Brec finished giving the female customer her drink before calling next. She was closing pushing the clear button on the cash register before looking up and seeing a tall young man. "Hello stranger that come's here almost all the time but I keep on forgetting your name..." She said chuckling before looking at the screen then back at him. "Let me guess...Vanilla Bean Frappe?" She asked him smiling at him.

She accepts half of her stuff, but does not argue about him carrying that darn canvas. She smiles up at him as she starts to her place, "I like Jax. Seems so casual. My name is Danielle but I'm begging you! Call me Dani!" She can tell that he isn't rich or anything but she could care less. In fact she found most of her peers to be insufferable. 'So where were you headed before you decide to change course to help little red?" She asked

Ava nodded. She thin grinned after hearing his flirt and typed his nimber in her phone. "Well i'm glad that you do. Maybe we can go out to eat tonight and discuss your schedule? Or not i just need an excuse to hang out with you."


Riley watches fascinated at her mother's phone. She took it upon herself to type in random numbers making ava take longer to finish saving his name in her phone.

Brec looked serious before breaking out into a laugh. "Alright alright SCOTT...like I would forget your name" She told him smiling. "You order the same thing all the time...don't you ever want to try something different?" She asked him. "And you already know how much it costs..." She told him.

"I have work tonight." He bit his lip and shrugged, "I like breakfast. Do you?" He asked seemingly randomly. He was grinning and he ruffled Riley's hair a bit. He waited for her answer.

Though they had only just met this girl was already making him feel like a good friend. It's a nice change from the people he's usually around. He is sure to make a reminder to call her Dani as she had stressed it coaxing another chuckle from the older male. He was definitely thankful for having been run into. "No where in particular." He tells her truthfully not having been completely sure of what it is he was going to do today. "I find work around town during the day."

"Yeah breakfast is just as yummy." She smiles. "so tomorrow?" Ava watches as he ruffles riley's hair. "You seem like such a family oriented person. It's sweet."


Riley giggles and latches onto his wrist with both her hands and hits his hand over and over again as if she were playing the drums. Finally riley let out a laugh and continued to interact with him.

Brec blushed looking at Scott. "You and your "smooth" talk..." She said smiling grabbing the money putting it in the cash register then waited for the receipt to print out. Once it was done she ripped it off giving it to him then started working on his drink where there was an opening for people to see what is happening to their drink. "And yes you have improved a lot! When you first came in you were really quiet and didn't say anything! Now look at you...making jokes and flirting with me..." She told him while putting the ingredients together. She put the lid on the put it on the blender and went back to cash register to take the next persons order while Scott's drink was still blending.

Dani felt at ease with Jax. It was a rare feeling with anybody she met anymore, "Do you have a hard time finding work?" Then realizing that what she just asked was very personal and rude she adds, "You don't have to tell me! That was so rude! I"m sorry." She ran a hand through her messy hair.

Jax wasn't quite surprised by the question and doesn't find it to be rude. He does smile though and shakes his head. "Don't worry, it isn't a hard question or anything." His smile slowly fades halfway. "Because of certain issues I tend to come in contact with, I am only allowed to work temporarily..nothing permanent." Knowing this will most likely cause more questions he tries to think of more to say or how to explain it. "I'm not the best guy to hire, I guess." Shrugging at his idiotic response, he attempts to keep the conversation moving forward or away from the topic all together. "You're working to become an artist?" He questions actually interested in the idea, let alone her.

Dani glanced at Jax and smiled. She didn't want to pry and she appreciated the honesty he offered her. At his question she nodded, "I love art! It's my passion! My parent's think it's a worthless profession. But I don't understand how something someone loves can be seen as worthless..." She bites her lip, realizing that might have sounded a bit silly.

Brec chuckled taking the customers order then doing a money exchange before walking back over starting the female customers smoothie. She put the ingredients together in a clean empty blender then put the lid on and let it blend. She looked at Scott dramatically look her up and down then reached over punching him in the arm. "You are fraternizing with an employee while she is at work..." She told him before taking his blended drink and grabbing a cup pouring it in. She made sure all of the content could fit in the cup like she always did then grabbed a top putting it on. She reached down grabbing a can of whipped cream shaking it before starting to fill the opening of the top with it. When it wasn't coming out she threw it away before walking over bending down and grabbing another can from below. She didn't know that her ass was in the air for Scott to just admire. She got up and walked back over shaking the can before filling the opening of the top this time the cream coming out. She smiled then put a sleeve of the cup then gave it to Scott. "Your Vanilla Bean Frappe is ready..." She told him holding the drink out for him to take.

