Superman switched on his communicator. He was pretty happy that they had such a big team to work with. His thoughts however went to the moment between Serena and Will and he saw something that he never thought he would see on Will. Aggression, hatred and there were hints of jealousy there too. He silently prayed that the mission would go well, if Rao allows it anyway."All set out here." He said to them with a thumbs up."Lexi, Sky, you two love birds ready for this?" He teased the pair playfully.

Rai burst out laughing at Superman's 'love birds' comment. Oh if only the knew! Her laughter rang through the communicator but she said nothing. Sky hadn't told her she could tell anyone yet about them... but then again he did kind of kiss her on the cheek earlier... but humans also has a much higher threshold of intemacy on a friend-to-friend basis. Isroh himself even bust out laughing.


OOoooooh Rai. She after y- AHH! Isroh yelped as Rai shot him a deathglare.

She generally preferred flying on her own, but for a extended flight with a mission at the end, she knew it was better to take the Javelin.


"It's actually fun to make things for the monkeys to steal and to see their surprise when it fades." She replied to Lexi.


She glanced back and flashed Will a friendly smile.

23 lands hard in the streets of Gotham.


After a several mile leap his weight and force causes the pavement to explode.


Cars slam on their brakes horns blaring...and one of them careens into the crater crashing into 23 who responds with a high pitched yelp and a reflexive backwards swing sending the car flipping end over end high hundreds of feet into the air. People scream,cars empty,and the young creature panics. Emitting a high pitched howl 23 sprints forward flailing madly,cars and people are struck and launched anything beneath his feet becomes crushed. In his blind attempt to escape he slams into the train rail support knocking the pillar to the ground in pieces and collapsing a portion of the tracks...

Skyler wanted to say something, but saved the comment. "We're the support team Will." He did not like the fact that Will was sad, so he tried to lighten the mood. "Oh, about that trip I took with Rai. Thanks." He looked at the board, smiling. "Soooo... I think this does... this." The javelin started to speed through the platform, the main hangar doors opening. Flying out, Skyler put in the cordonates towards Tibet, specifically, to where he knew they would have a clear view of the pass. "Oh, this is a question for everybody : Is it good that I drank a small bottle of whiskey? I mean, the vission's getting blurry, a little."

Superman sprung into action and flew forward, fists out. As he easily caught up with the javelins, he heard Sky on the communicator and gave a light laugh, clearly amused by the inquiry."In hindsight maybe not but you being sober is out of character." He said. His ears then picked up a crash. It was faint but distinct and very disturbing."Trouble, United states....sounds like it's in Gotham!"

23 continued blindly flailing for a few more moments before he leapt into the air,unfourtunatly heading downtown.he smashes through the 43rd floor of a nearby skyscraper and crashes through several floors before leaping again carving a hole in that skyscraper and landing in another griping it by on of the four main support beams he leaps again taking a section of the support pillar with him,this time landing on the roof of Wayne enterprises

Will looked up, thinking back before remembering his little 'switch-a-roo' in Rai's lugage. A smile crossed his face and a light laughter resounded from him. She looked good didn't she? I thought white would be a nice change of pace. He glanced over to see Rai with a content grin on her face. She was pissed when he'd first done it, but she was thanking him now. Best. Vacation. Ever! Rai chimed/


You never told me where that new tattoo came from... the one that never goes away. oh and sky... isn't flying drunk... kinda bad?


Rai blushed, well Will already knew about it. Demon stuff. I'll tell you later.


Rai then heard superman talking about the whole 'trouble in gotham' things.


Nothing we can do about it. Sups, you wanna take that fight while we do this? We'll get the generator down and hopefully by then your fight will be over?

He glared."Everyone, don't go anywhere near Gotham! It's ground zero!" He said and put his fists forward, speeding towards 23 and grit his teeth, attempting to slam into him.

Sentinel shot Skylar a dirty look about his whiskey crack. She opened her mouth for a "seriously?" response when Superman reported a disturbance in Gotham.


"How bad, Supes?" She asked twisting in her seat to look in the general direction of the city. "Should we take a look? We should be able to catch up with our teams later."

"I am diverting to Gotham as well," spoke Lexi, diverting her thrusters and setting a course for Gotham.


"I tapped into the satellite and camera feed. Its a mess there. I'll help the civilians, you kill that monster-thing," spoke Lexi to Superman.

23 doesn't see superman,but he hears him at the last second...to no effect however he was moving far to fast.


Superman slammed into the massive creature who lets out a startled yelp as he is taken off his feet

"It sure was. Next time, Barbados?" Skyler smiled as well hearing Will talk. He heard too from Superman about the disturbance. He decided to leave Sentinel to do her job. "Hey, if the police pull us over, I'm not drunk, that's just how my breath smells, got it?" Blushing a little, Skyler thought about the vacation, but quickly shook his head to stay concentrated.

Superman slammed into 23 to throw him off of Wayne Tower and heard his cousin over the com's."No Lexi, I need you to stay with the team and disable that weapon, you have the know-how! Jade and I are enough! We'll be fine!" He said and flew towards 23's location, searching through the rubble for him.

"Superman. You got a monorail, train-track busted - with two-hundred people coming by," spoke Lexi, soon arriving in Gotham.


"You also had, beastie here, smash through the 43rd floor of a skyscraper - with its support beams missing," she added. "Total death-toll, if I go to Tibet - will be around one-thousand. So, sorry cousin, I can catch up there."


She soon made her first landing at the demolished tracks, soon lifting up the busted tracks - utilizing her quick-drying cement-bombs to refuse the structure together. Holding it in place, long enough for the monorail to pass safely, people intact. She then contacted the Transportation Department, warning of one one monorail-track have been damaged and unsafe.


"Alright - mono-rail safe. Heading for the skyscrapper. No support beam ones, might cause the 38rd floor to collapse. If no cascading effect happens, we might call ourselves lucky then."

The rubble explodes as 23 tosses it off and he shouts a terrible bellow. Then he charges superman with a powerful shoulder dash the ground exploding beneath his feet with the force of his footfalls "I'll smash you mean man"

"But Lexi, I-" Boom! The rubble exploded and out came the creature. He turned and got struck with the tackle, flying back as the creature took him with him."You first.." He said through grit teeth and caught the arm, using the momentum to spin in a half circle to throw the creature off. If succeeded, his eyes glowed and he sent a heat vision blast at his back for some extra damage.

The beast howls in pain as the lasers collide with his back but he holds his ground turning and catching the laser stream in a cupped hand his eyes narrow In rage...and two more large arms spring out of his ribcage!?!


Using the lower arms he springs forward with frightening speed each of the four arms swiping at supes

"How are you doing Sups?" asked Lexi, as she soon headed to repair the damaged support beams, on a Gotham skyscraper - it was difficult work, using her plasma torch and cement-bombs to welding as much as she could together.


Another note sent to the resident manager - that the skyscraper should be evacuated, due to likely structural failure.
