Rai slung Skylar's bag over her shoulder, carrying it for him as she slid off Grimora. She glanced around at the rather nice building, feeling pretty out of place. Her mate was in a suit and tie and she looked like she was ready to go fight with some vikings. She watched as Sky played the 'prince charming' card in a smug expression. She waved to the secretary as they proceeded up stairs. Alright. So what's upstairs? She asked, once they were out of ear-shot of the secretary. Her scythes appeared at her waist, making metalic sounds against her boots.
Isroh nods, following Robin closely to her side. Maybe we'll get lucky and shit wont hit the fan a- He heard a comotion further up the way. Spoke too soon. Isroh groaned, deciding to investigate the sound of screaming.

Robin grimaced when she heard the screaming. "I've learned not to say things like that. We have to get moving." She said with a small glare before she sprinted down the street towards the screaming.


Scarecrow leaned against the wall, polishing his glove's razor-sharp needles and humming "Oogie Boogie's Song" from the Nightmare before Christmas. He seemed totally Oblivious to the terror around him, or if he did notice, he didn't really care. He heard running feet and he looked up, grinning wider than a pumpkin on Halloween. "Perfect timing, heroes. Darling, let's have some fun." He jumped behind the counter and stabbed the woman behind it through the neck, making her cough up blood while she was still trying to scream.

"Intel,run diagnostics"Adam groans


"Armor integrity at 78%,energy reserves at 94%,vitals normal...you seem to have sustained injury to your left knee and right shoulder,applying treatment."


Intel speaks to Adam in a soft yet sure voice


"Scan for organics within the rubble"


He says his voice much calmer now that the painkillers have begun to take effect


"Scan complete...no human signatures detected"


Adam grins in his suit


"Perfect,reroute all power to hydrolics,thrusters,and kinetic dampeners"he commands


The rubble shifts and groans as he pushes it aside,his thrusters explode a blue flame and launch him at full speed through the rubble,the kinetic dampeners crackle and pop as he smashes through but he emerges out of the top with a massive

Will walked out of the Javelin... but couldn't go much further, frozen in fear of the flashing media cameras in his face. He was like a deer in the headlights for a good twenty seconds, all the press's questions going right past him as they tried to pry answers for menial questions. One girl brushed past his arm, put an arm around Will's waist and meant to take a selfie. Will freaked, pushing the girl away much harder than what would have been acceptable and backed up. The girl had yelped and fallen square on her behind and was now yelling at Will for being rude, Will on the other hand just couldn't take it anymore. He turned slipping away to go find their source of trouble, without without Johnny.


Soon he was standing infront of the crumbled building, scratching his head as to what could have brought it down.

Robin grimaced when she heard the screaming. "I've learned not to say things like that. We have to get moving." She said with a small glare before she sprinted down the street towards the screaming.

His demonic intrests were stroked, Robin may want to stay a good two or three feet away from him for the moment. He was still young and controling every impulse wasn't quite a perfected art yet. Well aren't you one fugly freakshow. Isroh growls lowly, thorny vines begining to grow on the ground around him, their crimson stems shining bright as black flowers sprouted from the razor-like stalks.

Superman meanwhile had put up a hand, smiling nervously as the media pelted him with questions, some of them even irrelevant to his visit here. He cringed when a camera flashed in his face and he blinked to clear the spots. Then Will was gone. "Demon Hunter?" He called out. This media attention must have been certainly stressful on him. He frowned in worry, just great...great way to start a patrol in Metropolis. He just hoped Will was not hurt. He put a hand out in front of the cameras."Could you excuse me?" He said before flying off to try and find Will.


Meanwhile, a shadow was watching the television and caught the sight of Superman. The man paused the TV and leaned forward."Well whaddya know..."

Demon hunter watched the other, digging his heel into the dirt. He blinked, deciding that if he were a villain, he would have just flown off or would have attacked the dozens of people here. He didn't know if he was a hero or not, but he did know that he kinda demolished a building. Hey buddy. You break it, you help clean it, ok? Will deadpanned, hands in his pockets, finding no need for his whip. The break it, you help clean it up rule kinda came from his mom. Anything he broke during a fight he would often stay behind and help clear some of the larger debris rather than rudely leaving it to civilians. No one hurt? He asked, pushing a rather large piece of stone wall out of the street. Will then heard superman calling him. Down here. I think he's friendly. Just a bit destructive.

Skyler laughed. "Lil' John never ceases to amuse me. But what're y-" He stopped once he saw Brian at the window. Opening the large window, he sighed. "Where were you when I ordered take out? What's up?" Skyler said, quickly closing all surveillance footage and logging out of his computer. It was password protected, and Sky crossed his hands at his chest, looking at Rai as to say 'Don't tell him a word.'