Scott had chuckled when she scolded him and when she bent over, he tried very hard not to look. But he failed. He couldn't really help it but while she was handing over his drink, he couldn't quite meet her eyes. He made her the same offer as he had the past two days, "On you're break stop by the parlor. If I don't have a cliente we can hang out."

As Jax listens it is a bit silly yet meaningful. He shrugs. "Sounds like they've never felt an intense need to do something or to create and share your passion with others." By now he's speaking freely with this girl. It was like talking with your best friend, calm and relaxed. "I sure hope you don't consider quitting either. No reason to waste perfectly good talent." Even though he hasn't seen any of her artwork he hopes to eventually be given the chance.

She glances at his and bites her lip. "Well...I just got this project that I have to paint a portrait. I can't think of any good subjects." She tilts her head, "And if you let me hire you as my model for the project I'd be really happy!" She didn't suggest hiring him because of his situation but because she would never have a model without somehow paying them for their time. "I think you'd make a really good subject!"

Brec looked at Scott then smiled nodding. "Today my break is going to be a little late but I won't forget about you..." She told him. "It's a date..." She said smiling then winked returning back to the customers smoothie. She took it off the blender and poured it in a medium sized cup before calling the ladies name. When she arrived she gave her the drink and a sleeve so the drink wont be cold in her hands. "I'll see you in a few hours..." She told Scott smiling and gave him a wink before going back to work taking orders and making drinks.

Jax has to pause in order to take in what she has asked of him. 'A model..?' He thinks and stays quiet for a moment before looking back at her with a raised brow. "A model as in posing and all that..? Why, out of all the people in this city, choose me?" His eyes were formed from pure curiosity and the idea of her paying him for being such a thing gives him slight hope. "If you want a scruffy, street rat like me then I guess, how do I say no?" His head shakes from side to side, his smile not far behind. "A good subject, huh? Wait til I tell Phoebe." He laughs lightly.

Scott chuckled and went back to work. He already had a client waiting for him. At work he was known as a grizzly bear of a manager. Soft and cuddly once you get past the teeth and claws. He waited for Brec to get on break.

Dani smiled and shrugged, "I don't know. Never painted a guy with tattoos before. That'll be cool!" At the mention of Phoebe, Dani tilts her head with curious eyes, "Who's that?" Dani asked and then smiled, "I'm butting in again."


She was interested to know because he seemed amused about telling Phoebe.

"Well I have plenty of 'em." He chuckles glancing down at his fully covered left arm. It would be a challenge alright but nothing he thinks she can't handle. As she asks about Phoebe he smiles. "She's the reason I was infront of the school, she's my little sister."

Her eyes widen and she gets really excited, "You have a little sister? I bet she's so cute! I have an older brother...but he's just rude." She smiles. "Do you think I can meet her? That's probably weird cause I'm a stranger but I would really love too!" She bites her lip and brushes her hair out of her eyes but it falls right back.

The sudden excitement is outstanding considering how out of the blue it occurs. "Ha, that's no fun." He smiles at her describing her older brother. "If you want to, I don't see why not." Adjusting the canvas in his hands, he then looks over. "She's ten so don't expect anything too cute. Ten is the age where the cuteness wears off." He jokes playfully and watches the stray hair go right back to their original places. "You can walk with me to pick her up if you'd like."

"Sure! But I think I should rid us of my junk first!" She said, noticing him shift the canvas. "And any kid is cute! I mean...they are so innocent!" She smiles. She stops at an expensive looking apartment building. Surprisingly, she looks at it in slight distaste. She sighs and gestures for him to come with her. A doorman lets them through.

After the hours passed Brec was finally able to get her break in. She saw the other Batista enter and waved at him before heading to the back taking off her apron hanging it up. She grabbed her bag then waved at her boss telling him she will be back when her break is done. She walked out the back room and exited the cafe then walked to the parlor. It wasn't that far, it took her 10 minutes by foot to get there. She took out her phone and her earbuds putting them in her ears and continued walking. She was humming to the song God's Whisper by Raury. She loved that song and would play it on repeat. She crossed the light and walked over to the parlor. She put her hand on the door pulling it hearing the the little bell ring with alerted the person that someone entered. She paused her song taking out her earbuds putting her phone away. "Scott...you in here?" She called out. When she started walking more towards the back she heard the music get louder and louder.

The other tattooists decided to blast Bad Girls Club by Falling in Reverse and Scott couldn't hear himself think. He was trying to draw a design a client wanted tomorrow. His door was the only one open, so that a walk in would know he's free. He was biting his lip as he concentrated on the design. He had no clue if Brec was actually coming today.
