Nichole's hand tighter and began running in the opposite direction of the creature. "We have to try it.. Our wings. We have to fly." he tried to communicate while jumping over rocks and roots.

Nichole whimpered running as fast as she could cryinh. She was beyond scared. And then she tripped over a root falling. Nichole cried out holding her ankle. Her wings locked up on her back. Nichole tried to get up but fell again. Her eyes widened in fear and she tried to open her wings desperately.

Without thinking, Aaron picked up Nichole at the shoulder and knee then ran to a nearby clearing. He kept his pace at the fastest he could manage and extended his wings fully. His wings flapped spastically while Aaron tried controlling his new appendage. Concentrating all he could on flapping his wings, he slowly made it off the ground. The giant was very close now and he could hear the loud sound of its feet hitting the ground. Now 15 feet above the ground, Aaron spoke through tears to Nichole "You have to use your wings. We might die if you don't.."

Nichole nodded and whimpered. She struggled to open her wings and fell off his shoulder. Nichole got them open and flapped struggling to keep up. She yelped dodging the monster and her horn glowed blasting the monser back. Nichole blinked and looked up at her horn confused.

"Great! Just like that!" Aaron smiled at Nichole with tears still in his eyes. Noticing the strange energy that forced itself out of her glowing horn, he decided to investigate that strange power. Like his wings, Aaron tried focusing on his horn to make it act like Nichole's. A small orb shot out at the giant when he made the collected energy in his horn shoot out. When the orb came into contact with the monster's skin, it acted as a taser and made its limbs spasm. "We have to hurry!" he yelled while grabbing Nichole's hand and quickly flying away from the recovering creature.

Nichole flew faster and tried to keep up. The pressure built from how fast they were going. Nichole yelped as a shock wave shot out behind them and they went faster. "WAHH!!!"she saw w castle coming into view and tried to slow down. Then crashed into a balcony. "unnnn...." Nichole had swirly eyes and said"im ok..." before passing out

Aaron watched his vision move around him and noticed the ache in every muscle in his body. "Yeah, we'll both be fine..." he whispered to Nichole before his vision blackened.

Nichole groaned waking up in a room. She blinked and saw her clothes were different. "Where am I?!" Nichole said panicking. Then winced rubbing a lump on her head. A man ran in and said"are you alright princess?!" She said"princess? "

Waking from an interesting dream, Aaron found himself in a strange room. "huh..." he let out while getting out of the fancy bed. Noticing his foreign clothes, he asked himself "Is this another dream?" Looking at the mostly golden and yellow colors on his new attire, Aaron commented "These clothes are way too yellow for me..."

Nichole blinked and got up. She wobbled some and the guard helped her into some slippers matching her pink gown. It was a pink satin dress with magenta designs. She blinked and was led out of the room. Nichole looked around and was in awe.
