The Sign Up sheet for Storytellers can be found HERE. I am currently only accepting three. New Tabs will be created for the IC Threads as needed (only one per storyteller). Those Tabs will be Casual or Detailed as determined by the Storyteller.


If Character crosses over from one IC thread to another, the RPer must be approved and posting must conform to the new thread. In general, this means most characters need to meet approval of all Storytellers.

Main IC Thread


Mission 001 Synopsis: Search and Recovery


A Grav Vehicle from Trident/RMBK has been shot down in the wilderness. On board may be some of the secrets of RMBKs advanced science, including answers to the mysteries of the DRGN Combat Suit. The team will be assigned to the search... but the Imperium is also hunting for the downed vehicle, with all the forces at its disposal.


The search will take the team deep into the wilderness, through the ruins of a bombed-out Subcon, and into deadly combat with the most powerful Imperial unit they have ever faced: the top-secret Imperial Robotics Section, a covert unit which uses illegal technology to do the bidding of the Imperium.


Trident/RMBK will test the skills of the entire Operation Team, from the Swords in their Living Steel to the members of the Alpha Teams. Those who pass the test will wield the full power of the DRGN Combat Suit, and will be ready to take the next step in the quest for RMBKs lost technology.

Pretty impressive constitution and plot structure.


After reading and rereading to myself for over an hour I've come to understand this script a whole lot better - to be honest I wanted to skim everything.


I would be willing to partake in this. Trying a recreate civilization with the few human groups that we've got, kicking alien ass, battling in a dystopian landscape on an unknown world as OP future exo-warriors that have reawakened from cryo. Sounds exciting enough.

Yeah ... now we need another dozen or so, plus another 1-2 story tellers ... The bare minimum is 3-4 members for the main thread. These really need to be swords. I love the descriptions of the Swords. The neat thing is that it is a psychological status. I won't want people changing them. For example I don't want white, Gold, or Silver to suddenly try to write themselves into a Black status just because they want their character to suffer. Big No No. If anything they will be resilient, an example to others.


 
The idea of this RP is a multi thread drama - like those SyFy shows ... Battlestar Galactica, Babylon 5, etc, etc. And that is the aim of the characters.


While the Swords are supposed to be shining examples of humanity, even they should be human. Only the Silver, White and Gold should be damned near perfect - at least to outside perception. (Never let them see you bleed or cry?)


The Dragoncrests may eventually make a showing. Though defeated, some have survived. They are essentially ... dragons. Well, alien space dragons. I patterned them off EE Doc Smith's Velantians from the Lensman series. They are more of a long sinewy dragon, as opposed to the fat fire breathers of fantasy novels.

I am really sure I couldn't spend the appropiate time to contribute and I surely wouldn't want to "waste" a Sword slot with insufficent RPing.
