When the explorers of Spain lived, they attacked a lone island, uncharted because it was too tiny to be deemed as worthy. But, they failed to acknowledge that the island held great power and wealth, more than Spain would even be able to handle. The islanders were the descendants of powerful magic users who spoke an ancient, forgotten language and were more intelligent beyond the minds of even the smartest of scientists and explorers.


However, one day a ship anchored on the small island to search for food. What they didn't expect was to see an inhabited island filled with the finest of gold and silk. Moreover, they didn't expect to see two tall temples on either side of the island, one to represent the moon and the other to represent the sun.


It didn't take too long for the explorers to realize what greed they hungered for did what came natural. They set the village afire and began to kill off the innocent islanders who attempted to fight back. They raided the temples and the burnt ruins, they sexually attacked the island's women and killed off the babies.


Two of the victims of sexual harm and murder was two of the chief's daughters, Luna and Solis. the guardians of the sun and the moon temples. In a state of rage, Luna's husband, Soul, gathered warriors together and they attacked the intruders without a single ounce of mercy.


After a bloodshed of a gruesome war, the islanders had managed to kill every single explorer on their island before raiding their ship and took back what was theirs and set free the islanders that had been kidnapped, then set the mass of wood ablaze.


It was then, when the islanders had mourned over the loss of valiant warriors and beloved friends and precious family. The remaining islanders buried the dead and then swore to never trust any newcomers unless with reason. But moreover, they swore that they would ensure that the temples would never be in danger, the last wish from Luna and Solis.


The islanders swore that their island would be lost forever, as long as it meant the safety of the people.

It was just a simple boat ride or at least, it started out that way. TingZhe offered to take his friends out to sea and just relax, however, that wasn't how it was going to play out, not when the weather suddenly changed. But, from the morning, it had been utterly perfect.

Victor and Hime were conversing with Zhang Pai and Lu Chu, the topic being the future for the two singles. Victor was encouraging the two to try and find romance and start families, while Hime kept telling Victor to let them be and they'll start their own families when they are ready.


" But, love ", Victor whined as he wrapped his arms around Hime's waist in a loving manner, " Shen and Sunmi nees playmates and you won't have another baby ". Hime blushed and gave an apologetic smile towards Zhang Pai, who blushed with discomfort and Lu Chu, who didn't seem to care. " Lau and Hyorin will probably have kids soon, so relax and leave Lu Chu and Zhang Pai alone ", she informed him. Zhang Pai glanced over at Lau and Hyorin, who were, of course, cuddling at the back of the boat while Lou was playing a game of tag with Shen and Sunmi. He knew that Lau had some kind of plan on proposing to Hyorin and starting a family with her and he envied him for that. Zhang Pai wanted to find a girl who would love him for him, but he didn't know if that would work out, he's a shy, very shy person.


Lou laughed as he chased Sunmi and Shen around the boat, pretending to be tired and slowing down so that they could have the advantage, if he wanted to, he could have easily captured the two of them and won this never ending game of tag, but he's a nice guy, he wouldn't do that. Besides, with Lau and Hyorin getting overly romantic, he needed some fresh air and fun to get rid of the image of Hyorin and Lau kissing in front of him, it still made him a bit awkward watching his twin brother and one of his best friends be intimate.

On the island, the villagers were walking around and preparing for the morning events. Husbands were on their way to guard the island while wives were either caring for the children or heading to the infirmary where they would heal the islanders. The children, though, excitedly ran their way towards the center of the village where their teacher, Fang Hua, waited for them to tell them stories and answer their questions. Many villagers pitied Fang Hua, for she had lost her entire family, yet she never once broke the beat of her smile, she would always offer help and never worry about herself.


" Today, I am going to tell you the story of how the chief's daughter, Luna, and how the hero of the island, Soul, met and fell in love ", she said once the children were situated and excited to hear the story.


