Realistic or Modern Last Summer

Paeyton personally didn't like going to the beach, the only reason her aunt allowed her and the others to stay here for the summer was just that she had to have records/bills that say that someone is actually using the house. Paeyton probably would have gone crazy if she had to stay here by herself all summer. Thinking of this made her actually want to be social. She got up and noticed Oliver and sat down next to him "Please tell me you are having more fun than I am" she looked at him

"I wanted to know if you could um..." She bit her lip. "Actually, could you meet me in my room later? Around bedtime? I guess we can't do it here." Ales looked around. She wanted to talk to him but not with everyone around. After a moment of silence she gave him a quick appreciative hug and said, "Thanks." Before heading over towards Lucas and Thomas.

Oliver looked down at Paeyton, "I'd be having a lot more fun if my high didn't already wear off." He nudges her playfully, "Nah, it's fine. There's just not much to do at the beach. I don't do swimming because it makes my hair look like medusa and that's not a pretty sight" He smirks down at her. "Why aren't you having fun? You okay, love?" There's that soft side again, God he hates being so mushy. But around all of his friends he really has no choice, it seems like every second something wrong is happening so he has to be there to help out, even if that means being a loser.

Gabe blinked. Does she want have...Gabe shook his head. "Nope, nope, nope," he said firmly. "Save for my wedding day." Gabe had made that promise to himself and the girl he would marry. He wasn't going to break it. Instead, he started swimming back to shore. Walking up, he saw Annabell, and had a wickedly bad idea. He walked quietly to her, and then suddenly grabbed her, throwing her over his shoulder with a grunt. He then ran back into the water, laughing like a mad man, until he was up to his chest, and threw her in. "That's for earlier," he said happily.

Paeyton couldn't help but laugh at Oliver "I'm not that big a fan of the beach either, yeah I'm fine" Paeyton liked to keep the issues with her and Lucas between the two of them, she wasn't exactly sure if he did the same. Once people get involved things tend to get more and more complicated. She did glance over to where Lucas was but kept her attention on Oliver. "So what do you think of it here"

Oliver shrugged, "I'm not so into the big fancy schmancy stuff." He smiled at her playfully, "but it's nice. I'm super ready for the party." He smiles again. He was so ready to get messed up, he wanted to drink the night away. Then maybe he can actually have some real fun the way he's used to. He chuckled quietly, as he stared at his friends in the water. He watched Gabe throw Anna in the water and a wicked grin appeared across his face. He picked Paeyton up and slung her across his shoulders. He then began walking towards the water.

"I haven't really had the chance to, but I brought a couple games to the beach house if you want to play some later," Lucas answered Tom with a smile. He was caught off guard when Tom asked him for girl advice, but he wasn't surprised. "I'm assuming this is about a certain someone on the sand over there," he said with a knowing smile, referring to Eve. Everyone had noticed the doe-eyed look that Tom had whenever he was around her, not to mention the nervous rambling too. "Usually they'll want to talk to you and be around you, probably using any opportunity to get closer to you," he began to say. "But you'll never know for sure until you ask directly," he added, trying to encourage his friend to voice his feelings.

Thomas perked up at the mention of video games, nodding his head. He couldn't help but smile, it had been a long time since he played games with anyone. "Definitely. I hope you're ready to lose." In any other scenario Tom would never challenge someone like that but he felt comfortable doing it for three reasons. First, Lucas was a very good friend of his and he trusted him. Second, video games are what he does. If he can't win at that, what the hell else can he do well? Third... Well I mean it should be obvious. There's no way I can lose. Maybe I should ask Eve to watch me play. Girls like winners, right?

The smile faded some when Lucas knew exactly who Tom was asking about. He didn't think it was that obvious but apparently his friend saw right through him. "I uh...Well that's not...You're right. I've totally got a thing for Annabelle. The nerd chuckled at his obvious lie, the grin on his face growing. It was nice to be with someone he could joke around with.

When Thomas saw Ales approaching the two he gave her a short wave. He spoke quietly to Lucas before greeting the girl. "Thanks man. I'll summon the courage up some day...Hey Ales! So we doing this chicken fight or what? We're gonna win easy!" Toms grin widened even more as he gave the girl a thumbs up.

Alessandra gave a small smile and nodded. "They'd better watch out." She agreed, glancing over at Audrey. She liked the girl, but could get fiercely competitive when it came down to it. After a second she looked back. "Alright Tom. Let's do this."

