Fandom Justice League: The End

Skyler heard a faint call. It was his name, but it was in Rai's voice. His eyes widened and he turned around towards the source of the sound. "Here! I'm he-" Was all he managed to yell, before falling forward. The sedative took its toll on him, and now he was on the ground, still trying to stay awake.

@Demonhunter

Rai hear Skylar's voice not too far away and began carefully going in that direction. It took a long time before she finally found the right cell, but finding it locked. He was on the ground, still awake, but luckily alive. She reached out to take his hand through the bars. How in the hell did you get here!? Rai was genuinly confused and worried. only demons can pull a mortal down here unless they possessed certain items. She moved her attention to the door, releasing Skylar so she could test somthing she'd seen done in a similar fashion in a movie. She set the blade of her scythe just below the hinge of the door,wedged between the door and the other bars. The handle was proped up at a decent angle crating levrage against the hinge and with a sharp kick, popped the welding in two and allowed to door to be pulled clean off. She dropped to her knees next to him, holding him in her lap. Hey! please tell me you're alright! She asked, jostling him slightly to try and keep him talking.

@AnnoDomini

Sky felt someone pick him up. Opening his eyes, he saw Rai. An image that was for him confusing. "P-Please don't be a dream." He managed to blurt out, as his hand tried to touch her face. He wanted to believe it was real, but the ideas Damien managed to implant were still surfacing, making him doubt what he sees. Maybe it was the sedative.

@Demonhunter

Will shook his head, his mind was so beyond over simulated and began to give him a bit of a headache. He glanced up that the red stretchy man, crimson eyes glimering and flickering like flames. He had no urge to bit this man... but Condor... that was a different story. "I'm going to go get my guitar." He went to stand but the copper circlets around his arms caused a delay in his nerves and led him straight into a faceplant onto the floor.He screeched in supersize and hissed, finding himself trying to get up, but the delay made his attempt nothing but a thrash as it continued to alter how his body perceived signals to move.Never mind... Will groaned, remaining lieing on the floor, having given up getting to his feet.

Diana blinked.
They have no leadership to control their impulses. My son lives due to their personal attachment and their utter disregard for what he could do to everyone else. You could help them gain some of that. Diana did seem somewhat peeved that her son lived, why? no one knows. Perhaps her reasons really were selfish and horrible to think about? Or she might actually be thinking of the bigger picture.

Rai held Skylar, taking his hand and letting it touch to her cheek, markings flaring up crimson beneath his hand.
Not a dream. She assured him, deciding to stay there with him untill whatever was affecting him wore off. Just keep talking, don't fall asleep. Um... future plans? anything you thinking about. just don't fall asleep. She begged, trying to keep him awake, afraid if he were to fall asleep, he'd never wake up again.

"That... bitch gave me... something to make me fall asleep." Skyler tried to raise up, but he felt his right hand go limp. "H-Help me up." Sky said, now trying to keep awake more than anything. Seeing Rai gave him a motivation. Even if it was a dream, he would fight.

Rai nods, helping pull her mate to his feet. She put his arm around her shoulder. Come on, lets go back to base. I need to make sure you don't catch the demon bug too. Rai supported Skylar's weight awkwardly due to being about a full foot shorter than Skylar was. Her to do list was begining to grow in length, first ensuring Will's survival and now pray her mate wasn't also infected with pathenogenic demon's blood as well as keep Isroh on a tight leash. She began to walk slowly, trying to help him to Grimora.

Sky struggled on his feet, his eyes opened and looking around. The image moved violently, like he was drunk. The sheer motion sickness made him close his eyes, but still tried to support his weight, feeling Rai was barely capable of supporting him. Suddenly he felt someone else carrying him as well. "You won't pass out now Green, right?" It was Liam. The boy managed to get a grip on Sky and started to take some weight off Rai. "So, where are w-" Liam stopped when he saw Grimora. "...I swear, things are getting stranger since I met you guys."

@Demonhunter

It was moderately entertaining to watch Eddie's mind flail to understand things until the light-bulb hit. "Your Robin fetish is disturbing, you know that?" He rolled his eyes and looked at Vincent, "Normal for him? Yes. The rest of us? Not at all."

Brian heard what Will had said, followed by the loud clang of him hitting the ground that caused even him to flinch before having a look at the damage. "I doubt you could play it anyways, but it may have been a bit smarter to ask for it instead of trying yourself." He took a step closer to the face-planted Will and looked down with a smirk, "Before I help you back up you have to promise not to bite, sniff, or salivate for that matter." It was a small jokey-jab at Will and his current condition which may have seemed a bit rude or heartless, but Condor wasn't one to play with words.

Blake listened to Diana closely. He revered her like he would his own mother in that she was given his respect and attention. He understood what she meant, even, but he didn't precisely like it. He had spent the last three years mostly being a solo hero with very brief pairings with a partner, most that didn't even begin to work. Any time he was part of a team, it was a short-term strike force. Any longer and he caused fighting, whether by pissing off some alpha-male wanna be or upsetting some girl on the team.

