[Labyrinth Land] LL Questions and Concerns

Yeah of course it's okay. Why else would I drop in like this if I weren't?
Pm'd him like last night

Because I've been wanting to play or run a game of this
Welcome, Ixacise. Yes, He did message me last night about the game. I asked that he introduce himself like so.

Just confused since there was no mention of it until just now. And Dietaku had just explained majordomo was the vizier stand in. So I was slightly confused. Anywho, welcome to the game.

I am totally new to PBP. I should wait for everyone to respond at least once before reposting to the first phrase thread? Or is it more fluid than that?

So long as we don't speed through pages leaving others in the dust, we're fine. Just as a general rule of thumb there. Dietaku is crazy fast word machine, so she'll keep up with anything. So yes, feel free to post again if you wish.

Personally speaking, more than three sentences would be appreciated. Although we don't have a minimal word count, that's just me. Also, Sir East was speaking to Maharaja as much as he was to the other landmakers so a response would be nice.

Yes, I started typing, got distracted, and then hit post. You had written yours while I was away and then I realized mine was way too short. Probably take me a few posts to get up to speed, but I'm planning to write more in general.

Feel free to skip my turn for now if you guys want to. It's generally going to be a busy few days so I won't have a lot of opportunities to write a reply.

Being Dietaku is suffering.

I'd like to rp it out a bit with the rest of the group sans busy pow, but if everyone really wants to burn along then sure. As for options of what we can do, we can send out scout followers with the doc to scout the dungeon in advance. As well as have 2-3 people use the wandering tables for potential gains. I don't know if there is anything else we could do mechanically at this point due to limited funds as Dtaku said.

I want to make at least one more post before we roll out. OOC I agree with what Action Replay said, let's send The Docta to scout and do some wandering.

I think we can also each acquire one common item that has a cost of 2 or less (2 being our Lifestyle level).

Edit: I will make my one more post today (or tomorrow at the latest).

If I read the rules correctly Items don't cost anything you either do or don't have the lifestyle level to acquire them.

That looks right. You can also buy more, or rarer items, using MG.

Is getting items a free action?

Also can I do a scout roll for the mountain dungeon we'd be entering?

I believe that acquiring items is a free action during the Kingdom and End Phases, yes. As for scouting, you could hire scouts to do so for you. However, you going out yourself would be unwise, I think.

You COULD. The issue being, you have so few citizens, that I think it would be unwise to do so at this juncture. If you get higher population, more followers, and better stats for the Kingdom, I think that such a plan would be more feasible.

Edit: I also updated the Codex Labyrinth with a few additions to those interested in LL's theology which doesn't consist of mad ramblings.

Edit 2: @Ixacise I'm not trying to push you towards any one option. I'm just trying to caution you that doing so probably will mean that you get a lot of dead bodies, and not much else for your trouble.

Hilarious stuff, DT. Also we do have at most 56 citizens. Just a step removed from a hobo palace so there is that. Will chime in with a post later on. Focusing on other stuff I owe first.

I think 5 hapless fools brave citizens being sent to poke the entrance will be useful. Especially since I have an item that increases my command result by 1

Maybe so, but I think it wouldn't be bad to try and get to know our only ally and neighbor a bit more. At least it wouldn't be a waste of citizens (of ours) that way should something go wrong for whatever reason. Doing so would give the ST more to do more than cough politely while doing an Alfred impersonation.

Besides, it's like a bargain sale of ninja services.

The population is gonna die off during the dungeon crawl might as well get acquainted with the causalities
