Lost Island

Fang Hua giggled and pecked Kenji's cheek, " I'll be fine ", she reassured him, " Besides, this one has such kind and curious eyes ", she said as she returned her attention towards Zhang Pai, who was still as red as a tomato.


As soon as they reached the colossal sized hut, the warriors ushered everyone inside and Lilly stood beside Soul, her eyes glaring daggers at the newcomers. " What should we do to them? ", she asked Soul with a low growl. " I say we treat them the way we were treated ", Chun Hei answered in a low growl while Soul shook his head. " They don't look like killers ", he assured them while Jung Hwa nodded his head in agreement. " They could stay here until they are able to find a way back to their homes ", Jung Hwa suggested, " Ai Min and I have plenty of living space ".


Min Hyuk was seated next to Soul's feet as he glared at the newcomers. " Papa...do they have to stay here? ", he asked with a hmph. Soul nodded, " They're stranded and they do not seem to want to kill us off ". Lilly rolled her eyes, her arms crossed firmly over her chest, " I refuse to let them stay ", she sneered, " Newcomers only bring trouble and death ". Tai placed a hand on her shoulder, " Easy Lilly, I know what you'e going through ", he assured her before turning his attention towards Soul, " I'll let them stay, but for them to gain anyone's trust will be a difficult task ".

Kenji smiled down at Fang Hua. He stood next to her as the other debated about the castaways.


Jessica held her children close to her. The way they spoke about them was alarming. Could something like that really harden people that much? It flabbergasted her. She watched the one that seemed to be in charge. He was handsome, and he also had a child by the looks of it. "What could have happened to their family...." She thought to herself. Bae looked around at the large hut. I mean the thing looked like a tiki mansion.

" They can live with me ", Fang Hua piped up with a smile, " I mean...there's no one else in my home, it's quite lonely ", she confessed. However, Lilly instantly became protective and shook her head. " No, they won't be staying at her hut, I refuse ", she said. Soul sighed deeply and rubbed his temples, " Half will stay with me and the other half may stay with Jung Hwa ", he said, finalizing his command. " Lilly, you will keep watch over them until they are trusted by the island ", he stood up with Min Hyuk, " Now if you excuse me, I have to go pick up Mi Sun and go to the temple ". With that being said, he left his home, followed his son and Tai.


" Wait...as in the Moon Temple and the Sun Temple?! ", Zhang Pai suddenly bolted up to his feet, excitement and curiosity in his eyes, but he was forcefully pushed back down by Chun Hei. " Why do you care? ", she sneered, " Planning on destroying it? ". TingZhe bumped in, " Hey, he was only asking a question ", he told Chun Hei as she glared darkly back at him.

Bae looked around.


"This is a really nice house.." He thought out loud. Chin Ho nodded in agreement. Kenji walked over to Lilly and whispered to her.


"Do you think we can trust them?" He asked.

Quietly scoffing, Lilly harshly replied in a whisper, " I don't trust them at all. Not after Timothy and not after what those last people did to Fang Hua and her family ". With that being said she crossed her arms firmly over her chest. " Jung Hwa, take whoever is going to your hut ", she said while Jung Hwa smiled and nodded. " I'll take...them ", he pointed at Zhang Pai, Lu Chu, Zander, Chin Ho, Hime, and Sunmi. " We'll also switch off, Lilly ", he told her, causing her to nod.


Fang Hua clapped her hands with a smile. " That means that we'll be neighbors, how exciting ", she said with a giggle before clasping hands with Zhang Pai, " You'll be one of my new best friends! ", she proclaimed while Zhang Pai turned bright red in shock.


The island was put in relief, they were allowed to come out of their huts and return to their normal lives. Mika had peeked out of the house with Ai Min, before the women quickly dividing the children in two groups. They each took one group and quickly escorted the children back to their parents.

Jessica piped up.


"Wait!....I-Is there anyway he can stay with me and my children?" She asked, clinging to Zander. Zander sighed and smiled down at Jessica.


"Jess. You haven't been this clingy since you came out Junior year. Chill out. Everything will be fine." He said, prying her off of his arm. He smiled to Peter and Elliot-Rose.


"Come here and give Tio Zander a hug. I'll see you guys later." Elliot-Rose and Peter ran over to Zander and gave him a hug before letting up him go and watching as he left with Jung Hwa and the others. Kenji glared at the boy Fang Hua had become instantly close with as he left.


