Hello there! I am in need of a few people to RP some plots that I've been itching to play.
First, those lovely requirements:
Now lately I've been on a romance kick. I have no clue why, given the fact that I have never been in a romantic relationship nor have I ever had the inclination of entering a romantic relationship. Most of my plots have the potential to have a romantic subplot if we want them to, though it will not be the main focus. Probably. Some of my plots would very heavily focus on romance.
So that's it! Reply or PM me with suggestions, ideas, agreements, planning, etc. etc. I will be waiting!
First, those lovely requirements:
- I live in EST time and am most active on the weekdays past 15:30 and up to 23:00. I would like someone who is also active at those times, no matter what timezone.
- I am not a rapid-fire replier, as school has begun, but I would like someone who can post at least 4 times a day, more or less.
- I do not have line/paragraph requirements. I find those kind of stifling. I just want to be able to move the plot forward, either with one line or 8 paragraphs. That said, if you prefer there to be a requirement, we can make one.
- I play a whole bunch of side-characters and would like my partner to also be able to play a whole bunch of side characters of all different genders.
- My characters usually come from somewhere on the LGBT+ spectrum. Please be comfortable RPing with characters from all over.
- Legibility is key. Have good spelling and punctuation, though I will understand the occasional slip-up as I have them too.
- Be willing to nudge me if I don't respond for a while. I most likely forgot. I will understand if life gets rough and you need a break, though I do ask that you tell me if you will be gone for more than two days and inform me if you are going offline for the day to go to sleep/work/school, etc.
- I like to RP on threads. There's a spot for OOC chat already and character posts.
- Be willing to plan with me and talk to me. If things become boring for you, tell me! If you want to drop because there's nothing interesting, tell me! If you want to do this when it comes to plot, tell me!
- Obligatory no god-modding/Mary/Gary Stu characters.

Two assassin guilds are prominent within a city. While both value money, that is about the only thing in common the two groups have. One values morals: kill your target and only your target. Do your job quickly and cleanly. Do not speak of the guild outside of its walls. Do not trust anyone outside of the guild with information. Do not bring attention to the guild.
Another is a bit more loose with their morals. Get the job done and do it effectively. Do whatever it takes to finish up the job as quickly and efficiently as possible. Money first, job second. Trust no one, even within the guild. And you work for your place in the guild.
What happens when two members cross paths on a mission, a mission that seems doomed to fail? What happens when it seems like there is corruption on all sides and the government is closing in? Will they work together to succeed, or will their differences and rivalries trump all?
Character A used to be on top of the world. Their parents were wealthy business people, the best in their industry. Until something happened, be it corruption, a sudden market crash, politics. Character A is suddenly near the bottom rungs of the social ladder, forced to leave behind a life of luxury and being a life of normalcy.
Character B has known hardship. They are not from a family of wealth and they are going to college on scholarship after scholarship. They are assigned Character A as a roommate/partner/ to a project/coworker. Character A and Character B find themselves at odds at all times, their different lifestyles and ideals clashing terribly. As time moves on, however, the two find themselves working together more and more.
This needs much more planning, so anyone who has any ideas, please toss them at me!
Humanity has stretched far beyond their tiny blue sphere, traveling to the far reaches and edges of the universe. Unfortunately, humanity's habit of recklessness seems to have followed. As humanity jumps from planet to planet, they leave behind abandoned mine shafts, destroyed environments, desolated planets that cannot sustain life.
Other forms of intelligent life practically shun humanity for its poor treatment of new planets. They despise the way that humans are treating these new environments, as if they were stepping stones rather than homes for species already. However, money is a powerful motivator and while governments are implementing laws, not all of them are being followed and as humanity becomes more and more spread out throughout the universe, it gets harder to enforce them.
Character A is a bandit. That's the life they've known and come to love. Money is their greatest motivator and fuck the rules because why not? One day, however, their band of comrades touches down on an abandoned planet. They are told to snoop around an old, abandoned building. Character A finds something great, something glorious, something worth money. But when they turn around to tell the rest of their gang, they discover that they have been left behind.
Character B has risen through the ranks of the international police/army to become one of the best members. They hunt down those that have broken sacred laws and put them away for what they have done. The sight of destroyed planets breaks their heart, for they know that the beings that had once inhabited them were wiped out by humanity's hand. Their ship crash lands on this same planet and they find themselves at a terrible disadvantage as their communication systems have been shot and they were on a solo mission. They head off to the only building in sight, in hopes of communicating with their base.
What happens when these two people meet? Will Character A be the first to contact their crew or will Character B be able to notify their organization of what is happening? What happens when the thing they have found turns out to be so much more than they bargained for? What happens when they suddenly find themselves fighting off something much more terrible than they imagined?
Humanity has spread to the corners of the solar system, inhabiting asteroids, moons, and terrestrial planets. Each of these different pockets of life seems to have a different set-up. Some act like a country, run by a democratically elected official while others are overseen by a monarch with money and a way to keep the people happy. These places are usually more hostile to human life and people usually live in small domes together. Some are more like Earth, with many countries all overseen by their own government and with some overarching organizations, like the UN or NATO.
One small place decides that it wants more. Its king has seen the turmoil of the solar system, seen the wars that have taken place. They want to unite all of the planets, all of the colonies together so that peace may be achieved. However, not everyone is in support of this.
As a result, a small band of resistance fighters is formed, a group of fighters that want to keep the solar system as free from a tyrannical grasp as possible. However, it seems as if most agree that peace can be achieved through unity, that through unity, they can have better trade and a safer home.
But many other planets are rousing, unhappy with the idea as well. Everyone is gearing up to fight, to clash across space in order to get exactly what they want. The fight will be bloody and the end may not be what anyone wants.
This isn't as well thought out as the others, so I need people to help plan!
Alright, so this one is a bit different. Basically what happens is that two people pair up and create a character completely separate from each other. There are of course guidelines; both have to be human, they can have superpowers, etc. etc. Then, they are tossed together. No matter how different they are, they're now destined to get together.
It's up to us, however, to figure out how that's supposed to happen.
So that's it! Reply or PM me with suggestions, ideas, agreements, planning, etc. etc. I will be waiting!
