Queen of the Underworld!
What would you do if you opened your eyes, only to discover you're lying in a cemetery? You're body is stiff, nearly unable to move for what seems like hours. Calling out for help, you're greeted by one of many who are there to welcome those who enter the Underworld. With a few gentle touches from this stranger, your body begins to grow lighter, until you can eventually sit up.
It's at this point you realize your skin is pale, resembling the color of death, and you have not a clue as to where you are. Frightened, your greeter tries to reassure you that all will be alright, and explains that you have been dead for hundreds, maybe thousands of years! The news comes as a shock. It would seem you remember everything about your life, though nothing about your death.
Rising to a stand, it is discovered that you have awoken in the Kingdom of Norheim, one of the few countries that inhabit the Underworld, and sadly, none of them get along. Walking through the town, it's clear to see that everyone seems to be in good spirits, despite the circumstances. Finally, you are taken to the royal court, where you'll officially be greeted by the King himself. Some have been awakened for a special reason, be it a warrior or knight needed to fight in the war to keep the peace. Perhaps there was a special talent in your previous life that could provide to be useful! Or maybe, the reason you were brought here is not known. All you know is........Death is only the beginning.
This would be a roleplay about the lives of those who perished, and were reawakened in the Kingdom of Norheim. While the town seems at peace and happy, the ugly truth of war lies just beyond the walls that are meant to protect the citizens. What sort of life would you lead after your death? Would you become a warrior or knight, fighting to keep the peace among the four counties? Would you take up a trade you learned from your human life? Will there be love in your future, or will you become hated by those around you? Perhaps you're a spy for one of the other countries! The opportunities are endless.
Characters Needed:
The king, of course, would be an NPC character to make things fair.
Royal family- a few princes or princesses just to make the royal family active
Knights/warriors- War is a dangerous thing, are you willing to risk your afterlife to fight for what's right?
Townsfolk- those who haven't discovered their purpose, or practice a trade
Obviously, I'm open to ideas, and this is only a rough draft of the RP. Does it sound at all like something you may want to try out?