"What is with that guy?" He mumbled to himself.


Kyung-Mi was walking with Cho back to her hut when Kenna, Kiki, Kyomi, Leo, Levi, and Ching-Lan came running up.


"Have you seen Kenji?!" Kiki asked. Kyung-Mi shook her head.


"No..." She instantly became worried. "Where is he?" She asked.


"I don't know." Kenna said "He was with Lu Xun and the castaways the last time I saw him." Kyung-Mi shook her head.


"No no no no not again...." She whined. Kyomi came up to Kyung-Mi, shushing her.


"Shhhh, Kyung its ok. Im sure he's fine. Kenji is perfectly capable of handling himself ok?" She rubbed Kyung-Mi's back comfortingly. "Leo grab Cho and come with me to Kyung-Mi's hut." Leo nodded and picked up Cho.


"Hey girly." He said with a smile. The four of them then began walking to Kyung-Mi's hut. Levi and Ching-Lan sighed with relief. Kiki and Kenna raised their eyebrows at the two.


"What's with you guys?" Kiki asked.


"We've been following around Kyomi and Leo all day." Levi said. Ching-Lan nodded


"Yeah, I love my sister, but watching her be all mushy with Leo is just annoying." Levi nodded


"Same."

Lilly smirked at Kenji, " Jealous of the fresh meant, Kenji? ", she asked. Fang Hua had looked over at Hyorin with a bright smile on her face, " Omo! You're so pretty! ", she proclaimed before skipping over to Kwnji and hugged him around his torso, " Isn't she pretty? ", she cooed.


Tai picked up Kyung and began making his way to the sun tower. He also kept an eyes out for Mika, just to make sure that she was safe from harm.

Kenji blushed lightly and smiled down at Fang Hua.


"I suppose." He said, hugging her back.

" Are you two dating? ", Shen asked as he bounced up over to Kenji and Fang Hua, " My uncle Zhang Pai likes her ". Fang Hua giggle and released Kenji before squatting down to Shen's level. " No, we aren't dating, little one ", she cooed, " This is one of my friends, Kenji and my name is Fang Hua ". Shen grinned and suddenly hugged Fang Hua, " I'm Shen Lee! And you're gonna be my new auntie! ", he proclaimed as Fang Hua giggled and stood up tall, cradling the boy in her arms. Victor smiled at the sight, thankful that at least she was being nice to his son before he began talking to TingZhe.


Lilly sighed deeply and clapped her hands, " Lets go. I'll take you two your rooms, there are rules in this house and they will be followed whether you like it or not ", she proclaimed as she walked out of the living room and up the wooden stairs. Everyone followed after her, slightly confused and a bit worried about what Lilly would do to them as a punishment if they disobeyed her. Fang Hua handed Shen back to Victor before sighing happily. " Kids are so cute ", she cooed before looking at Kenji with a smile plastered onto her face, " Don't you hope one day to find that one person and start a family with them? ", she asked as she happily sighed.

Kenji smiled and blushed lightly.


"Yeah.....I do...."


Jessica looked around as they climbed the stairs. This hut was absolutely incredible.....how do you do all of this with just wood and leaves?

Fang Hua suddenly looked out the window. " Lets see...almost midday ", she mumbled before nodding her head, " I have to go and tell stories again. Perhaps you should check on Kyung-Mi, Kenji ", she suggested with a worried smile, " She must be worried, you are what family she has left ". With that being said, Fang Hua briefly hugged him and then once she let him go, she walked out of the hut.


" Men will sleep in the rooms on the left of the hut and women in the right ", Lilly said as she pointed to either directions. " You will not disturb Soul unless absolutely necessary nor will you try to approach his children unless they come to you first ", she said, looking at everyone except Bae, " If you see a picture of this woman ", she pointed a well painted portrait of Soul and Luna on the day they got married, " You will not speak of her, do not ask of her, you will act as though none of her portraits exist ".


TingZhe spoke up with curiosity, " Why not? I'm pretty sure that she must be important since it's of her and him ". Lilly snapped at him with a glare radiating off of her pupils, " You should leave the dead alone ", she hissed, that shut TingZhe up at an instant.

Jessica raised her hand.


"Can my son stay with me?" She asked.


