Carmen smiled and kissed his head helping him get changed into his comfy pjs. “No baby we got spaghetti for dinner tonight.” She murmured and cuddled her little boy close, snuggling in his bed with him, wanting to get him down for a nap, laying with him for a while until he finally was out and she got up to head downstairs, wrapping her arms around pedro from behind, kissing his shoulder. “He’s down for a nap.... mmm, hows my hubby doing? Aside from thinking about putting the kids up for adoption.” She giggled and went to go make herself some tea.

Richard smiled and nodded at her “Alright. Ill go wait in the living room.” He murmured, leaving her to it and lingering in there for just a moment then went to sit on her couch and played on his phone some while he waited.

Pedro sighed heavily holding her close to him "I'm alright, worried about Lily. She has never done something like this before." he said kissing her cheek gently as he looked at Lily through the kitchen window while she practiced her soccer. He kissed her cheek gently again before he pulled away and went to make himself something to drink as well

Max came out not too long after smiling some as she watched him "Ready to go?" she asked smoothing out her dress making sure it looked perfect. She was never one to impress but for some reason she wanted to impress Richard.

She smiled at him. “Maybe not around you but she’s done it tons while you’ve been at work.” She pointed out. “But usually when you get hole it’s then immediately happy faces cause daddy’s home.” She murmured leaning into him. “Why don’t we take them down to the adventure park tomorrow? It’s quiet there on a Sunday most people are at church round here.” She pointed out and kissed his cheek.

Richard smiled and stood up nodding “Yeah, you look nice.” He mused quietly, heading down to his car with her, driving them to the Starbucks happily. “So tell me, what’s been going on with you since I left.” He said

Pedro sighed some but nodded some "Yeah that sounds good, we need to figure out how to correct that. We can't let her keep this out." he mumbled swaying with her some as he wrapped his arms around her.

Max smiled some and sat in his car glancing over at him "Oh um...well I left and found a love, thought we were perfect for one another. Got married, and stayed that way for a year or two. It um..fell apart and moved back here went to college and got my job. Thats been about it to be honest, nothing too exciting I guess." she said giving a small laugh before biting her lip some when she thought about her ex husband

“She’s 8 honey, and she doesn’t act out daily, I’m not worried.” She assured him leaning back into him some. “Mmmm, you think we could have one more?” She asked him softly watching her playing with Pearl and smiled some

Richard glanced over at her and nodded, listening intently. “Oh yeah? Nothing interesting at all? I can’t believe you went and didn’t do college right away... you always got so mad at me for not wanting to go to college.” He chucked.

Pedro smiled some and nodded a bit "Mmmm I'm sure we could." he said happily kissing her gently "When would you want to try again?" he asked her pushing some hair from her face smiling again "I love you beautiful."

Max smiled and giggled a bit "I wanted to, but I decided to go on a trip to explore before doing so. I met a man, we fell in love. I was very much blinded by this an d um...kind of gave up on my dreams at the time. I thought all I wanted was to be a stay at home wife with him, as things would have it, things didn't actually pan out that way." she said quietly

Carmen smiled and shrugged. “Once you’re fully settled into your new job.... make sure we have the money for another.” She murmured. “We always said five kids but I guess a possible three works good as well.” She murmured happily.

richard nodded and sighed a little. “Well I’m sorry it didn’t work out for you.” He told her sincerely as he parked and got out to go inside the Starbucks, eager to get his morning coffe down him

Pedro chuckled softly but nodded smiling some "Mmm maybe we'll have twins this go around." he said happily as he thought about expanding their family again "I'm hoping this new position gets a pay raise, a decent one." he said biting his lip "Maybe we could look back into the surgery."

Max shrugged softly "Its alright, I've grown from it and I'm truly happy now so thats what matters." she said going into the starbucks with him and ordering her coffee as well as a tea. She smiled some sitting down with him "So enough about me, tell me about whats been going on with you?" she asked leaning over the table a bit

Carmen smiled tiredly at him and sighed a little. “Maybe... I don’t know if that’s something I’m ready to have her go through.” She mumbled frowning some while they still watched her a little. “I love you. Have I told you that today? I don’t think so... but I love you.” She murmured to him just worn out at the moment but content.