Meanwhile, Soul, Tai, and Jung Hwa were busy training the warriors, especially the newcomers being extra hard on them, even threatening them with their weapons. Lilly watched from the sidelines, kicking out any warrior who wasn't ready for battle or deemed as useless and unfit to be a warrior, no one would question her, she's very scary as one of the few remaining female warriors. Mika, who was told to stay close to Tai at all times, was sitting under the shade of one of the trees, her face buries in one of the ancient scrolls about the ' Moon Temple ' and the ' Sun Temple '. She doesn't remember much, only her name and that Tai had saved her after Kyung was murdered, she remembers Kyung, how could she forget her love? It breaks her heart that he is dead and that he died because of her, other times, however, she forgets everything but will remember it the next day. An odd predicament for the young woman.

Jessica and Zander sat with Elliot-Rose and Peter. Peter was begging his sister to come with him to ask Shen and Sunmi to play.


"Ella please~ I'm bored and I want to play." Elliot-Rose shook her head


"No. I'm terrible at tag." She said, crossing her arms. Peter groaned


"Come on~ I don't want to go by myself."


"I'll go with you." Zander said. Peter shook his head


"No Tio Zander! Your a grown up. its not the same~"


"I'm not going Peter." Elliot-Rose said. Peter pouted before grabbing Elliot-Rose's hand and dragging her over to Shen and Sunmi


"You are playing!" He demanded. He walked up to Shen and smiled. "Hey Shen, can Ella and I play?" Jessica sighed and rolled her eyes


"Poor kid."


"Who Ella or Pete?" Zander asked


"Both of them." She said with a chuckle. "Ella is so shy that she never goes out and plays with other kids, and I know she wants to. And when Peter tries to get her to go play with him she always says no and he hates having fun without her."


Chin Ho and Bae sat towards the back of the boat, chuckling at Lou running after Shen and Sunmi.


"Poor dude." Bae said.


"Why do you say that?" Chin Ho asked


"Because the poor guy's twin is dating his best friend. He's gotta feel weird about it. I know I would feel weird if Jin Ae and you started dating."


"Ew dude don't even suggest that. I've known your sister since she was in dippers." Bae chuckled


"I know that doofus. So have I."

Kiki was being dragged by Cho, as she ran towards the center of the island for story time with Fang Hua.


"Auntie Kiki hurry up! I'm gonna miss story time!" Cho whined. Kiki sighed


"Its hard to run when your dragging me Cho." Kiki quickly picked up Cho and shuffled over and set her down. "Now you run the rest and Auntie Kenna will be back later to pick you up ok?" Cho nodded with a smile. She kissed Kiki's cheek before running over to the large group of children. Kiki sighed with a giggle before walking back towards her's and Kenna's hut.


Kenna bustled around the nursing hut, putting away medicine and bandages. A small child came up behind her and tugged on her shirt. Kenna turned around and smiled at the child. She crouched down his level


"What's the matter Vince?" She asked.


"My tummy hurts." He said, holding his tummy. Kenna frowned


"That's no good. What did you have for breakfast?"


"Pancakes and milk." He said


"How many pancakes?"


"Two." Kenna nodded and stood, holding out her hand. The boy took her hand.


"I'm just gonna have you lay down for a little bit, if you have to go potty go ahead and go you don't have to tell me. After 30 minutes I'll come check on you and if its still hurting we'll go talk to your mommy ok?" The little boy nodded and lied down on the cot that Kenna took him to. Kenna smiled at him before going back to work.


Kenji sighed, looking at his watch.


"I'm late. shit..." He groaned, he was jogging to the training field. He had been helping Kyung-Mi this morning with Cho and he lost track of time. "They're going to have my head for lunch." He groaned as he came close to the training fields.


Leo and Kyomi were looking around the island for a place to build their hut together after they got married. Leo pointed out a place.


"What about there?" Kyomi thought for a moment before shaking her head


"No, there's a huge tree above it, if it rains the water will just drip off the leaves in bigger droplets and onto the house. Besides I like the sun." She said with a smile. Leo chuckled


"Alright, no shady trees." Levi and Ching-Lan stood behind their siblings and sighed in unison. They loved their siblings but did they really have to drag them both out for hut hunting?

Shen nodded with a smile, " Yep! Uncle Lou is a lot of fun to play with! ", he cheered before quietly whispering, " Don't tell him, but I know he's faking...but I'm happy that he's making time to play with us ". He watched as Lou caught Sunmi and lifted her high into the air, the little girl squealing and giggling with happiness while Lou let out joyful laughter at her smiling face.


