Fantasy Kingdom's Vow (Opening)

She decided to not play safe anymore. She started to jump above him and land behind him, sending sneak attacks. Later on, she ditched her sword and let's it slide and takes two rogue knives out and starts fighting with those as her primary weapon. She's nearly invisible.

Eden tried hard to focus now, her knives were almost impossible to dodge. He took a hit to his side and stumbled back a bit. She was good, too good for him.


"Pretty sneaky, huh?" Eden knew he had to act fast before it was all over. He rushed again at the queen, knocking one of her knives out of her hands, but her counter was too much for him. He couldn't see what was attacking him. Her knife slashed at his arm.


He was trying to focus, but each attack came faster than the last. The queen finally plunged a knife into his arm, while adding a punch to the stomach forcing him to drop the sword and fall to his back. "Ugh, f-fuck..." He rolled back on his stomach and reached for his sword, his other hand soaking up blood from his side.

Veronica stepped towards his sword and placed her foot on it. She picks it up and starts twisting it. "Sorry you lost. It's really not a surprise." The villagers who were surrounding the two fighters, applauding their queen.

Ayame ran up to Eden. She helped him up.


"Are you okay?" She asked him. Ayame pressed on his wound. Suddenly it dawned upon her what this meant. She lost and so did he. Her eyes widened. The wager.. someone was going to force themselves upon her. Her lip trembled.

Eden winced and tried to stand, happy that Ayame was there to help him. He was bleeding heavily, and not just from one place. He looked around, and then to her. "Im sorry, I tried my best." He leaned his weight on her, to weak to stand. Eden felt awful for the way he had represented his kingdom. And yet, he cared less for that then the fact that his best friend was about to go through something he would never want to even think about happening. He frowned and turned back to the king. "You, ah, won..." He said, weakly, then looking down at his feet.

"Of course I did! Did you expect me to lose?!" She chuckled loudly. "I don't know how your kingdom still stands strong." She notified a guard to fetch the list of punishments. The guard hurried his way. "Your highness" He said while giving her the list. "Since your little girlfriend's punishment is set, you could pick yours. The gauntlet is currently being cleaned, so it's unavailable at the moment." She unravels the scroll that read,


1. Become a palace servant for life


2. Clean the stables until the Queen's liking


3. Pluck each nail off of each finger and toe


4. Live with the lowest class for three days. (Quite gruesome and disgusting)

Eden looked at the list and then to Ayame. "How can you expect me to chose?!" He could barely stand, he just wanted to lay down. "Just... I.. I don't know." He then looked up, locking eyes with the queen. "Anything that won't make me lose anymore blood I guess." He sighed and started to feel lightheaded from his loss of blood.

"You're running out of time. I heard that the gauntlet might be finished its cleaning session soon." She flashed a wicked smile. She pointed at the knight who was by his side. "You! Sir Arthur take her into your own home. I won't allow any sexual content in my castle."

Eden almost fell as Ayame as taken. He watched her go with a frown. "Alright, Alright..." He sighed again. "I'll clean your stables."

"Wise choice." She smirked. "Evie. Take him away." She commanded her maid. "U-Uh your highness, it's Emma..." The maid corrected. Veronica shot a death glare at her maid. "Too bad. You're Evie if you're under my roof." Veronica hopped back onto her horse and yield it to the other side. "I expect it to be spotless." And off she goes to the castle.

Eden watched her go and then turned to the maid, offering a slight smile before the sharp pain returned. "Where's the stable?" He asked politely.

"U-Uh, it's at the castle. Past the gardens. If you'll follow me." The maid said shyly. Veronica placed her horse back into its stable. She smiled at the black horse. "Would you like an apple, Augustus?" She asked gently at the black male horse. It seemed like she had a heart after all.

Eden nodded and limped after her. He stopped after a while. "Please, give me a moment." He ripped off his sleeve and rolled up his shirt to where he could see the stab wound. He wrapped his sleeve around it tightly, hoping it would stop the bleeding. HE then continued after her.

"Here's the stables..." Emma said to the kind knight. "If you need anything, I'll be in main room." She bowed and walked away from the stables. Veronica smoothed the horse's mane. Augustus stood quietly in his stable, eating the apple that was in Veronica's hand. Veronica's bright smiled could've lite up the entire kingdom.

Eden stopped, shocked to see such a smile on the queen. His head tilted to the side, and he stood there watching, silently. She really seemed to care for her horse. From what he had seen so far in the queen he would never have guessed she would have been so kind or caring to any creature. Eden started to feel better with the smile, almost enchanted in it.

Veronica's smiled started to disappear. "Augustus, how is it up in heaven? You didn't meet anyone else did you?" She asked in a worried tone. She let go of her horse and started to play with her ring on her left ring finger.

"Augustus?" Eden whispered to himself. He watched the queen's majestic movements before he finally spoke up. "H-Hey, where should I start?"

Veronica's sad expression changed into her bitch face. She snapped back to face whoever was there. "Start with Penny's stables." She pointed at a brown horse. "Leave Aug-..er..my horse's stables alone." She walked out of the stables, passing Eden.

"Yeah, sure." He sighed, she had seemed so nice and had changed so fast. He made his way to what he assumed was Penny's stable and started to clean. (yeah... you get the picture I guess)

Veronica stopped by the garden maze, without her maids following her. She sat down on one of the marble benches. Thinking to herself about the past she's had. Dealing with a ruthless husband, mourning over her dead first love and marrying a grown man at the age of fourteen. She continues to stare at her ring which was on her left ring finger.

After about two hours of strain full, hard and dirty work Eden thought he was finally finished. The stables were nearly spotless. He collapsed in a bale of hay, right outside the stables, exhausted.


(damn, just read that... thats really depressing. I thought this rp really had potential...)

Veronica has fallen asleep on the marble bench for nearly two hours. She wakes up wondering why she was out in the open alone. She hurries over the stables to see Augustus and to possibly take him out to the market, and have her dress like a commoner. She notices Eden. "You know, I've never caught your name." She says with an eyebrow raised.

Eden quickly jumped out of the hay bale, blushing to be caught off guard like that. "Ow..." He felt his cut reopening with the harsh movement but ignored it for now. He brushed himself off and looked up at the queen. "Eden... Eden Smithe is the name."

"Hmph. You're done for the day. Go wash up. Since it's getting pretty late, you can stay in the guest bedroom." Veronica turns away and walks out of the stables and stops right after she's out of the stables. She takes a deep breath and crosses her arms.