Richard smiled watching her some. “I didn’t have anything to do after school and we went back to Scotland and it was miserable cause it was winter so when I came out here to see my brother I signed up for the Air Force. I was desperate enough I guess but the rest is history. I’m doing well on the base. I work in training now, I was pulled from active duty after a major incident and now enjoy the less stressful side.” He told her. “So I was in Virginia but now I’m here for a year at least.“

Max nodded some and listened intently to him "Oh wow, well I'm glad that you're here alive well and kicking." she said happily to him and gave a smile "How has Scotland been? I remember you used to tell me about it all the time." she said giving a small laugh. She was always so facinated in learning about his home country and just how much pride he had in being Scottish made her feel some kind of way that she couldn't fully describe.

Pedro gave a small sigh "Its a thought at least." he said softly before he kissed her temple and swayed with her "I love you too beautiful, more than anyone or anything in this world." he said softly stroking her cheek gently "God how did I get so lucky to have you huh?" he asked giving her a small smirk

She smiled and shook her head some. “Mmm I don’t know. Maybe you hypnotised me or something?” She giggled and kissed his cheek tiredly, moving away from him to get food on then headed out to go talk to Lily.

he smiled some watching her. “Cold. Wet. Grey.Everything it’s always been.” He chuckled. “Lizzie is apparently demanding that next time me and my brother go she wants to go with us. Nina refuses. Hates the weather there.” He smiled.

Pedro laughed softly at her and kwpt the smile on his face ,"Well whatever it was I'm glad it stuck." He said happily before he let her go off to talk with their daughter.

Max gave a laugh and nodded some before taking a sip of her drink "You think she would like it there?" She asked watching as he nodded "She is such a sweet little girl, she always wants to help everyone. Sometimes I have to get onto her to do her work instead though." She said giving another small laugh

He chuckled some. “Sounds like her mother.” He mumbled but with max knowing Nina she would know that it didn’t sound like Nina one bit. “I think she would love it up in the highlands. She’s a wild little free spirit.” He chuckled quietly.

She chatted with her for a while before taking her inside and getting her to lay the table just going to sit down and shut her eyes for a few minutes, sighing a little when Pedro came and shook her awake “Did I fall asleep?” She mumbled frowning

Max laughed lightly shaking her head some "Sounds more like her father or uncle." She said smiling sweetly at him "She did a paper on you once, it was so sweet." She said giggling at how he blushed lightly

Pedro finished up dinner and chuckled lightly as he found Carmen sleeping on the couch. He nudged her lightly and nodded some "Yeah babe come on dinner is ready." He murmured happily to her

He smiled and shook his head. “She’s just like her mother. Nina isn’t her mother.” He blurted our but he just couldn’t keep it quiet around her. Not around max. “Jake isn’t her father either.” He mumbled starting to ramble. “She’s mine.” He told her quickly.

carmen nodded and made him help her up, following him to the kitchen and sat down yawning some, kissing javis head while she sat next to him so she could help him if he needed it. “sk we decided that we are gonna take you guys to the adventure playground tomorrow and if you’re really really good then we’ll go out for lunch as well tomorrow.” She told them both, glancing at her husband smiling a little. He looked tired as well now she was really looking at him but hopefully if they both got enough sleep they’d have the energy for the kids later on.

Max listened to him and went wide eyed nearly choking on her drink when he said that Lizzie was his "Wait hold on....what?!" She asked in complete shock. She was now very interested into hearing why he wouldn't be raising his own daughter.

Pedro gave her a tired smile as the kids cheered with joy at the annoucement of going to the park. They tired him out, and sometimes got on his nerves when they wouldn't listen, but he wouldn't trade his life right now for the world. They made his the happiest man on earth.