Looking a bit surprised, Eve watched as Gabe suddenly slung Annie over his shoulders, ran towards the water, and threw her in. It seemed Oliver had the same idea, and he too followed after him, except with Paeyton. She seemed to be too discombobulated to laugh, and instead managed a small smile, which quickly faded away seconds later. Her pale gaze returned to the sand below, listening to her friends play in the water. Eve could feel the sunlight dancing on her skin, threatening to burn it, but she didn't seem to mind.

While everyone was distracted, Eve gathered her things and quietly began making her way back towards the house. The book she'd started reading had been on her mind all day, and she was just dying to read it. Eve figured her friends wouldn't mind if she disappeared for awhile.

Taking off her shoes and wiping off whatever lingering sand stuck to her skin, Eve opened the door and stepped inside, making her way upstairs and to her room. She shut the door gently behind her, and began changing into an outfit she'd be wearing for the rest of the day. Although it took her quite a long time to find them, Eve found her glasses and slipped them onto the bridge of her nose. She then opened one of her bags, which was filled with varieties of books. Eve pulled a specific one out, and made her way towards the balcony outside. Plopping herself down into one of the chairs, she began reading.

As soon as she seen Oliver's expression she knew exactly what he was going to do and as Oliver picked her up She started nervously laughing, she even closed her eyes "why do you hate me" she said, still nervously laughing. Instead of fighting with him, she just went with it. Even if she did argue he would more than likely throw her in the water anyway, she just hoped that the water wouldn't be too cold

Oliver smirked, "If I hated you, I wouldn't pick on you." He chuckled as he made his way into the water, letting the cool water chill his bones. He smiled even wider as he tossed Paeyton into the water gently, making sure to not hurt the girl. He laughed when he saw her facial expression as she hit the water. He slid his sunglasses up to get a better view of the water, "wow.." was all he could think of when he gazed out beyond the horizon. He had never been to an ocean before, he didn't mind because he still hates swimming. But the view was breathtaking to him. He smiled once more and sat himself in the water and quickly pulled his sunglasses back over his eyes.

"Wait--Gabe? Gabe? Gabe!" Annabelle blurted, laughing uncontrollably. Dangling off of Gabe's shoulder, she couldn't help but feel like a monkey, swinging on a branch. A well-built, sturdy branch. Swinging her legs around, she squealed, hearing Gabe walk closer and closer to her impending doom. He was laughing like a madman too, which wasn't exactly making her feel any better.

"No no no no no," Anna pleaded, "Gabe I just dried off--" Too late. Gabe was already up to his waist in the cold water, and Anna felt a few droplets spray against her bare legs. Almost in slow motion, Anna felt Gabe throw her into the cool waters. Barely having enough time to let out a small yelp, Anna went under the waves, already swearing revenge against Gabe. As she resurfaced, she immediately jumped on Gabe's back, trying to force him under.

"You--I'm so gonna get you back!" Annabelle laughed, her caramel waves now a deeper chestnut shade from being wet. Moving around, little beadlets of water dropped onto the sand below, quickly washed back into the waves of the ocean.

As soon as Oliver dropped Paeyton into the water, she freaked out, mainly because the water was freezing. She got out as fast as she could, she grabbed her towel, still shivering "Yep I am definitely ready to go back now" she said out loud. Once she was some what warm, she laid her towel back down on the sand, she started putting her hair up into a bun, then put her sunglasses on.

Oliver pouted and followed Paeyton, "You're no fun." He said with a smirk. He patted her wet hair, and smiled again. "Yeah, I've been ready to go back. Just thought I'd have a little fun first." He lifts up his sunglasses and winks at Paeyton, then quickly turns around and starts making his way back to the house.

Gabe hadn't expected Annie to try to ride him again. However, this time, he was prepared. He dived back first underwater, letting him easily get Annie off of him. He resurfaced, and turned to face her. "Seriously, why would you try to ride me?" He asked her, "Do you have any idea how awkward that is?"

Frowning, Annabelle jumped off almost immediately, making the same face she had when she swallowed mouthfuls of salty seawater. Anna crossed her arms, not getting the reaction she was expecting, "Gabe, are you twelve?"

"It's not awkward, until you make it awkward," Anna huffed, tapping Gabe lightly on the nose the way a lecturing parent would. Pausing, she backed up slightly, grinning sheepishly, "and now it's awkward, you ass."

Walking back towards the shore, she shook her waves lightly, small beads of water dripping onto the warm sand below her. Looking around, she noticed most of her friends had started to head in.