Kenji cursed himself, realizing that he should have checked on Kyung-Mi. He whispered to Lilly.


"I have to go." He said before hurrying out of the hut and go Kyung-Mi's.

Although reluctant, Lilly nodded, " Yes. We do not allow a child unless one of their parents is with them. We don't separate out offspring from their parents ", she bitterly growled out before quickly regaining her composure. " Go and find whatever room you want to claim and then meet me back in the living room. If you will be staying here then I might as well show you around the island ", she said before walking through the group and down the stairs.

Jessica sighed and smiled Elliot-Rose and Peter.


"Lets go find a room huh?" She said before guiding her children off to find a room. Bae sighed and went off in the other direction to find himself a room as well.

" Today, I'll tell you the story about a group of magical children, who were able to make the world a better place ", Fang Hua said before beginning the story. The children around her were listening with wide, curious eyes and were excited to hear Fang Hua to tell yet another story. Despite the horror early on in the day, to hear Fang Hua tell another story was relief for the children.

After what happened earlier today, Kyung-Mi insisted on staying with Cho when she went back to school. She sat on the ground witch Cho in her lap. Kenji tiptoed up next to Kyung-Mi. He said down and leaned over and whispered to her.


"I am so I didn't come and find you sooner." he said. Kyung-Mi turned to Kenji and sighed with relief before hugging him.


"Im just glad you're ok." She whispered back. Cho turned to her uncle and mother and shushed them. The two quietly chuckled before being quiet so Cho could pay attention.

" So one day, a child from the Heavens came down to the island, in search of believers who would help him bring the broken world back together ", Fang Hua said while the children were in awe. " The child searched high and low, however, every human that he met ignored him. One day, a little girl by the name of, ", she looked around before her eyes landed on Cho and she smiled brightly, " Cho, approached the child while she was playing in the park and asked him if he wanted to play with her. The child was amazed that a mere child could see him and not the adults. It was then when the child decided to focus on children to bring the world together. He asked Cho to find a group of friends and bring them to the park, where he would tell them a story about the world and the children who live in it... ", as she continued the story, the children practically leaned closer to her, engrossed with the tale, some children even saw on Fang Hua's lap as she spoke.


Sighing, Lilly waited for the newcomers to come down. She wasn't the slightest bit happy that they were here, but she didn't have a choice but to listen to Soul. Timothy flashed through her mind and she winced a little, it pained her to think of the man whom she loved and lost all too quickly, it didn't make it easier that some stupid guy looked like him.


Jung Hwa came up to a large hut and smiled brightly at his guests. " Welcome to my home! ", he proclaimed as he opened the hut, he was greeted by Ai Min, who gave him a quick kiss on the lips before smiling at the newcomers. " Hello, my name is Ai Min. I hope Soul and Tai haven't been too harsh on you two. Please, come in. I've already started come tea. I'll be happy to answer any questions you all have ", she continued. Quietly, Zhang Pai, Lu Chu, Hime, and Sunmi walked into the neat, organized room before seating themselves on the handmade sofas while Ai Miin served them freshly brewed tea in small stone cups. Jung Hwa gestured for Zander and Chin Ho to follow after them.

Cho smiled happily hearing the little girl's name in the story. She nudged her mother.


"Mommy the girl has the same name as me." Kyung-Mi smiled.


"She sure does." Cho giggled as she listened happily.


Bae walked down the steps first and sighed. He was tired, and this girl wasn't the friendliest of people either.


Zander and Chin Ho followed Jung Hwa up the stairs. They were glad they get this family. They were a lot nicer then that Lilly chick.

Fang Hua smiled brightly as she reached the end of the story, " The angel, pleased with the results of the children coming together as one to make the world a better place. Promised to grant one wish to sweet, little Cho. He asked her, " Dear child, what do you wish for? ". Cho had thought for a couple of moments before she finally answered the angel, " I wish for you to by my friend forever ". The angel was surprised to hear such a sweet wish from a young girl. He smiled at her and nodded, for he felt as though she, just like the other children, is special. The young angel returned to the world of heaven, never once forgetting to thank the pure of heart Cho every day of his everlasting life and he hoped to one day be reunited with his life long friend in the future ". The children applauded and began to circle around Fang Hua, pleading for another story while she giggled and showered them with love and attention. She would love to have her own children, but, she didn't even know if she was ready.