He frowned and swallowed some. “She doesn’t know.... I was seeing this girl and she got pregnant and after she had the baby I was ready for us to make the best of things and be a family... I woke up one morning when she had just turned three months old to a great note to say she was leaving us.” He muttered watching her carefully to gauge her reaction. “Obviously being a single parent in the military isn’t ideal but the first time I got sent out on a tour Jake offered to have her... I came back broken and barely able to look after myself let alone a baby girl... so it was decided that Jake and Nina would raise her as theirs and I am uncle Richard.” He mumbled

carmen smiled getting them set up with their last bit of tv after dinner while they did the dishes and she leaned into her husband a little. “hmm, if you put the kids to bed tonight maybe I’ll have a little something for you in our bed.” She murmured to him smiling.

Pedro did the dishes with her and smirked some "Oh don't tease beautiful." He said bumping his hip against hers winking at her some "I love you babe." He said kissing her temple some

Max took a deep breath as she listened to him and let a tear fall placing her hand ontop of his "I'm so sorry she left you....do you ever plan on telling her?" She asked quietly wiping her eyes as she watched him carefully.

He shrugged. “It’s not totally up to me.” He mumbled with a shrug. “I would maybe like her to know but I don’t know if Nina would ever allow it.” He pointed out

carmen smiled some and bumped him back. “Put then to bed for me and you’ll find out if I’m teasing or not.” She winked at him.

Max frowned softly as she watched him "You do have some say...she is your daughter too and you didn't leave her life, but thats all I have to say on that matter and I won't pry anymore." she said to him before she took a sip of her drink still keeping her hand on his "My husband left me because we couldn't have a baby....swore up and down it was my fault...come to find out years later he shot blanks....but I kinda gave up on the idea after it all." she said quietly to him

Pedro chuckled some and went to get the kids "Bedtime!!" he said happily before he scooped them both up and took them to their rooms getting them tucked in.

Carmen smiled rolling her eyes some and headed up there to get herself ready, making sure the dog went to Lily’s room for the night instead of theirs and got into his favorite lingerie set, waiting under her silk robe on top of the covers.

he frowned some. “Well he doesn’t exactly sound like that kinda guy you’d want a family with anyway.” He muttered giving her hand a squeeze. He wasn’t looking for anything seriousbut at the same time he wanted her as more than just a friend so he was feeling torn over it all

Max gave a small nod and shrugged softly "Yeah he wasn't, and I dodged a bullet." she said softly watching him some and biting her lip hard "Do um...do you want to get out of here?" she asked moving her eyebrows some towards the door. She wasn't really looking for a relationship, she didn't think it was time for one but maybe her and Richard could have a bit of fun.

Pedro got up to their room and groaned running a hand over his face as he saw her on their bed "Fuck babe." he muttered before he started to strip down and climb onto the bed with her running his hands up her body letting his lips kiss up her legs before he got down to business with her.

He frowned a bit at the analogy before nodding to her and stood up, walking out with her and back to his car.

carmen pulled him in close to her once they were done and sighed happily, burying her face into his shoulder. “Mmm, I love you.” She murmured tiredly. “We better put clothes on though. In case they come in tonight.” She giggled and got up to go get dressed into pjs before snuggling in close to him again.

Max didn't know the extent of his mental stability towards the military and the toll it took on him so the analogy complete flew over her head. She smiled softly and walked to the car with him getting in the passenger's side holding his hand absent mindedly while he drove

Pedro chuckled some and nuzzled her neck a bit "Yeah I guess we should huh?" He murmured kissing her cheek gently before he got up to get into his night clothes

She smiled pukng him back down to her and holding onto him for another minute before letting him get up. “How much flying will you get to do?” She asked him quietly and traced patterns on his chest gently and turned their tv on quietly not in the least bit tired yet

he smiled and watched her a little before he parked at hers and followed her inside, going to throw his cup away and came back to her, watching her some, leaning down and without even thinking he pressed his lips to hers gently.
