He's lost blood, but as long as the muscle/bone damage is minimal than he should be back on his feet relatively quickly once he has time to repopulate those blood cells.

Not long. Bullet wounds if treated properly can be a 1-2 day bed ridden process. For jay that would shrink to about 2-3 hours. but he would be conscious minutes after the procedure. Back to 100% in like 6 days.