TingZhe set the boat on auto and joined Victor, Hime, Zhang Pai, and Lu Chu, a mistake since Victor began to pester TingZhe into settling down and trying to start a family, while TingZhe promptly ignored. " For your information ", TingZhe began, " I have a significant other ", he said with a smirk, " Victor is my husband ", he joking laughed. Victor snickered and slung his arm around TingZhe's shoulder, " I see we're still on high school memories when everyone thought that we were a couple, despite me dating Hime ".

Fang Hua told the story, not only using words but also her hands, which caused the children to squeal and laugh with joy. They adore having the bubbly young woman as their teacher and listening to the stories she told, always willing to be there whenever they needed her.


" So, the mighty warrior Soul's talents were noticed by the chief himself, who recruited him to be a personal guard for his family. It was at that moment, when Soul had met the love of his life. The chief's eldest daughter and guardian of the ' Moon Temple ', Luna, and Soul had caught sight of one another, unaware that they would be madly in love in the near future. Day to night, Soul would protect Luna and listen to her stories and beliefs with open ears, for he felt a connection with her, one so strong that he figured out one day, that she's the one for him ", her eyes lit up as she told the tale, her heart swelling with joy, the children intently listened as she continued on with the story.


Ai Min hurried into the nursing hut with an apologetic smile on her face, " Sorry that I'm late, Kenna ", she said, " I was helping an elderly woman with her back ache and I lost track of time ".


Lilly, who caught sight of Kenji, glared, but of course, it wasn't serious, she knew why he was late and accepted the reason. But, she wasn't allowed to feel pity, on her own terms.

Peter smiled


"Ok. So Sunmi is it now right?" He asked, letting go of Elliot-Rose. Elliot-Rose blushed and rubbed her arm shyly. She didn't really want to play but now she was forced to.

Kenna smiled and shrugged


"Its alright Ai Min." She walked over to her and whispered to her "Vince is here again complaining about his stomach. He did look a bit pale to me so I let him lay down for thirty minutes. Its been about three or four since I said that, if he still if feeling gross after the thirty minutes I told him we would go talk to his mom." She informed her before going back to talking in her normal voice. "Other than that I've just been tidying up a bit."


Kenji put on his gear before getting into place to start training.

Lou walked over, shaking his head. " No, I'm still it ", he answered, " Little sunshine here, has legs that are too short to catch up to you older kids ". Then he carefully placed Sunmi down on her feet before counting, " Ten seconds to run! ", he proclaimed as the children began to run.

Ai Min nodded, " Thank you ", she said before checking on Vince and then checking the files on other patients who weren't in the hut at the moment.


" Kenji ", Tai said in his usual monotone, cold voice when he saw Kenji jogging over.

Peter and Elliot-Rose ran around. Peter laughed cheerfully while his sister ran around trying to stay away from the others.

Kenji nodded to Tai.


"Hello Tai." He said.

Suddenly the boat began to rock back and forth, TingZhe dashed to the wheel to try and figure out what was going on but the waves began to go choppy and rough, grey clouds moved in and thunder sounded. Victor, Lau, Lou, and Zhang Pai began to distribute the life jackets in urgency, giving them to the women and children first. Sunmi and Shen ran back over to Hime, who quickly dressed them in the life jackets before placing hers on. Lou grabbed Peter and Elliot-Rose, running them over to Jessica, " Quickly! Put these on you three! ", he shouted as he handed her three life jackets.

Tai continued walking around the warriors, when he saw one trying to cheat their way out of fully working out, he marched over to him and instantly kicked the warrior to the ground, a sickening crack and thud sounding through the training grounds. The warrior struggled to look up, but Tai slammed his foot onto the poor man's back, keeping him in place with a firm glare. " Get out of y sight, garbage and don't bother come back to training ", he hissed as he released his foot and the warrior took off running.

Jessica franticly put the life jackets on Elliot-Rose and Peter. She faltered with the clasps as her hands shook. Zander kneeled down and took the clasps from Jessica.


