Fantasy Lost Vampire girl (always open)

Nicolai Rumancek

He was quite taken aback by how well this man had just read him after only knowing him for such a short time "I-" he cut  himself off and shook his head while looking away, pretending to gaze out the window when in reality he was doing it to keep his blush down "I don't know what you're talking about" he said in a quieter tone as he took another sip of the whiskey, slowly getting used to it. He'd had this type of alcohol before however it was always cheap and pretty shitty, the kind you'd only drink if you wanted to get wasted.

// My poor little potato

"Attraction is a curious thing, is it not? It is motivated by so many factors - those evolutionary systems vying for the greatest social or reproductive possibilities, and then your supernatural form, bound by complex power narratives - forcing you to switch between assertiveness and meekness from moment to moment, depending on who you are interacting with - then finally there is you - the psychological you - experiencing these phenomena on some intellectual level... where you have been socially and environmentally informed as to how you 'should' feel, or 'should' want to feel - and how your past has facilitated these urges. It is nothing to be ashamed about. It is like shaming gravity. A pointless affair." He chuckled. "But I am sure, I am not sure what I am talking about as well... (there was a moment of silence, before he nodded to the drink in the wolf's hand) The trick is to not just drink it. Keep it on the back of the tongue - caress it. Care and money and history has gone into crafting something special. Like most precious things, if you treat it wrong it will burn you - if you love it as it is meant to be loved... then there is nothing else like it on earth." He took another sip, and groaned in appreciation - closing his eyes.

(what town have the most people in it (for interaction)?)

(UH, well four people are currently at the Briarwood manor. Two are off making out somewhere, and I think there's three more in a town but I dunno .u.)

She nodded. "I was born in queen victoria's rule." Samantha smiled. "Besides, You were born in 1071? That's amazing! You must know so much!"

He chuckled slightly awkwardly as he listened to him speak, not entirely sure what he was saying. "He's just..." he said as he glanced out the doorway and sighed quietly, the same sigh typically associated with those in love though Nico would never admit to that, too embarrassing and would kill any kind of manliness he may try to have. "I don't know. Also supernatural beings tend to have higher ehm, reproductive needs" he said as correctly as he possibly could, his original plan to irritate him was not going so well. "Would you like some more?" he asked in reference to the whiskey

(well, fritz is 'shopping' there)

Fritz leaves his van, grabs his sword and screws in a green vial of liquid, laughing maniacally. He starts chasing random people.

"Ah, I know little in comparison to the grand scheme of things. At one point I isolated myself from society and remained distant for decades. But I have met many historical figures - some I befriended. Others, not so much. Such as Charles Darwin; fascinating fellow. Or Nietzche - if you know your philosophers. He was mad, dark, and the best conversationalist you might ever invite. Although unlike most think her to be, Marilyn Monroe, was a delight. Very sweet girl
just got led astray. In any case, I ramble, but - I've fought in many wars, seen many things - haven't seen the world, though. It's quite the pain. However, I did visit an African tribe of vampires back in 1830, and it was the most difficult experience I've ever had to endure. The way they deal with the sun - even in the morning, the damn thing is intense. Only way to get around in daylight is in monsoon season. I ruined so many good suits."

She stared at him with awe in her eyes. "That's so astonishing!" She said, making sure to continue breathing, since his comments had practically taken her breath away. "I really wish that I could have had those experiences. I'm sure you know, the 1890's weren't the best for women. I died of suffacation, mainly. My maid, for god knows what reason really wanted me dead, so she tied my corset too tight on purpose. It was a rather complex situation. But I really wish I could have met the most intelligent people, such that you have met." Samantha nodded again.

Lord Briarwood
He gave a sympathetic look, placing his palm upon her shoulder. "Ah, understandable. I've seen such oppression of women - and their clothing throughout the entire time I've been alive. Although to make up for any previous sexist
ideals I had, back in the middle ages, I did support the Suffragette and Suffragist campaigns to gain the vote. I like to believe I've atoned for that. But your maid seemed quite dreadful indeed. Tell me, Samantha, did you have a title by any chance? A surname? We might've met." He laughed, somewhat joking about the situation. Nonetheless, there was that slight inkling -- he knew her from somewhere.

He smiled at the boy. So easy. "No, I am still busy. Why do you not tell me about your interaction with the Monster. You seem to have taken the brunt of the punishment it dished out. Any comments?"

Lord Briarwood
Sylas stopped like he'd been hit with a bag of bricks. If he was human - he would've been breathless, winded at that answer. "Kirkland?" A slow, useless inhale flooded his lungs. "I -- We've -- Do you remember the summer ball? Lord Westershire held the event -- your purse went missing. I -- approached you on the balcony? If you are the right Kirkland. That same night, one of the Smith sisters died."

He nodded "I...I don't even know how to explain it really" he said as he rubbed his face where the remnants of the burn still lingered "It all just happened so fast" he said quietly as he looked over at him, finishing off his glass of whiskey in a rather large swig. Sighing softly as he got lost in thought for a moment

Her eyes widened, and she nodded. "O-oh my god! Yes! Yes I remeber you! That's amazing!" She smiled, before holding out her hand to him, surprised and happy as ever. "I-Its amazing to you again~!"

Lord Briarwood

"You -- You do realise I was planning to kill you, my dear girl? It was all going to plan, and well, you began talking to me. I simply couldn't bring myself to such an atrocity after that." Sylas clasped his palm around hers, almost engulfing the angels dainty hand. "On the other hand, the Smith sisters were despicable women. Amanda might've not deserved to die, but the circle of life and all that I suppose." Briarwood sighed, offering a very guilty, and apologetic gaze.

@Xena

//I believe Lord Briarwoods home is outside of town in/near the forest? I could be wrong, though

(Aye, it's got plenty of space between them and the main towns. Privacy reasons)

( @HumansArentReal @Finnick would they be approached by a guard or something? is that their authority? or detect evil in another way?)

(I don't really know. Currently, we're a little tied up with the Briarwood manor. Others I have no clue about)

She laughed, rolling her yes. "It's fine, really, I understand. It's the circle of life, like you said!" Samantha pulled her hand back, and rubbed her hands together,  thinking about what the doctor had told her. "It's surprising that we met again, though, huh? Guess it's a small world, after all!"
