Fantasy Lost in the Void

Sokezz glanced at the dark knight standing beside her. She quickly averted her eye to the solider. "To be sure you do leave, killing the keepers... Would be the best option." She said putting her hands into her overall pockets. She tried acting as modern as possible, though it was very difficult due to the fact she has spoken with a certain dialect for ages. "I believe, we should move out as soon as possible." She said turning to leave to the room. "I saw two others before you. You should regroup with them. The more people, the best chance you have at defeating the keepers." She muttered as she walked down the hallway.

Kraft Alke: Art Room --> Second Room/Armory


The woman seemed to leave all too quickly for Kraft. After all, he still had so many questions for her to answer. Who were the keepers? What could they do?


And the curiosity on how he had gotten himself into a coma was killing him too. Could he even trust this woman?


Whether he could or could not, he certainly wasn't going to let her out of his sight until he had left this horrid place. The people in the room were surely important - he wouldn't forget about them. But, whereas they fought among each other, this woman acted as if she were some type of tour guide. Kraft wiped his dust-covered clothes, stood up, fixed his hair, and sprinted after her.

Alex got up off the floor "what happened, i remember being in the armory then nothing"

Jacob, Snow Elf


He was still sitting down when the women turned to leave the room into the hallway. He hadn't realized how exhausted he was. In a more stable state of mind, now, he listened to her words carefully.


"Then that must mean I'm dead..." He quietly whispered under his breath. He had a million questions, about his old home and his new prison, and didn't think he could find them here. He slowly got to his feet and turned to the dragon rider. Without rage clouding his thoughts, he noticed that the girl looked odd... foreign, even. The other people in the room were in different dress, all alien to Jacob. Even the dragon did not have the same horns or wings as the dragons from the lava pits of the south.


"Where are you from, girl?" He asked Helga, without stepping closer. He didn't want them to assume another attack was coming.

Helga turned her attention towards elf. She was hesitant to reply, especially since he had been so aggressive before, but she answered anyway, "Vallen." She bluntly stated. "But it's becoming apparent that all of us are from completely different worlds." She got off of Briton, "My world is a savage land of wilderness and heat. Dragons and humans live together pretty peacefully as you can probably tell by my closeness with Briton. Elves died out years ago from where I come from."


Briton snorted soot and amplified his voice in the elf's mind so that he could communicate with him, Where are you from elfling?





( @blood wolf You and @las0r0o7 's characters WERE in the armory. But then a keeper came to visit the characters you left behind in the other room. Two keepers actually. And now, the one keeper is leading those who have awakened out of the room).

Jacob was shocked by her news. He was even more shocked when a voice from nowhere rang out in his head.


"Who said that?" Jacob said, quickly turning to face the rest of the room.

Luke looked around he was still in the armory but everything seemed to be to quiet

Sokezz sighed and gestured them to follow. "We should hurry. Night does come in this dark place, and we do not want to be vulnerable during that time." She said outing her hands into her pockets, and waited for them to follow.

alex turned to a voice "huh?"

It was I. Briton said again, he gave out a hiss to grasp the elf's attention. I take it that the beasts which appear like me from your world, do not know how to speak?

Jacob was shocked. He had never known dragons to be able to communicate. He hesitated before replying, as not to offend the beast.


"No... in my world, dragons are savage and ferocious. The fire elves of the south summon them from pits of lava and use them as war machines..." He paused, a solemn look on his face. "They destroyed my entire kingdom. Every man, woman, child, and structure burnt or melted to nothing. It was horrible to watch. There was nothing I could do. I'm almost positive I'm dead now, drowned in the great flood of melted ice and snow. I'm not sure what comes after this... Void , but it may be my only chance to avenge my people." The woman in suspenders, who clearly knew better than anyone what was going on, moved from the doorway and headed down the hallway. She cautioned they follow.


"Before we get lost in this hell together, I offer a truce, in light of our... misunderstanding ." He extended his hand out to Helga.

Helga nodded in reply and returned the gesture, "Aye, there was once a time when my race was at war with the dragons in my world. It ended a long time ago when a new threat arose and we were forced to work together. Briton and I are proof that things are better."

"Well, now that's settled," He turned to the woman standing in the door way. "You seem to have a more concrete understanding of this Void than any of us. Lead on." Jacob waited for the woman to take the lead.

Sokezz nodded and turned to leave. She opened the door to the outside and peered out to make sure there were no enemies near. She took a small step out onto the purple-ish ground and put her hands into her pockets. "Follow me. I heard there were two more arrivals. We have to find them before they get any farther into the void." She mumbled.

Gin turned around to catch a glimpse of the girl darting out of the room, he watched as she went to the group of others, he wondered what she would want with those few still back there, he was too curious not to go back and look if not just go take a peek inside. "You can stay here if you want to, I'm going to go head back for a second, you can take your pick of anything you want in here, just not that giant sword over there, its mine, I call it." He pointed out a zweihander off in the corner still a little dusty. He turned around and went off to see what all was going on, he switched over to his true form for just a bit only long enough for him to get there and still remain awake, hopefully no one else saw what he looked like, especially Sokezz. He changed back to his human form before anyone could see him and he climbed back up in the room and looked around, to see Sokezz and his first though 'she seems kinda familiar, but damn does she look good, but i feel like i know her some how, oh well maybe i can remember later' he decided to let everyone else know he was here by giving a bit of a cough "Well, looks like everyone is awake finally, well now we can get a move on and keep going further until we can get out of here." He hadn't heard the news of this being the afterlife, even if he had he wouldn't have changed what he said, even if no one has ever gotten out of here before, there is a first for everything, and also a last, he was pretty sure not everyone was going to make it out alive.

Sokezz looked at the two and smiled. "Good. We're all together now... You'll have to work together to defeat the guardians and escape this place. Follow me, and stay close. Do not wander off either... Dangerous things lurk here." She mumbled as she began to walk again, only out into the wilderness of the void.

"and who's she?" alex said following sokezz then popped off to her "ya know i'm part demon right?"

"No matter who and what your are." She replied to the demon boy, Alex. "Everyone here is a different species and race. No need for hatred, only need is escape." she said as her eyes flickered a yellow. "Just keep following... We'll be at the first guardian's castle soon."

alex stopped in shock then walked up to sokezz and said "i see, i'm sorry for being rude, my name is alex, alex stormblood, i'm a blood wolf...may i ask your name?" he wore a gentle smile

Sokezz blinked at Alex and sighed. "You may call me Sokezz." She said as she kicked dirt as she walked. The castle in the distance seemed to get bigger with every stride.

Jacob had been quietly following this "Sokezz" in silence while she handled the questions of a new boy claiming to be a demon.


"This place vexes me more and more with each step." He thought. "So, Miss... Sokezz , is it? How is it that you know so much about this new prison of ours?" Jacob still had many questions, and perhaps their troupe leader might have some answers.