"Stay calm, for their sake." He whispered to her. Jessica nodded and quickly clasped her jacket while Zander clasped Elliot-Rose's and Peter's. "There." He said, smiling at the twins. "You two stay with your mommy ok. I'll be right back." Zander stood and Jessica gave him a confused look.


"Where are you going?"


"To see if I can help out any." He said before going up to the wheel where TingZhe was. "Is there anyway I can help?" He asked.

Kenji winced, hearing the crack, he didn't dare look over in Tai's direction. There was no way in hell he was going to get in trouble with Tai.

" Make sure everyone has a life jacket, we're starting to inflate the life boats, start getting the women and children ready ", TingZhe ordered. Victor had gone off to get Hime, Shen, and Sunmi ready while Lau was rushing for Hyorin and Lu Chu to get to Hime. The boat continued to violently thrash back and forth, nearly knocking everyone off of their feet, but, they grasped onto something to keep them on ground.

Lilly was also easily kicking warriors out, not even bothering to spare them a second glance once they were gone, she was pissed and it was evident. Every single warrior who wasn't trying reminded her of Timothy's death and how he valiantly fought. The warriors who were being lazy were not worthy to protect the island and the people who lived in it.

Zander nodded before hurrying to make sure everyone had their life jackets. Once that was covered he ran over to Jessica, Elliot-Rose, and Peter.


"Alright, come on, we've got life rafts on the other side of the boat." He said, he picked up Elliot-Rose while Jessica picked up Peter. Zander firmly grasped Jessica's hand and he led the three of them to the other side of the boat. Once there he lower Elliot-Rose down into the raft with Hime, Lu Chu, Shen, and Sunmi. He then took Peter from Jessica and lowered him down. He was about to grab Jessica when she backed up.


"Im not getting in there without you." She said sternly. Zander sighed


"Jess now is not the time to protest."


"Im not getting in without you." She began to shake "I need you...." Zander sighed and hugged Jessica tightly.


"Everything is going to be ok. I'll be back and we'll get through this together." He kissed her head and Jessica held on tightly to Zander before he lifted her up and into the life raft. Reluctantly, Jessica let go and Zander went to go find the other guys.

Kenji sighed and finished his workout before all the other trainees. He stood up and did a couple stretches before going over to Soul.


"Is there anything else I need to do?" He asked.

Lau carefully placed Hyorin into the raft and kissed her before rushing back to help everyone else. After the raft was safely lowered into the water, the boat began to violently shake and break apart. The guys were grabbing the final essentials, the first aid kit and food rations before getting into the next raft, with Zhang Pai getting ready to lower it. " Lets go! Move it people! ", Victor commanded as he ushered the men into the raft.


Soul was about to answer when he heard the cry from a conch shell, signaling that there was a boat. " Alert the village! Get them into their homes! Get the healers ready, warriors into the forest to the southern shores! ", he commanded as the warriors about, listening to his orders. Soul, Jung Hwa, Tai, and Lilly instantly darted off into the forest, moving quickly and quietly towards the shores of the southern part of the island.


Fang Hua, who heard the conch, quickly ushered the children home, some clung onto her and she quickly ran back to her hut, holding them closely to her. Ai Min, who had Min Woo and Shin Woo in her arms, along with Mika, who was put into her care by Tai, ushered the entire group into her house. Fang Hua placed the children safely in the living room before running back out and towards the southern shores, along with some of the other villagers who had training in either defense or healing.

Zander held a couple first aid kits as he climbed into the raft with the others.


Kenji quickly ran into the woods and hid amongst the brush.


Cho looked around confused and upset.


"I want my mommy." She said to Mika, teary eyed.


Kenna ran to the southern boarder with Fang Hua.


"Do you think it will be like the last time?" She asked her.

Zhang Pai and Victor quickly got into the raft once it was lowered and pushed off from the boat, letting the waves of the rough ocean carry them towards the raft where the women and children were. The rain was pouring down harder and harder, the winds were becoming violent. The children were crying, the men were desperately trying to keep the women and children's raft in their sight. TingZhe, being the strongest swimmer dived out of the raft, grasping onto it from one of the wool ropes and dragged it to the raft filled with women and children, he hurriedly tied the rafts together before being pulled back onto the men's raft by Victor, who looked panic stricken.


