Lil' Bit Country- Actual RP!

Brian was out cold. Visions of wild things ran through his head as he was in his catatonic state. Due to the drunk driver he had been hit by, he had been scraped up real bad. His leg was snapped while his vehicle was tumbling. It would heal, thankfully. He would be on crutches for a while. The doctors were worried at first due to breathing irregularities that his lungs had been punctured. He had some gnashes and stabs on him due to hitting a few small trees. A stick ended up inside of him, which furthered the worry his lung had been punctured.

All in all he was a lucky bastard. While he'd be out for a while, he wasn't going to die or have many permanentinjuries. He'd walk with a limp for a while. He wouldn't be able to do much on the farm for a while. Winter was around the corner however, so the farm would be shutting down for a good bit anyways. Couldn't harvest or grow anything in the winter time. One way of looking at it, the crash couldn't have happened in a better way nor at a better time.

((Okay, i'm going to act like i talk to the doc and stuff O.o ))

While Kendall sat in the chair, she watched the news on the little TV. The doctor walked in and told her everything that was going on. With tears in her eyes, Kendall called Brian's parents to fill them in and told them the room information. Since they're at work they will come tomorrow, so Kendall ran home for stuff then came right back, spending the night with Brian.

(Change of plans! Didn't see that coming, did ya?)

Brian woke up around twelve AM, straight out of a bad dream. He had sweat running down his forehead and he was white as a ghost, which was a lot considering his deep farmers tan. He looked at all the wires and machines hooked into him, his vision coming back to him in a blur.

"The f*ck's going on," he muttered, having forgot the events that led up to him arriving in the hospital. He slowly recalled the flash of lights that blinded him, then the feeling and jerking of his truck as he tried to regain control. He lifted a hand up to wipe the beads of sweat from his forehead. His vision came in on Kendall. He wasn't sure if she was awake or not. I'm not dead. Holy. He made a mental note to go to the Church whenever he would be allowed out. He bit his bottom lip in contemplation, before gently calling out to her. "Kendall," he whispered. "You awake?"

Kendall's eyes widened and she stood up, practically running to the bed. "Brian? Your up?" She asked, making sure he wasn't dreaming or anything. She was hoping that she would be able to talk to him. "Brian, I shouldn't have left you at the club. It's all my fault. I'm sorry." Kendall said, shaking. She grabbed his hand and held it, tears falling down her face. She felt so bad that he was hurt, she should have stayed there and drove him.

He smiled a grim smile and squeezed her hand. Brian drawled her in, placing his arms gingerly around her and giving her the best hug he could in his condition. "It wasn't your fault, and I don't think it was my fault." He rubbed her back whilst hugging her, feeling somewhat better that she was there with him. His mind couldn't help but linger on the upcoming future and his recovery. He had a feeling it was going to be a long, brutal one. Either way, he was desperate to comfort Kendall. "If you would've drove me, it could've been both of us. It was one of those things that just happened."

Kendall held him and looked into his eyes. As tears ran down she stated, "I'd rather be hurt than to watch you suffer on your own." She held his hand and kissed his cheek gently. Kendall decided to herself that she will ask his parents if she could move in, so she can take care of him while they were at work. They would while she was at school, and Kendall would get all the lessons and have him do his work at home then take it back so he doesn't miss anything and passes for the year. She laid there as she made up her plan.

"I'd rather be all banged up then you, so the feeling's mutual," he said while still holding his grim smile. There was no one he'd rather have by his side in a moment like this. "You called my parents, right?" He felt for his parents, they'd be having a fit over him.

(Writer's block :/ )

"Of course I did!" Kendall said. "They're working now, so they'll be here in the mornin' to pick us up, well you. I have the truck." Kendall remembered something and got up, going to a bag. She pulled out Brian's cell phone and house keys. "Most important stuff was saved." Kendall smiled and gave him his things, sitting back down on the bed.

( I know! It's a new spreading disease! :c )

He smiled and took his stuff, checking it all to make sure nothing was broke. "Thanks, baby." He set it on the stand that sat next to the bed. "Want to lay down with me?" He offered, moving himself to make space. It would be a tight fit, but he figured they would manage if the pulled together tight enough.

Kendall nodded, but stood up. "Yeah, but first I have to listen to the doctor's orders. He said to let him know when you're awake." She walked out of the room and came back five minutes along with the doctor. He began asking Brian questions on how he's feeling, while Kendall sat on the chair until he left.

"Aw damn. Hurry back," He said with a grin. The doctor came on in with a smile that matched Brians. If he's this happy now, I can't wait to see how happy he'll be when he bills us. Brian smirked at his own thoughts. He answered the doctor's questions pretty quickly, anxious to get cuddled up with Kendall. After a few more questions, the doctor said he was glad to hear Brian was doing so well and said that Brian should be able to leave the next morning. Brian nodded and thanked the doctor. Once he was out, he turned to Kendall with a smile. "Come here," he said, again offering space for her.

Kendall smiled and laid down, bringing the little TV that was attached to the bed to face them. "What do you wanna watch?" She asked, grabbing the remote. She was very happy to be with him, and to spend the night once again. She brought her bag of things to do closer as well, incase they get bored.

He adjusted a bit, making sure she had enough room and was comfortable. "Eh, whatever. You pick." He smiled as she picked the channel to watch on the television. He adjusted the pillow and got comfortable himself. He slid his hand to hers, interlocking his fingers with his.