"I agree that they could use some rationality, but I don't know if I'm one to deliver it. It is common knowledge that one of the functions of the Justice League was to create an open medium for you and Aquaman to speak and ideally prevent war. You represented an entire people and faced the same resistance I do... but you're an Amazonian Demigoddess. I'm just the son of an alien princess a galaxy away from her own people. I can't speak for anyone. I'm not even the strongest among them. It would just be bickering and arguing until a full-blown fight breaks out, and then someone like Superman will just rip us off each other," Blake responded. It was lengthy, sure, but it was also humble. Blake knew his place, and he was fairly sure it wasn't as a leader. "I don't think I'll ever command the same authority or respect you do," he added.

In Gotham...

Bruce hugged Jess back lightly. His arms weren't as strong as they used to be, but he was strong enough to give her a hug while standing. "I'm alive. Enough to keep you kids in line. When the League was first founded, we had to keep Arthur and Diana from causing all-out war. You have no idea how far we have come since then. Nevertheless, don't forget who built the Watchtower," he added. He was still scolding, although this time the edge was significantly dulled. He let go off Jess to gain his ground again, then inhaled deeply. "I suggest that none of you forget who built the League, too. More importantly, why it was built. Dick goes easy on all of you," he said. He then smirked at Dick before adding, "Keep it up and I may need to get Tim." He let the remark sink in with a smirk before he turned around to one of the many desks that surrounded them.

Bruce didn't work on things manually anymore. Instead, he had an automated system of drones, molds, furnaces and even 3D printers laying around to make virtually whatever he needed. His "gadgets" were made even faster, even more precisely and they allowed him to always have what he needed - when he needed it. In this case, he had to clear off a few boxes and cases to find the specific one he needed. It was large and seemed heavy, but Bruce was quick to grab it. As he did, he slowly set it on the ground to reveal it had wheels. He grunted in the motion, but after that, it was simple to roll it over to the heroes. "You kids are unprepared," he said, "but what's new?"

He hit one of the buttons on the handle that opened the container vertically, revealing a set of shackles. They were made of various metals and had an odd construction. A ring of copper surrounded by steel plating with what appeared to be a dull, black substance in the steel casing. Each ring was held together with what appeared to be a thin steel wire which all connected to the actual cuffs, seemingly made of copper with a chalky white substance around it. "Deal with demons, be prepared. The stone in the cuffs contains a high concentration of salt, the copper is a single layer, then reinforced alloy. The rest of this is held together by a magnetic chain protected by an electrical field. I only have one set for now, but put them on any high priority demon and they won't get out. How you intend to get them on... isn't my problem," he explained as he described the device. In front of them, Bruce had a single restraining device that would have completely diffused the situation they had earlier. It was of little use to them now, but it wouldn't hurt to have it.

Bruce hit the button again to close the case, then pushed it next to Dick. He lifted his hand to rub his eyes slightly before groaning, "Has Clark gotten slow in his old age, too?"

Jess chuckled as Bruce let them go, and Dick scoffed. "I do not! I'm a vigorous, stone-cold taskmaster!" He elbowed Jess and winked at her, and Jess rolled her eyes.

"Only on me," Jess said as the case slid next to Dick with a soft hiss and her watch began to blink with a sound much like Bruce's old red batphone (which he let her keep as a souvenir) and she looked at it. "We got trouble in the Gotham botanical gardens. Giant plants and a bunch of police officers hospitalized with really deep thorn wounds. Sounds like Poison Ivy."

Dick grabbed the case and turned but Jess put a hand on his shoulder. "It's okay, dad. I'm the Gotham Guardian now, I can handle it solo. Bruce'll be watching me from the cameras, and I have my comm link on. Besides, Poison Ivy's kisses and toxins don't work on females, remember? And I feel like she'd take advantage of you being.... Well... A dude."

Dick seemed hesitant but reluctantly nodded and Jess smiled. "I'll be back before dinner." She said. "Bye Bruce, Bye Ace!" The German Shepherd Barked and whined softly, then looked at Bruce, almost as if asking permission to go with her as she pressed a button on her wrist and the floor opened up and her bike popped up from the gap. She hopped on, then revved and sped out of the Batcave.

Dick shook his head. "Honestly Bruce, sometimes I feel like a bad father, letting her do" he gestured to the entrance to the Cave "that.."

Honestly, the speed that the other just talked was somewhat overwhelming to the angel. Shaking his head, he raised one hand to ward off any worry. "It is better that I stay. Should he find himself without the ability to control instinct, or should he feel that it would be good to give in and lunge at anyone or towards the door, I have the ability to put an angelic blade through flesh and bone to his heart." Breathing out something of a sigh, Vincent looked towards Brian. "Is this normal for him? I gather that it isn't normal for most humans."

Will jumped. Well THATS real settling, good god. Will seemed uneasy about the whole everyone so willing to kill him should he screw up and give in. It was like walking on pins and needles just talking to people... then again being fed to a pack of hungry dogs didn't sound very good either so he'd just endure it.

Rai continued searching every cell before groaning. There were hundreds, it'd take ages to search the entire place.
Skylar!? She called, hoping for some form of response, her boots clacking against the tiles as she walked down the massive corridoor.