" There's land! ", Lou shouted as he pointed at a distant island when a colossal wave was coming from behind them. " Hold on tight! ", Victor roared out as the wave came crashing down.


Mika gently picked up Cho and hummed her a lullaby, she didn't know who sang it to her, but it always calmed her down. The children around her were instantly huddled around the calm woman, listening to her gentle tune as she did her best to relax the kids.


Fang Hua's eyes, for once, flashed with fear and concern. " I pray it won't be... ", she whispered before hiding behind the dense bush with the other warriors and healers, watching as the ship capsized and a large wave overtake the two rafts. But, she knew that they weren't dead, she could see that the wave may have crashed into the small boats, but was also bringing them towards the island.

Jessica held Elliot-Rose and Peter closely to her. Zander was watching the waves but he broke his focus to look at Jessica every once in a while. He had to make sure they were ok.


Cho sniffled and clung to Mika. Kyung-Mi burst into the building, panic stricken. She hurried over to Mika and took Cho from her arms.


"Mommy!" Cho exclaimed, clinging to her mother. Kyung-Mi shushed Cho and held her closely. She mouthed a thank you to Mika as she held her child close.


Kenna hid with Fang Hua. She saw her brother in a bush a few feet away. She bit her lip.


"God protect us all...." She prayed to herself.

As the waves crashed and slammed against the rafts, Zhang Pai noticed that they were getting closer to land with each push and shove and he could only hope that they would get closer soon so that the nonstop attack would come to an end. Eventually, they got to land, however, were all beat up and extremely tired from the catastrophe.


Mika smiled back at Kyung-Mi, she didn't remember her, but something about the woman made her feel safe. She looked at Ai Min, who was holding Min Woo and Shin Woo close to her as she gently rocked her twin boys into security. She then turned her attention towards the explosive waves that she could see from her spot by the window.


" There's children ", Fang Hua said with such worry that it made the people around her worry about her. She saw Soul, Jung Hwa, Tai, and Lilly walked over to the boats. She hurriedly followed after them, only to be held back a bit by Lilly, who was glaring darkly at the newcomers. Until her eyes landed on Bae, they softened slightly and disbelief overtook her features. Almost instantly, Lilly knelt down next to Bae and gently placed his head on her lap, " Timothy... ", she quietly whispered as she stared down at him, her fingers gently tracing his facial structure. Soul, Tai, and Jung Hwa were slightly surprised by Lilly acting so gentle towards a castaway, but, looking closer, they realized that Bae bore a resemblance to Lilly's dead lover, Timothy. Soul looked at the other warriors, " Stand them up ", he ordered as the warriors did as they were told. Fang Hua looked at Soul with pleading eyes and he nodded. At an instant, Fang Hua quickly took the children and brought them ashore, checking them for any injuries, her eyes were lit up with concern and worry, just like a natural born mother. Zhang Pai, who noticed this, couldn't help but stare at the young woman as she cared for Shen, Sunmi, Elliot-Rose and Peter. A small smile made it's way onto his lips and his heart began to pound madly in his chest, it only increased when Fang Hua had looked over her shoulder at him and gave him a small smile before turning her attention to the children.

Bae groaned, his eyes fluttered open.


"W-Who.....Who is Timothy?" He asked, hoarsely.


Jessica reached for Elliot-Rose and Peter.


"Wait, what are you doing with my children?" She asked, frightened. Zander held Jessica's hand tightly.


"Shhh, its ok...." He said to her comfortingly. Chin Ho looked around, thoroughly confused with this situation.


Elliot-Rose looked over at her mother.


"Quiero a mi mama...." She whined, in fear she revered back to speaking Spanish instead of English. Peter held Elliot-Rose's hand tightly.


"Ella, English."

