Just brings me back to what I'd said before... Why even give you a phone that can access the internet if that's such an issue for them? They could very easily get you a shitty one that just makes texts and calls. They exist still. It's very illogical.


No, I think we'd all have liked parents that didn't take out their issues and aggressions on us in any format.

So fear? They want you to fear them? Cos not giving any real reason as to why you can't do something and expecting you to not do it regardless, means that they want fear from you, not respect. Cos respect is a two way street and by not providing reasons for their rules means they have no respect for you.

Actions speak louder than words. Works for all situations, just like you can say sorry a million times, but it means nothing until actions reflect remorse and change for the better. Your parents can say they want respect until they are blue in the face but if they are acting like you say they are that isn't what they will get or actually really want. Fear and intimidation is not respect. It won't need to be said when it's shown so blantently.