Brian watched Rai as she was taking a while to let him in, and finally Skylar opened the window allowing Brian to drift into the office area and land with a light thud of his boots hitting the floor. Shrugging lazily at Sky's questionable joke, "Sorry not a messenger bird, or delivery bird for that matter. Just spotted you two amidst...whatever that was going on those rooftops earlier. Nothing better to do so I thought I'd drop in." With his wings folding inwards against his back he took a spin around to look at the large office and the two looking rather...dressed up. Not only that but both were looking at him as their main source of attention, quietly no less. The man snapped his fingers, "Oh. Did I just interrupt a date or something?" Now he leaned sideways against the nearby bookshelf an amused smirk across his face as he made himself comfortable.

Mateship didn't mean teleptathy, but she knew exactly what Skylar's look was all about. With a nodd, Rai waved a hand as she picked up another book.Not interrupting. We good to go back to the watch tower? Rai asked, setting it down. We could probably order a pizza, watch some netflix and pick on Isroh. She offered, not really planning on anything else big to happen.

"This is Overload, to all League Members, please make your way to the HQ," spoke Lexi, over the League' comm-network. "We have a Code Orange Incident. And it would be best we don't wait for too long, since the results can be bad. Overload out."


Code Orange, or in terms - something bad is in the making, and best to solve the problem quickly, before something blew up.

Superman blinked and descended down towards the pair."If you're sure he's a friendly." He said, a little unsure himself. He looked over Adam for a moment, not sure what side he was on. He didn't want to assume but the building he was in looked half past destroyed. Before he replied, the communicator in his ear rang out. A tiny grin quirked his mouth up and he put a finger to his ear."Superman to Overload, DH and I are on our way, we just ran into a minor development. " he said. "We'll be right there."

"Oh yeah, a date in my office. That would be- Wait, for how much did you watch us on the rooftop?" Skyler moved from his place and got close to Brian, arms still crossed against his chest. The silence was broken by their communicator. "...Green Arrow here. We'll be there right away." He turned towards Rai. "You heard that. Luckily, I had a mini teleporter here. Just need to." Pulling out a book, the bookcase opened, revealing the teleporter. Smiling, Skyler took the bag from Rai and stepped on it. "After I go, you come too, one by one. I'll see you on the bridge."


And with that said, he started to fade away. In a few seconds, he was already at the tower. He ran to the changing room, ditching his formal 'clothes and getting his outfit. Easily walking to where Lexi was, he started to ponder what he discovered about the intruder. 'He looked a lot like Roy... but he doesn't have a son... I think. But why is he stealing from us?' Those were some questions that boggled his mind. Before he knew it, he was facing Lexi. "Lexi. Good to see you. What's up?" Green said, flashing his grin to hide his concern.

An ironic twist, by the fact - of her being a good and female version of Lex Luthor; she even had the stance of the former villain. It was a rather, well, good sight - of what Lex Luthor could have been, if he had given up his obsession with Superman and tried to do some good with his life.


"No, really. This is some serious stuff, unless you want to hear this sober," she added.

"Aww, Don't be so bitter. How's the Katsaridaphobia? Still afraid of itty," he cocked his head to the left as he took a step forward. "Bitty," he tilted his head in the other direction and took another step, "Creepy," another step closer to her. "Crawlies?"


Robin felt the terror begin to constrict her chest as Scarecrow got closer, talking about her biggest fear. She gripped her Bo staff tightly and tensed, ready to strike out at him if he got closer. Her breathing quickened as her heart rate increased, and she felt her heart pounding in her rib cage.


Scarecrow's needles clicked against each other as he wiggled his fingers tauntingly at Robin. "Relax," he whispered, "it'll hurt less if you don't tense!"

Rai fell quiet. Hey she'd kept her part of that deal, if Condor knew somthing, she had nothing to do with that. Then the transmission came. That works too. Netflix is overrated anyway. She joked watching as Skylar opened his little teleporter. Damn! You're more mobile than I am and I use the rift! Rai then realized she hadn't quite explained rift travel yet. It wasn't necessarily teleporting even though thats what it looked like. The rift was the blank area between hell and earth, it had its own landscapes that overlapped with that of the human world. Although it did have holes in it in places that had wards or where the geography didn't quite aline. She couldn't rift into the watch tower because they didn't overlap. If there was a valley in the rift and a mountain in the real world, she couldn't rift there. But if the top of a building corresponded with a rift mountain, she could get on top of the roof.


