AHHH I’M ON FIRE!!!

Ben’s shout snapped Marion out of his stupor and he runs over to the barrel. He ponders for a bit, the sheet music managed to make itself more complete. How was that possible? Well he’ll think on that after he deals with this dilemma in front of him. At this point conventional disposal won’t harm it but he can probably lock it away until he figures out a more permanent solution. It also would be a wonderful opportunity to study how it managed to creep towards completion. Also what would happen if the song did reach that point? Marion was deeply curious about that, what performance it would be. This song is an aggressive one, one that would be played during times of action. Something to get people blood rushing, Marion doesn’t doubt that it would drive people into a frenzy. Thankfully it doesn’t have the power to do that at this stage of completion. But he doesn’t know if it will take another step on its own.
Marion pulls out his phone and dials a number quickly, as usual of Gerald it only takes one ring before it’s answered. Not waiting for Gerald’s greeting he says, “Gerald, I need you quickly. Bring a 1m x 1m soundproof box and a welding torch, possibly some cable ties as well.”
“Of course, Conductor.” Marion ends the call and thinks of plan to stall the music until Gerald arrives. There isn’t much he can do without effecting the other people in the store. Perhaps he than tie the barrel shut and wait it out? His thoughts of plans were cut short when the music shifts once more.
Another step has been taken.
Marion freezes, at this point the music would start to cause hallucinations of things that would make people angry. It would bring up blood boiling memories and increase aggression. He looks to the others and says in a hurried voice, “I need to leave and get out of earshot. I’m going sing something that you shouldn’t listen to if you value your safety.”
He was going to sing a lullaby, a sweet and calming song. It was one of his earlier completed works and when he performed it to the audience they were sung to sleep. The song was so calming that is stopped their hearts, leaving them in an eternal sleep. In fact it almost put his musicians to sleep. This song even if performing a solo version should counter the aggression of the incomplete piece and calm it long enough for Gerald to get here.
