I regret posting a comment about how a roundabout works when driving on a YouTube video. Some idiots apparently don’t know the difference between a ‘yield’ sign and a ‘stop’ sign lol

Sorry, I had to rant about it. It irritates me that people think yield and stop are same when they're not. The main reason is because roundabout are there is they're meant to keep a constant traffic flow so you'll never ever see stop signs at a roundabout because then it'll basically just be an overly complicated all-way intersection.

"Oh, but it's defensive driving to stop at a roundabout." Like, no, shut the hell up you know nothing about what the damn purpose of a roundabout is. If you did, then you wouldn't be saying such an idiotic thing!

Learn what the different signs actually mean and you'll never question what the different intersections do and how to use them properly! I'm not an aggressive driver mind you (at least I don't mean to be), I just know what the traffic signs mean.

Anyways, sorry about the rant. Had to get it off my chest cause it irritated me a bit lol

Seriously though, how did they get their driver's licenses without knowing what the different signs mean? Like that's a pretty important thing to know so you don't cause problems. I don't have a lot of room to talk though since it's not like I'm driving yet. But it just sounds like common sense to me to not get stop and yield mixed up.

Beats me. There are drivers out there who seem like they got their licenses by pure luck. To be fair though, yield and stop are similar in a way. In the end, they both mean stop.

One of them is just more clear about it then the other is. If/when you start driving, please learn the different, non-traffic lighted intersections. Coming from a guy who has been driving for 8-9 years, it will help you A LOT and save you one hell of a headache that is dealing with the people who DON'T know lol

It's definitely intimidating at first but it becomes less scary the more time you spend behind the wheel.
