Keychain 176-180

Hm. This could go...just about anywhere.

"Secret, we need to talk about this whole corrupted-Solar thing."

"Secret, I'm...I'm your Lunar Mate."

"Secret, my sister's a little shy, but she wants me to sound you out and see if you're interested."

"Secret, did Nova do what I think she did? Do you...do you need to talk about it?"

"Secret, are you okay? You seem sorta depressed."

"Secret, I'm actually the Silver Prince in disguise. It's time to come home, kid."

"Secret, I'm carrying the Kukla's baby, and I want you to be its godparent."

"Secret, has anyone told you about...uh...the mospids and the agatae?"

"No, Secret, I AM your father!"

...Yeah, I dunno. I suspect it'll be nowhere near as dramatic as anything we can come up with.

I'd expect Secret is worried about being expelled from the circle, as she wasn't able to 'pull her weight' or somesuch. Marena would be there to tell her not to worry about it. Secret's been having confidence issues since the beginning after all, and other than the fight against the dragon guardian her record isn't very good. Marena can read people, and would be aware of it after the battle.

Secret trying the spiky hair and giving up on it might represent how much she thought she'd improved, only to face defeat again and thus 'give up', putting her hair down again.

It probably is something completely different.

All right, this has been bugging me for weeks.

Is that a white patch of hair, or just highlights?!

I believe it is the sheen of the hair given that it changes sides of her head, relative to the, I presume, source of light.

"Secret, has anyone told you about...uh...the mospids and the agatae?"
An Archeopteryx-thing doing it with a demonic wasp?! MY EYES!!!

what?
Body language. A character whose design and posture is solid and symmetrical - like Marena - comes off as centered and self-confident. A character with a lopsided stance or appearance, on the other hand, - like Secret - appears weaker, more vulnerable and less certain of themselves. You don't tend to recognize it consciously, but that's how it works most of the time.

Other things are a factor too, of course.
Like Neil Gaiman's works, for example.
