Fantasy Lost in the Void

"Why are we here? Why would anyone gather us up like this and leave us alone?", he said looking uncomfortably at the glowing ruby, whatever they drugged us with must still be in my system. Also why does he have a sword, is he some sort of over zealous commander?

"I have no idea where we're at, your guess is as good as mine" he stepped outside and nearly fell over "oh yea, heads up, there's a couple foot drop right outside of the door." He looked around bored waiting on the others.

" alright, either way lets get out, now please move gin" alex said

"Whoa, you guys are just going to leave these people here?", he took a look back at the sleeping occupants of the room, "Shouldn't we at least wake them up or something?"

He stepped out of the way and called back to him "I'm going to put it as plainly as possible, I'm getting out of here with or without you, and we both know that self preservation is a natural instinct, you can't blame me." He looked back to Alex. "So there is a couple ways we can get there, the first is by walking obviously."

"no i'm just looking around for more weapons"

Alek pulled up a chair and sat in front of the doorway, "Fine, I'll wait here, I'll catch up when they wake up". Alek knew all about how self preservation can often lead to two other men taking your place. But all the same he would not stop them.

"Suit yourself." He started walking off with Alex "So, your looking for weapons, your best start would be where the building is over there." He pointed back to the blue light "I don't know about you but that's where I'm heading."

"alright" alex said then the ruby on his sword glowed exponentially brighter, to the point where it would almost blind a normal person, and alex was mumbling a little making the light dull again

"So you obviously remember the first option of walking there, but, there is an alternative to getting there." He was obviously implying something but he wasn't too obvious about it

"well we could fly" alex said bluntly

 

[Roth Sven Alumni]

"Yea, fly on what, I don't quite see a bird around here." He laughed a bit

alex smirked then changed into his demon form "well?"

 

[Roth Sven Alumni]

"I believe I will pass on being carried, I can probably keep up with you, if not, pass you." He slowly walked forward a bit giving himself some distance between him and the room before he changed into his full Behemoth form, towering over everything around him "lets get going shall we."

alex smirked then took off with a thunderous boom"this is the most fun i had in ages!" he called out

While he stood at his ten stories tall he watched at the little demon took off, he waited a second before he took of on a jog and then into a full Sprint catching up to him pretty quickly "Your not the only one who's fast, at least while I'm like this, but this is as fast as I can go."

"really, i can go faster" alex said then with another boom he was almost out of sight

Helga's eyes flickered as she came to. She groaned and held her head which was pounding from an injury she had received before blacking out. Her first coherent thoughts were of Briton and if he was okay. Last she remembered he was brawling with a nasty red dragon while she was fighting the rider in hand-to-hand combat. She bolted upright, her eyes darting around as she searched for Briton. She was about to sit up, but her hand felt something warm and scaly next to her. She let out a sigh of relief. Even though it was dark and she couldn't see well, she instantly knew it was Briton. "Where in the devil's name are we?" She muttered to herself as she nudged Briton awake. His slit-eyes opened halfway and blinked. He let out a hum as he yawned.


Where on Vallen are we? He asked, casting his voice in Helga's mind. "I have no idea." She replied out loud.


He stood up, but only halfway since the room stopped him. Last I remember, I was sinking my teeth in that fire drake's neck. How on earth did we end up in this cramped room? Helga was silent. They had seen weird things before. Spirits, lich lords and all the manner dark magic. But never had she seen anything like this. Perhaps we died in battle. Helga said in Briton's mind, I mean, that rider did hit me on the head with his club... In fact, that's all I remember.


Briton snorted smoke in reply. Helga stood up and held out her hand, "Let's make it a little brighter in here, shall we?" Her eyes glowed as she summoned her magicks. A fire flickered between her fingers and she cast it across the room. There were people on the floor in the same state she was before. "What the--" she said as she backed away from one that was right next to her feet.

"Well I'll be damned, he's pretty quick." He couldn't go any faster, after all he was massive and was already moving fast for his size "Guess I'll see him when I get there."

alex slowed down and came up to gins side "need some help?" he asked

"I'm alright, were almost there anyways." He looked up ahead at the small building there was and slowed his run to a walk and eventually got there.

alex decided to ride gin "well your crazy if you think i'm leaving a friend behind, it takes alot to earn my respect and trust, and you my massive friend have done just that"

He laughed at him "Well I can say we will definitely get along just fine, plus your not heavy at all, I'm used to carrying several hundred tons at a time while like this, so with you riding its not bad at all." He laughed and sat down and used his tail to let Alex slide down to the front of the door "tell me what's in there and we can relax for a bit."

"kay" alex slide down "ouch, ok two thing one never let me do that again two never let me do that again" he said the walked in rubbing his but in pain

He laughed a bit "I can promise the first one but I'm not sure about the second." He waited a bit swinging his tail back and forth waiting for some enemies to show up
