I have a question. Since he is more focused on taijutsu and martial arts techniques, would Brock have access to the eight gates?

Eventually yes he could but obviously not right out the gate.

I'm the total opposite of a power play writer lol, I love starting off with a totally nerfed character and working my way up/learning how to play to the character's strengths.

Also, now I'm curious about the dynamics of these teams in combat. I guess we won't know for sure til we write a few fights, but it'd be interesting if we have some balanced and complementary teams like InoShikaCho, or teams that are often at odds/getting in each other's way like original team 7 lol.

I kind of made my character as the close range tank with some interesting supplementary abilities that people wouldn't expect. I'm interested to see what roles your character's play.

We can literally mix and match a team upon on certain missions. Like say a daiyamo is travelling to another ninja country and he has the choice to take 3 genin of his choosing to protect him no the way. Kinda like that. Also, a mission like that could easily be an A-rank mission. Y'know with them literally having to defend a political figure from any assassination attempts

Ichigo is meant more for long to mid-range attacks and support I kind of planned for her to be more of a supportive role than the in your face kind of shinobi.

I think it would be cool to see a Might Guy/Rock Lee version of a kunoichi. I think it would be kind of funny if she was nice and then could suddenly slam your head through a wall

I'm predicting Yumei will have a focus on leading and orienting enemies into positions that are easy for her teammates to take advantage of. Probably also some genjutsu mixed in there later on. Sasuke v Deidara is one of my favorite fights, and I'd love to channel some of that in this character lol.

I mean she does have attacking moves obviously but we need support ninja too.