Jamie was confused about why Kendall bolted from the diner last night after their heart to heart. She woke up the next morning and texted her. Is everything okay?! She knew she overreacted last night and after thinking about it she realized that it was cool of the girl to come comfort her.

It was Thursday and the last thing she wanted to do was spend the day at school. The weather was beautiful, after all. She acted like she was running late and as soon as her mother left for work she called Jesse.

"Jamie?" Jesse answered, confused. He was on his way to school and had barely heard his phone ring over the sound of his iPod.

"Hey, Jesse. What's up?" Jamie asked casually.

"Um, on the way to school...you?" he replied uncertainly. Why was Jamie calling him randomly?

"But it's so beautiful out today!" Jamie enthused. Jesse could tell she was in a much better mood than yesterday. Hopefully things worked out between her and Kendall.

"I know, I walk to school." he said, not meaning to sound as bitter as he did. It seemed like everybody in Appleby drove their truck to school everyday except for him and Samantha. Sam didn't have a car because she was a hippie, and Jesse could take the Cadillac CTS but he didn't want people to know his dad was rich.

"Anyway, I'm not going."

"Not going where?"

"To school today." she claimed.

"Okay, well what are you gonna do instead?" he asked. Jamie seemed like the type to ditch school for nice weather. She was very...rebellious. But it was totally hot.

"The real question is," Jamie said flirtatiously, "What are we gonna do instead? You, me and Samantha. Let's go to the mall or something." She still hadn't heard from Alexa, who was on her period or something else that caused her to act like a flaming b!tch. Why not get to know Jesse and Sam in the time being?

"I think Sam has a test today..." Jesse started, "But I'm down for whatever."

"Sick!" Jamie cried, "I'll meet you at the mall in 30."

Kendall woke up, from sleeping during the night. She slipped out of Brian's arms and stood up, stretching and checking her phone. She saw Jamie's text and replied. 'Yeah, everything is fine. Brian got in an accident, were at the hospital. Sorry for running out!' After that she saw a text from Brian's parents saying they will be there at noon, which was in an hour. Kendall woke Brian then went to change into new clothes she brought along, calling nurses in to help get him set up to leave.

Brian smiled as he woke up to Kendall standing there with him. "Thanks for staying with me. I appreciate it more than you know." He got set up and quickly dressed. His parents picked him up while Kendall got the truck, and they headed back to the house. He waved at the farmhands they passed while going through the farm and towards the house. They were working hard to get the crop in.

The group arrived in front of the house and Brian took his time getting up the stairs, his limp obvious in his movements. He made it up the steps and took a break on the porch, easing into a porch-seat.

Kendall sat down next to him, making sure he was alright. She helped him inside and up to his bed and got him settled in, getting everything Brian wanted so he was comfortable and had stuff to do. She told him she'll be back later when she went back downstairs to his parents. Kendall sat them down and talked to them about her whole moving in plan, and they agreed before she could even think. With a smile, Kendall ran to her truck and went home. She filled up a suitcase and a couple bags with stuff, to move in, and quickly returned. Brian's parents agreed she can sleep with him, so she ran upstairs and threw her bags down. "Hey Roomie." She greeted him with a big smile.

Brian hadn't even sat down before Kendall had run off. He couldn't help but wonder what she was up too. He heard her truck driving off and was a bit disappointed, but quickly put it behind him. He then heard her truck pulling up to their house again. What's she doing? he wondered. Then she came in and placed her bags, stating "Hey Roomie." He smiled at her. "Hey, gorgeous. Do I have a new roommate?" He could hardly believe it, this accident stuff was starting to look a small bit better.

After em arrived home she got out her phone and texted kendall hey is brian ok and where are you weren't at school today.. i missed you! text me when you get this and im gonna have a party for brian but don't tell him.. EM send it and plop down on my bed, and read my magazine, flipping through the pages .. Em gets bored and down down stairs and grabs something to eat and sits down on the couch munching on her food

Kendall nodded and put her bags to the side. She hopped onto the bed, gently, and kissed Brian's cheek. She was so excited to be with him, it was like a fantasy. Kendall remembered that they had a guest bedroom and stood up. "I'll be right back." She quickly ran to the room down the hall and pushed the dresser into Brian's room, so her stuff can get out of the suitcases. Kendall quickly unpacked, putting the bags in the closet then came back onto the bed, laying down.
(oops)

Kendall got the text and smiled. 'Hey, everything's okay, Brian's pretty banged up, so his parent's are letting me stay to take care of him while they're at work. Sorry I wasn't in school, i'll be in tomorrow! And alrightie, text me the plans when you make them, and if you need help we'll talk at lunch! Ttyl xoxo (;'

Brian smiled and kissed her when she kissed his cheek. When he noticed her getting the dresser down to his room, he got up and helped her the best he could in his position. He then went back to the bed with her, laying beside her and stretching his arm around her waist, gently cuddling with her. He made sure not to peek at her text when she got one, not wanting to be snoopy. "Everything alright?" He asked her once she typed a reply back.

Kendall looked over and smiled. "Yeah, everything's great!" She answered, happily. She was excited about everything, and that she got to spend time with Brian. She finally sat up and looked him in the eyes, ready to explain the whole plan with him. "Okay, we need to discuss some important reasons why I'm staying here, since I'm here to take care of you, alright?"

He looked up at her, curious as to what she had to say. "Alright, what's up?" He couldn't imagine what she had to say, she wasn't that predictable. She had seemed pretty happy though, so he assumed it was nothing heartbreaking or anything to serious. She also seemed like she had been enjoying her time with him, as had he.