She waited for Skylar to finish his transport to the watch tower before stepping in herself. Now in the tower she let her more comfortable form show again. Hair turning black and markings swirling over her skin. What ave' we got cheif.

Isroh simply wasn't breathing. He didn't need to, but it didn't feel too good. Rai didn't breathe at all because she never had, Isroh did by habit. Oh they pack more of a punch than you think. Leave my little bird alone. He growls, vines ripping up from the floor, coiling back like a snake and lashing at the scarecrow to try and get him away from Robin with that glove. He drew the black blade at his hip, the sound resembling the guillotine's morbid scream much like Rai's scythes.

"Alright, should I start with the good news or the bad news?" asked Lexi, soon tapping away behind the console, bringing up a few pictures - namely those of Lex Luthor, and a map of the world, with several red dots marked on it.

After all, her father was Lex Luthor, someone who almost destroyed the old league, and even had a league to deal with them. It was an odd thing when she joined the League, and Skyler was on his toes about the whole ordeal.

"As of this moment, LexiCorp - has been cleaned, of my father's - nuclear and chemical arsenal. Today, was also the day, I also sent away the last remaining stores of Kryptonite weaponry. Namely those manufactured for Kryptonian physiology. They will be entombed with the rest of Luthor' WMD arsenal. The only way to breach it...well is Superman," chuckled Lexi.


"Leaving the only remaining stores of official Kryptonite equipment, is possessed by the Justice League...and likely Batman, paranoid geezer," she spoke, muttering the last part.

Rai was indiffrent to Lexi, She hadn't done anything to make her not trust her and truthfuly she didn't consider the biological compellment to be bad. Her dad was bad, but she was good. Now should Lexi ever decide to be bad... you bet your ass there'd be a scythe in her face. A smile crossed her face as Sky nodded tward his alchaholism that had actually gotten better wether he realized it or not.


So no more nukes? Thats good. How can there be a bad thing in all this? She listened, twirling her scythe around and setting the end on the ground, blade curving up backwards as she leaned over on the handle.

Batgirl watched from a distance on a rooftop near the destroyed building letting Demon Hunter and Superman handle the situation while prepared to step in if necessary. She hears the code orange alarm and quickly heads to a near by teleporter in league safe house. She considered sneaking into the javelin and surprising Superman and Demon Hunter but decided the teleporter would be a little faster. She quickly hides in a corner of the meeting room. Lara stares at the pictures of Lex and tries to remember what her dad said about Lex not being having some humanity. Batgirl knows Lexi isn't evil because of who her father was since Batgirl's father who is the half clone of Lex and Superman managed to be a hero despite being part Luthor.

"Well, bad news is. That Luthor had alot of secret weapon bases - locating and getting rid of them, is like trying to cut grass with a pair of scissors. Like all sorts of stuff - some meant for defeating, certain heroes, others were reserve gold deposits, laboratories all that shit," explained Lexi. "Most of them, having anti-Superman stuff. I swear, my dad was either obsessed or secretly gay, for all that hard-on against Superman. Going with the second one, since I wasn't the result of banging a woman..."


"Namely, a weapon' base in Siberia had been...emptied," spoke Lexi, bringing up an image of it. "Exactly 75% of the arnaments there were missing. And yes, I know that as a fact, eidetic memory is a good thing. Thank you dad, for being a crazy-prepared..."


"Namely, those weapons were designed for a specific group. Meta-humans, amongst those were sonic cannons, laser rifles and a Kryptonite pulse-generator," she sighed. "I am not sure exactly who wanted to rob it. But I got a lead."


She soon pulled a shuriken, from her pocket and threw it across the table for the others to examine. "I smell a ninja here. Anybody think maybe the League of Shadows?"

Condor gave Skylar a slightly surprised look as the younger man drew closer with questions. A moment ago he might have put their behavior off to being young and in love, but Sky was clearly hoping he hadn't seen something. Before the birdman could even give an answer the comm went off and he listened, at Sky's answer he nodded that he'd be going back as well. Then one by one Rai and Skylar went through the teleporter until it was Brian's turn and he followed them through.


Lexi Luthor was there to greet them as they arrived via teleportation and Brian walked closer in time to hear the dad appreciation week comment and audibly grunted at the thought of his own father. "So what's the bad news then?" He asked Lexi, still not sure why they were all recalled back to HQ in the first place, then came her explanation and he couldn't help the chill he got at hearing about the Anti-Meta-Human weapons being one himself. "In other words you need our help to clean up your dads mess?" It wasn't a shot at Lexi for the most part, he didn't have a problem with her personally, he was just being blunt.