"Seb, let's head in too," Annabelle smiled, walking towards her best friend. She had gotten over the 'pretending-to-be-mad-at-Seb' scenario, and forgotten it completely.

@DaManofWar @SomatoToup123

Gabe furrowed his brow at what Annabelle had just told him. He was also confused. Why would she tap his nose with her finger? He ran after her. "Annabelle, do you like me or something? I mean, like like me?" Gabe asked her the questions with a far amount of confusion. He really wasn't sure. The incident had been a bit embarresing.

Annabelle burst out laughing, doubling over and clutching her stomach. She hadn't been this amused in quite a long, long time. "G-Gabe..." She replied shakily, out of breath from laughing, "that's absolutely ridiculous... I mean, no offe--" Annabelle took another pause, her laughter getting the best of her, "no offense, but that's highly, and I mean like a 99.9 percent unlikely." Finally, Annabelle caught up with her laughter and her breathing, standing upright once more. Resting her hand on her hip, she looked at the boy in front of her, "Gabe, listen. I'm sure an eccentric lady somewhere out there would absolutely love," Pausingx Annabelle motioned at Gabe, "all this, but, unfortunately, that wouldn't be me." To top off her wonderful (horrible) acting, she shed a few fake, invisible tears, and wiped at her cheeks. After a few prolonged seconds, she finally cracked up again, giving Gabe a few solid pats on the back. Really, this girl was terrible at keeping a serious face.

Seb got up, following his best friend as they made their way with the others. He faintly heard Gabe in the distance talking to Annabelle and in response her cracking up, but instead of stopping to wait, he continued on, catching up with Paeyton and Oliver as they made their way back to the house. "Good to know I'm not the only one ready to leave." He started, falling in line with the two. He turned to look at Paeyton, a questioning look on his face. "And what's up with you, I know you didn't want to swim, but I thought you'd be all over Lucas. Seems like Audrey did your job for you." Sebby looked back ahead as if his question was completely normal. He didn't really know how jealous Pae got, so he didn't understand any damage his question could have done.

"Okay," Gabe told Annabelle. He was very confused though. Was she trying to be serious, or just making this into a joke? He couldn't tell. "Would you know who this eccentric lady is?" Gabe then paused. He was about to ask something else, but just waved it off. "Okay, whatever, just don't ride on my back again," he said. He started to head on back to the beach house. He then stopped. "Hey, what about the others? Lucas, Ales, Tom and Audrey?" He asked. "Aren't they coming?"

"Yes, of course your majesty," Anna replied, her voice dripping with sarcasm. As she walked back towards the beach house, she couldn't help but roll her eyes.

What was Gabe's deal? He was acting like a girl on her period. She was merely trying to have a good water fight, not become the boy's next bride.

Entering the inside of the house, Nat smiled contently, the warmth of the carpet making her toes tingle. She walked up the stairs, wrapping her towel around her hair to avoid dripping water... Well, everywhere.

Nat hopped into the shower, washing the brine from her back. She was covered in sand, not to mention salty ocean water and a thin layer of sticky sunscreen. Feeling squeaky clean, she hopped back out, heading for her room. Now, for that nap...

Gabe decided to tell the people still at the beach that they were going back up to the house. "Hey guys, hurry it up, we are going back to the house." He then ran back up. Once he was upstairs, he heard Annabelle having a shower. That would be a good idea for him as well. He went to his room, and took a nice quick little shower, getting rid of the sand that had clung to him. Once he finished, he dried off, and got changed into a red shirt and tan shorts. He hopped onto the laptop, and started browsing the web. He liked the fact that his laptop had it's own Wi-Fi. It was costly, but it worked. He would wait until later for everyone else, and see what would happen tonight with Ales.

Paeyton looked down after hearing Seb's comment, she couldn't blame him, he didn't really know what was really going on between her and Lucas. It hurt her more to know that what he said was true, she wasn't spending as much time with Lucas as she probably should be. Maybe Audrey did notice that and stepped right in between them, she felt emotional, and Paeyton hated crying in front of people. "I'll meet you guys at the house, I forgot something" she turned around and headed back.

Ales groaned and jokingly mumbled, "Party pooper," following Gabe in. The girl glanced back at Paeyton with her all-knowing eyes, feeling bad for her. After a moment of composure she smiled, turning left to go to into her room. After half an hour of organizing and getting her clothes ready, she took a shower, scrubbing every inch so she could have the blissful luxury of feeling very clean. When she stepped out she changed into something new, ready for dinner. Something... nicer in case they wanted to go out. It crossed her mind that they might have already gone without her.
