Lost Princess

Nanami nodded. "One of them might suffice. As long as he could handle running a country and does not abuse women I am good." She said, looking up at him. She suddenly realized that he was a lot taller than she was. She had the urge to stretch to her toes and try and be taller. She hoped she wouldn't get in the way of him and his wife.

Ephraim smiled and nodded. "My soldiers are the best around. They don't just give a prince dirty sellswords. They are by far the most honourable and strong men you will ever meet. We also have a policy, we don't harm innocent woman or children." He said to her confidentially.

Nanami smiled and looked at him. "Thank you, it's nice of you to offer. Now what are we going to do for the time remaining until we leave?" She asked.

Ephraim though a moment, putting his hand on his chin. "Hmmm, well you must be tired from your journey. I think it would be best if we can get you a place to rest." He said to her.

Nanami nodded and looked at him. She was happy she had found a place to sleep and a person to travel with. She had even found someone to be her husband.

Ephraim smiled and motioned her to follow him. "Come a friend of mine is a tavern owner, he'll suit you up with a room real quickly." He said to her as he soon came out of the alley way. "Oh yes, it would be best to do something about your appearance for the time being. Being hooded, like I said before, is highly suspicious."

Nanami smiled and nodded. She looked at him and nodded, following him. She needed to do something, but a hood is something temporary. She walked in silence to the tavern, looking at him. She wondered how long he would stay faithful to his wife.

Ephraim walked into the bar, walking directly infront of Nanami to block her face. He loved this place for several reasons, for one he could go in there without a princely welcome, he could be just an ordinary customer, no one really cared. Although it was a slightly sceptical place, with multiple mercenary's and big tough soldier fellows drinking like there was no tomorrow. However he had a very close friend here aswell, the person who owned it. He knelt down to Nanami and whispered into her ear. "You can trust this guy. He doesn't care much for this war either."

He nodded towards the man operating the tavern and he took notice of Ephraim rather quickly. "Ah Ephi, how goes it today, who's the cutie?" He asked and began kneeling over the counter. "Good day Ron, this um." He said with a paused and whispered "Princess Nanami" into his ear. Ron nodded and handed him a pair of keys without Ephraim even asking. "Thanks, do you have anything we could maybe disguise her with?" Ephraim asked. Ron put his hand on his chin and thought for a moment and smiled, pulling out a kit and a pair of clothes. "In here are hair dyes, make up and these clothes should make her an ordinary looking citizen. "If she needs help with the make up, you know who to ask." Ron said winking.

Nanami smiled. "Thank you." She said, looking at them. She smiled and headed toward her room. She waited for him to open the door, seeing as her arms were full of things.

Ephraim followed her up to her room and opened up the door for her. It was rather small, one bed, a wardrobe and a bathroom. "Well here's where you'll be staying, courtesy of Firode of course. It's a little loud at nights, but I'm sure you'll find a way to sleep through it."

Nanami smiled. "Yeah, I guess I will." She said, walking inside. She set the stuff down on the table and sat on the bed, taking off her cloak. She sighed, letting her hair fall free. "Mulch better." She said, shaking her head.

Ephraim smiled and stretched and let out a yawn. "Alright I'll let you get some rest. I'll meet you infront of castle tomorrow. I hope to see your disguise, I recommend changing your hair style, clothes and hair colour. Our guards are rather sceptical folk."

Nanami nodded. "I will tonight. It will only last till the journey back. And normally my hair is in ponytails but I will swap for a messy ponytail. I think I am going a brown color." She said, looking at him. "Goodnight." She said, looking at him.

Epraim smiled and began to walk towards the door. However before he left, he gave her a quick wave. "Good night, you be careful alright. I don't believe you have the luxury of being very social." He warned her, but yet he had a smile on and he soon left the room and went back to the castle.

Nanami's smile faded as he left. "Will I ever be able to save my country?" She wondered out loud before going in to dying her hair. Looking at thee new brown color and the trim. She sighed and walked to her bed, slipping under the covers to go to sleep.

Ephraim woke up rather early in the morning and made his way to the front of the castle where he would await Nanami.

Nanami woke up and got dressed in the other clothes. She sighed and applied makeup and walked out the door, looking like a changed woman.

Ephraim made his closer to the entrance of the castle. It would probably be best if he could intercept her before the guards would take interest in her. Truth be told he had a odd squad of guards assigned to the castle. Good fighter, just highly lecherous and profane. He quietly sneaked past the guards and awaited nearby the entrance.

Nanami sighed, walking towards the castle. There seemed to be a lestening crowd as she traveled towards her destination. She expected having to knock, but she saw Ephraim by the gate. "Good morning." She said.

Ephraim approached the princess with a smile. "Hey, uh.." He said and quickly leaned in closer to her. "What should I call you? I shouldn't say your name on castles grounds." He whispered into her ear and quickly backed up.

Nanami nodded. "Akira." She said, looking at him. She smiled a bit. "Pleasure to meet you." She said, looking at him.

Ephraim smiled and nodded. "Pleasure to meet you Akira. You may call me Ephraim, or any abbreviation you desire to call me." He said to her and motioned her to follow. "Come with me, my little army would like to meet our new 'spy'." He added.

Nanami nodded, following him in. She smiled a bit, her now brown hair hanging in a messy ponytail. She sighed, hoping she could stop this war. She walked behind him silently though the gates.

(I got to reply to a couple of other roleplays. But I just want you to know that I will be absent starting tomorrow for 1 or so days.)