Lilly heard someone walk down the steps and she looked at whoever had come down. Her eyes flashed with nostalgia before she shook her head and her eyes returned to their usual blank stare. She twisted the engagement ring that was around her finger before looking back at the painting on the wall of her and Timothy, Lu Xun and Luna, Tai and Solis, Jung Hwa and Ai Min, and Kyung and Mika. Even though it broke her heart to stare at the painting, it also reminded her of the happiest moments of her life and she was fin with enduring the heartache of loss and suffering for just a while longer.


" Now, what is it that you would like to know? ", Ai Min asked while taking a seat in front of everyone while Jung Hwa sat beside her. They had the friendliest smiles on their faces while looking at them, she had always loved the presence of others, even if they are so called ' descendants of the murderers '. She wouldn't be rude or cold unless given a reason.

Cho giggled and walked up to Fang Hua. She smiled up at her.


"Miss. Fang Hua do you think you would ever have children?" She asked curiously. Kyung-Mi giggled as she came up behind Cho.


Bae stood in front of Lilly and pointed to the painting.


"I know about the two in the middle, but who are the others?" He asked curiously.


Zander shrugged.


"Zhang Pai pretty much told us a lot. Is there any other insight you can tell us beside what Zhang Pai told us?"

" Well, I hope that if I do. She's as pretty and sweet little girl just like you ", Fang Hua cooed while tapping Cho's nose in a friendly manner.


Sighing, Lilly answered him, " My fiancee Timothy before he died, that is Lu Xun with his wife Luna, who is also dead, Tai and his wife, Solis who is also deceased ", she gestured to the other participants of the picture, " That is Jung Hwa and Ai Min, both of whom are alive and then finally that is Kyung and Mika. Kyung is deceased while Mika has short term memory loss ".


" Well, the temples are our pride and joy ", Ai Min began to speak, " They often say that the spirit of the guardians, Luna and Solis, reside in their designated towers, watching over our people ". She paused for a little, caught up deep in her own thoughts.

Cho giggled.


"Thank you for the story Miss. Fang Hua." She said with a polite bow before scurrying over to were Kenji was waiting for Cho and Kyung-Mi. Kyung-Mi chuckled and smiled at Fang Hua.


"Thanks you Fang Hua. She really enjoyed that story."


Bae studied Timothy.


"So that's why you called me Timothy when I washed up....." He mumbled not quite so to himself.


Zander nodded. Chin Ho piped up.


"Um, that one chick, she called our friend Bae Timothy. Why?" He asked.

Sheepishly smiling, Fang Hua replied, " Anything just to keep the children happy ". The children running around and playing with one another made the smile on her face grow even larger than before.


Lilly was quiet for a moment, " It doesn't matter now. You're not him, not matter how much I wish he was alive ". With that being said she walked towards the staircase just as everyone else came down the stairs.


A look of nostalgia washed over Ai Min before she replied, " Lilly is her name. She is one of the greatest warriors of her time as was her fiancee, Timothy. Alas, he was murdered during the attack on our village before Lilly. She hasn't been able to move on from him, to make matters worse, she is much colder and emotionless. I apologize on her behalf ".

Kyung-Mi smiled


"You know Fang Hua, there are many men who would love to be your husband. And I know how much you want to start a family."


Bae looked down and sighed. Poor girl. She really must be hurting. He wished he didn't remind her so much of her deceased fiancé.


Chin Ho sighed


"Wow....Poor girl." Zander nodded


"Poor Island." He said.

Blushing, Fang Hua smiled and sheepishly rubbed the back of her neck. " A-ah... I make it that obvious? ", she asked with a defeated tone. A part of her did want to start a family, however, she has so much to take care of and she doesn't want to be a burden to anyone. Then, she went on, " I highly doubt anyone would want to marry me ", she confessed before sighing but still smiled and waved bye before walking off.


" Good, now that you're all down, lets get to the village ", Lilly said once everyone had come down. She easily exited the house and made her way down the dusty roads, occasionally greeting the villages when they noticed her.


Jung Hwa smiled, hoping to ease the tense atmosphere, " Please, is there anything we can get you to drink? I'm afraid we do not have any drinks you might be used to though ", he trailed off while Ai Min stood up. She gently kissed Jung Hwa's head before leaving to go pick up Shin Woo and Min Woo.
