Lifeless River (AllisonChase x Guardia)

"Not at all." I smiled as I turned to the river sitting by it. "Not a lot of things scare me, Besides losing my family." I used my magic to control some water. The Sun was setting and the moon had started to rise, I looked up to the cloudless sky and relaxed.

I coughed and covered my face with my hair. "You should go. It's a full moon and it's kinda hard to control a few thousand Wolves that just want to tear out each other's throats," I spoke gruffly, eyes glowing brighter.

"Okay." I stood up and grabbed my book. "If you're still curious about elves or me I'll be up the river." I took my bag and crossed the river once more and headed up the river to the secret hideout I had made.

I nodded. "Wait!" I called, unsure why I wanted to know. "What's your name?" I asked over the river, arm stretched towards her as if I could grab her. My eyes were glowing bright, probably scaring her to death but I had to know.

"I am Era. And your name is?" I called back. He looked like he wanted to grab my hand. "I'll be back tomorrow if you want to talk!" And with that I ran off.
It was dark outside, I couldn't stop thinking about him. ~He is so interesting, I have to go back tomorrow.~

"Hunter! My names Hunter," I smiled, hoping she heard. Era was a beautiful name. And she was coming back! I leapt in the air, fist-pumping. I finally talked to a girl and it wasn't some rep at the Pack! I didn't know why I was that happy but it felt good.

The moon shone brightly, as I laid on the ground. I looked at it. The moon always calmed me, my powers were stronger on the full moon but gone on the new moon. I had to be careful of knights looking for me. I took out my notebook and wrote what I had learned today. "He said his name was Hunter. Such an amazing name." I smiled ~He looked excited when I said I was coming back. I hope he's there tomorrow~

I half shifted, my Wolf waiting for this for two months. I thought about Era as I shifted, trying to keep my mind. And it worked. I stood there, shredded clothes around me and eyes glowing a bloodred crimson and yet I still felt like myself. I snuck over the border, coming upon her camp. I grunted while in the shadows, not wanting to show myself in fear she'd run.

I heard a grunting noise, I stood up fast. "Who's there?" I had my magic at the ready. "Please show yourself I do not wish to hurt you.'' I walked to the shadows where I heard the grunt from. I saw crimson red eyes, they didn't really scare me, I just couldn't stop staring. ~Maybe it's Hunter.~ I thought. ~No I don't think he would he'd be in danger~

I snorted at the threat and took a step into the light, stretching to my full 7 feet of fur and muscle. I held out my clawed hand, nodding. I hoped she'd recognize me but I could only hope that if she didn't, she at least wouldn't hit me with a fatal spell. My tail wagged, ears pressing onto my skull to show I wasn't going to hurt her.

I backed up a bit, putting my spell away. I took a step closer and put my hand in his. "Hunter?" I asked looking him up and down. "Amazing I've finally gotten to see a real Werewolf!" I felt so excited. "But if you are Hunter, You shouldn't be on this side! You could get hurt!"

I shrugged, huffing. I sat heavily, a bit cramped with my extra long limbs. Hopefully I make it home in time before the moon disappears or else I'm gonna end up naked in front of a girl I just met. I rolled my eyes and grunted, beckoning her closer. I wanted to smell her as a Wolf so that way I could identify her as a friend and not attack her on any other full moon.

I moved closer to him kneeling in front of him. I looked into his eyes. "Gosh how much you interest me." I moved my face closer to his. I waited for him to make his move.

I leaned forward, sniffing her face. I let out a sigh, my breath blowing her hair back. I nodded and smiled, as Wolfy as it got. I snapped my teeth together in agreement, wanting to make a snarky comment about how I interest all the ladies.

I had no idea what to do now. I patted his head for the hell of it. "Sorry I just don't know what to do." I laid in the sand. "You should go back to your side, If guards come looking for me, You might get caught or worse." I looked to the moon, sighing "I don't want to see you get hurt because of me."

I shrugged and woofed quietly, tail thumping. It's not like they could catch my scent if I kept moving back and forth through the river. And I could hear guards from a mile away if they came, giving me enough time to run across the border. I placed my giant paw on her shoulder, smiling. You worry too much.

I sighed placing my hand on his, and smiled a bit. "Why do people think you're so scary, If they just learned or had patience to get to know you guys." I huffed blowing my hair out of my face.

I smiled. I'll show you. I sprung up, leaning over her and pushing her onto her back, making sure not to hurt her. I roared and snapped at her face, raising a clawed hand. I stopped and nodded, taking her hand in mine and pulling her up with me.

I was surprised that was basically all. He didn't scare me and I knew he wasn't going to hurt me. "Well you didn't scare me but you did manage to surprise me." I smiled shakley. I looked up at Hunter. He was much taller than me.

I grunted and winced, the moon going down. I huffed and blew air in her face. I have to go. I pointed to this spot and held out my paws as if to say stay. Then I spun around and ran off, shoulder starting to hurt worse.

I stood in this spot looking at the moon going down. ~I knew he was going off to change. That's about my basic knowledge of werewolves.~ I hummed a little tune so I didn't feel so lonely. He'd been the first person I had really connected with.

I shifted after I found my way to my lonely cabin. I threw on some clothes, a bit more thoughtful this time. I didn't know why the half shift messed up my clothing and the full shift didn't but I shifted anyways and ran to the lake, barking outside her camp.

The wind blew through my red hair. I heard barking and I spun around and saw Hunter. I smiled and walked over to him, patting his head. "Hey there."

I nipped at her hand and shifted, standing taller than her. "I'm not a doggy," I teased, smiling ever so slightly. I sat in her camp, leaning against a log.
