The Regal Rper
Mad Scientist
GM: The Regal Rper
Co-GM: Sir Les Paul
1. Realize that you are now part of a Detailed RP. Meaning, one liners and anything else that goes with a simple RP, doesn't apply here. Soul Eater: Rookie's Stage is a detailed RP where you may just find yourself writing one to maybe even three paragraphs.
2.Evidently, in the past I have been required to puppet characters for the sake of moving things along. Know that by joining this RP, you are freely giving me permission, to puppet your character in crucial moments where it is required. Also know, that I will notify you when I do or am going to.
3.As always I like to say one thing before people jump on the band wagon- make sure you have enough supplies with you when you start tagging along. I don't expect everyone to be experts at character creation, but I do want to see some effort, some thought, and some uniqueness. I and my Co-GM are always willing to help you out if you need it, we are just a PM away after all.
4.Do me a favor and hear me out here. Don't create Overpowered Characters. This isn't that kinda RP and I ain't that kinda GM. You can't power through everything that I'll be throwing at you, because if my own creations aren't given that liberty and no one else has it either, then you can't also.
5. The most important. When you join, I ask for one small thing; a sample of writing from you. Simply PM it to me. The size of it doesn't matter but it has to be more than one sentence. Without this I cannot accept your CS.

Effects of Posting
-
1. All character actions in IC, have an effect in this universe. Every character is important and no one character outweighs the other. All characters play some role of some form in this story and I intend to use all actions in IC against your characters at some point or another.
2. I do not have a specified posting time limit. As I know from personal experience this never upholds. I do however have a deadline that extends into Out of Commission.
3. When posting be sure to state your character's location with sides so that there is no confusion if one character is in another area.
4. It is heavily advised you refrain from actions that will offend a player in some way. This has happened before, I'd prefer it does not happen again. You get one warning, then you are out.
5. Your Characters can be killed in this RP. This can only be done by an agreement between the player/players and GM.
6. Be sure to include the sides code when mentioning your character's location in any area in the thread. This will make it easier for us to determine who they are interacting with and where they are.
Code:[side=right] Location: Death City | Town Square Interactions: Student A [/side]

Out of Commission
-
1. Out of Commission means your character has been written off. This means they have been removed from a scene, arc, or plot point through my manipulation and collusion with other players of this group.
2. Being Out of Commission means your character is under pause. We have moved your character to a place or put your character in a position where you can still jump in but will not jeopardize the progression of this RP.
3. Players get an out of commission mark after 11 days of inactivity (unless the GM themselves has been inactive that week). I give you at least a week plus some days to make a post.
4. Players who do not inform the Co-GM, other players, or the GM of their abscence and fail to post within 11 days, earn a strike on the Out of Commission list.
5.To have your character placed back into the RP, you will need to contact me or my Co-GM. Both the Co-GM and the GM have the right to freeze your character after a certain amount of inactivity.
6. Getting 3 out of commissions earns you the boot in this RP. I am willing to make exceptions so long as I or a Co-GM is contacted that there will be abscesses or if you have a good reason for disappearing, but get 3 out of commissions with no reason as to why, and you are out of this RP.

Official PartnershipsPartnerships are set in two ways and two ways only.
1. A partnership can be set before the introduction of your characters in IC. For that to happen, both my Co-GM and I need to know the history and relationship between your characters and why they became partners. These types of partnerships must show and blossom in IC, otherwise it's basically just slapping two characters together because you wanted to and I've seen it before- it makes reading about those characters boring and painful.
2. The second way in which partners are formed is in IC. These partnerships are done through interactions and are formed between characters interacting with one another. Through this there is much more evidence and proof that a partnership formed in a way all could vouch for.
3. All partnerships are official once I and my Co-GM has been notified and we both concur to it.
4. Partnerships are not to be chosen simply because you like someone else's character, remember this is Soul Eater. Wavelengths, relationships, and matching all play a role in how partnerships are formed. Opposites ( Maka & Soul or Kid and the Thompsons ) work best, but that does not mean opposites that hate each other will be able to match. Similar bonds ( Soul & Kirik ) aren't the greatest match, but that does not mean similarities that are more disparate than one thinks won't be able to sync and match.
5. Partnerships are not to be interfered with by myself or the Co-GM unless absolutely necessary. We may give suggestions or offer advice and push you in the right direction, but I don't intend on playing a role in matching you up with other players. I didn't like it the restriction of not being able to choose in my first Soul Eater RP, so I'm giving you all the freedom to make decisions for yourselves with a little help if needed.
1. All characters in Rookie's Stage will start out as a One Star unless the GM has given permission to create a plot device character before any character can be made into Rank 2 or above.
2. Players are free to create any species/race they want for their character outside of the canon. What this means is if you want a half-blood werewolf meister, you could have a half-blood werewolf meister provided that you speak with both Co-GM and GM before your creating.
3. All Character Creations must be approved by the GM and Co-GM.
4. Characters are forbidden from being blatantly powerful in multiple aspects.
5. Players are free to have their characters skilled in certain aspects or certain skills/ abilities.
6. OP characters will be deleted or advised to be changed and altered to fit the requirements of this RP.
7. Players are free to create their own lore within the RP, provided that they discuss things with the GM first.
8. Some Canon Characters in this AU have descendants. The GM will decide if you are allowed to have a character that is a descendant of any of these canon characters or not. In the event that you are not allowed, be prepared to have a back-up plan as I do not intend on allowing everyone (or a few) have canon descendants.