Realizing that Bae wasn't Timothy, Lilly instantly stood up and returned to Soul's side, her eyes hardening into an abyss of the extinction of emotions. Soul glared at them, obviously not pleased with the newcomers. " Why are you on our island? ", he asked in a low growl. " Our ship, it capsized ", TingZhe answered, his eyes glued on Chun Hei. The action caused Soul to step in front of his younger sister with a protective aura surrounding him. " We don't like people like you on our island ", he growled out which caused Lu Chu to get defensive. " And what kind of people are we exactly? ", Lu Chu asked with a firm glare. Chun Hei instantly spoke up, " The kind that murders innocents! ", she screeched, Soul held her back. Zhang Pai's eyes widen suddenly. " This is the island... ", he breathed out before speaking and informing the rest of the castaways about the island's history and how the islanders nearly went on the brink of extinction because of people coming onto their island and creating a catastrophe.


Fang Hua smiled gently and pulled a flower out of her pocket, " Do not cry, little one ", she whispered in a gentle, sweet voice, " I'm only making sure that none of you were injured during the crash "

Bae looked around, still confused as Chin Ho helped him up. When Zhang Pai began talking about the island, the others slowly came to an understanding.


"We're not here to hurt any of you." Zander said. Chin Ho nodded


"Yeah. We were out on our friend TingZhe's boat for a nice day with friends when the storm hit and the ship capsized." He added. Jessica stared at Elliot-Rose and Peter. She turned to the other islanders.


"Can I please go to my children?" She pleaded.


Elliot-Rose hid behind Peter. Peter took the flower from Fang Hua.


"Im sorry Miss. Ella's just really scared is all...." He said, hugging his sister close.

The warriors looked at Soul, awaiting for his orders. " Let them to their children ", Soul ordered, " For those who do not have children, take them to my hut ". With that being said, he spun around and marched back to the village with Jung Hwa and Tai following after him.


Lilly felt Chun Hei place a comforting hand on her shoulder before she followed after her older brother, TingZhe watching her every move with hypnotized eyes.


Fang Hua smiled at Peter, " It's fine. Your mom will be here now ", she assured him before standing up straight and walked over to Kenji, standing next to him. " The one Lilly was holding...he looks like Bae ", she whispered to him.

Jessica ran over to Elliot-Rose and Peter. She held the two tightly.


"¿Está usted de dos bien? Cualquier golpes, hematomas, cortes? ¿Estás herido?" (Are you two alright? Any bumps, bruises, cuts? Are you hurt?)


"Estamos bien mami. Estamos bien." (We're fine mommy. We're fine.) Peter said to Jessica, annoyed with her worry.


"Mamá, ¿dónde están tomando tío Zander?" (Mommy, where are they taking uncle Zander?) Elliot-Rose asked.


"No sé niña. No lo sé." (I don't know baby girl. I don't know.) Jessica said. She stood, picking up Elliot-Rose and holding Peter's hand, following after the islanders taking them to Lu Xun's hut.


Kenji raised an eyebrow at Fang Hua.


"Who is Bae?" He asked.

Fang Hua giggled, " That's the boy's name. Bae, isn't it? ", she asked before adding on. " Bae reminds me of Timothy, remember, Lilly's deceased lover ", she said as she smiled up at Kenji. " We don't spend a lot of time together anymore, huh ", she teased before following after the warriors as they headed towards Soul's hut.

Kenji sighed and followed behind Fang Hua and the others.


When Jessica caught up with Zander, he wrapped arm around Jessica's shoulders. He leaned over and whispered to her.


"Are the twins ok?" He asked. Jessica nodded


"They're fine." She said.

Fang Hua walked next to Zhang Pai as he talked about the island and asked her questions which she answered with ease. Something about her made Zhang Pai's heart beat madly in his chest and make it hard for him to breath, she seemed too perfect to even exist, in his eyes at least.


On the other hand, Lilly was forcing herself to not even spare Bae a glance, but the fact that he appeared to look so much like Timothy was making it hard for her. He didn't act like her Timothy, no, far from it. Her Timothy wouldn't have been taken so easily, he would gone down fighting before being taken captive by anyone. Chun Hei, who sensed Lilly's tense, uncomfortable being had turned to look over her shoulder and glare at the newcomers before returning a comforting gaze towards Lilly.


TingZhe was still eyeing Chun Hei. " Isn't she beautiful? ", he quietly whispered to Victor who shrugged his shoulders.