Eddie held up a hand, motioning for Vincent not to do anything. "I got this." He walked over to Will and stretched, wrapping an arm around his waist, picking him up with surprising strength and setting him back on the table on his black. He handed him the opened packet of blood. "Drink your protein cocktail, bro. You'll need it if you don't want to turn into a blood-thirsty Rage monster." He smiled then took a seat on the table a few feet away from him but still on the same table. He swung his legs back and forth like a child, then began to whistle "You Give Love A Bad Name."

"Actually its Jonathan, Clark retired," said Jess, coughing before quickly changing to subject away, from attempting to say that Bruce was forgotful in his old age. "I mean, Mr. Wayne, have you considered cybernetics? They could restore your physical form..."

She said, by showing off her cybernetic arm, which worked like her regular, but was stronger. "Because, honestly - you tore down our entire rationality and...honestly you're right in that," sighed Lexi. "We lack a Commander, leader at the top of the food-chain. Somebody who gets the last word, and operates on the big picture. And as, our current few incidents have proven, we are still lacking in that area."

"Our mission to Tibet, was FUBAR - we had five injured, blew our cover, one lost his cool, a few of us got captured," spoke Lexi, sighing at the results. "And it only succeeded - when we went total knock-the-door-down. All total Rookie 101 mistakes."

"And, as you saw yourself in the Watchtower - we got emotional. One tried to attack our own, and my option to react was to detain them with force," she replied. "And now, that I think about it, I might have over-reacted."

"Which my point being, we need a commander-in-chief. Before Nightwing, decided to come back - our current set-up, worked against small-timers. Jess handled detective and search-work. Our Superman II was the heavy-lifter, I was the funding, tech and science department. And our two warlocks twins handled any magics. We went after one supervillain, and we got the floor moped with us," she sighed again.

"We need a high leader, somebody - who could command us from above, and make unbiased calls. Your one, Bruce - since your the poster-boy of honest jury and judge. Other person I can think of is Diana or Wonder Woman - and after with Will...not sure about that anymore. I believe she might be biased, in her commands - judging by how she reacted with her own son. And that could cause some conflict, amongst a few of us. I know, you'll say we need to look beyond that - but doesn't help built ones trust in leadership; when she ordered her own son to be killed. And some of us, might not follow her orders - of leaving another behind or kill somebody. Since - we still follow the mantra, you three set before us."

"We aren't judge, jury, executioner. We aren't mercenaries. We don't kill - and the exception to that barely, is threat of human extinction," she said. "We need a leader. And neither I, Jess or Superman II - is obviously cut out for that."

Batgirl doesn't say anything knowing she chose her own path deciding to be Batgirl on her own. She felt uneasy letting Jess go on her own knowing she still hasn't fully recovered from the previous mission. She noticed that Ace was feeling that she needed help on this which made her feel even more uneasy about not following her. She pulls out a batarang and starts to squeeze it tightly in her hand to help her relax.

Lexi reminded Batgirl of her regret about not being on that mission to Tibet thinking that if she was with the team she would of been able to prevent the others from getting hurt which causes her squeeze even harder on the batarang. She remembers what she did on the watchtower about the Will situation how she tried to cure him despite the fact their was on two options in that situation to let him transform or kill him which meant that all she was doing was wasting time doing nothing that helped with a dangerous situation that could of lead to the league members fighting each other. She agrees the league needs a better leader but she doesn't want to be put in charge she doesn't think she can handle the pressure when she is already struggling handling the pressure of being the grandkid of both Batman and Superman and is scared of all the talking she would need to do as leader. The batarang she was squeezing breaks from the pressure of her tk enhanced strength.

"I got to help Robin this attack may seem like a random ivy attack but ivy is too smart for something like this unless it's a trap" Batgirl says nervously as she begins to fly out of the Batcave and towards the Gotham Botanical Gardens. "The others can figure out who should be the new leader but I got to prevent my big sis from trying to do too much on her own" she thinks to herself while flying.

@sitanomoto @NecroKnight @Sir Les Paul

"Jonathan is not Clark and he is hardly Superman," Bruce replied. "But, that is beside the point," he went on. "Do you think the original League had a leader?" he asked, posing a question. This one was even directed at Dick. The abyssal state that had made many criminals crack now bore down on those in front of him. He had a point to make, and he intended to make it even more harsh once Batgirl had left. He felt she needed more time to develop in this particular sense.

After the extended silence, Bruce explained: "there wasn't. It was a handful of us at each other's throats doing the best for our shared world. Leadership is important, but teamwork is even more so. Do you know where Starsurge went wrong? It wasn't his attempt to kill Will, it wasn't siding with Wonder Woman and it wasn't that he was willing to do it. It was that he would do it despite what the team wanted. None of you are any better than him in this respect thus far. You wanted what you wanted - period. You weren't acting as a team, you didn't care about the risks and you even barked at other members of the team and abused protocol against a teammate. I could say this about all of you. But, what you don't need is a emporer making the final decisions. You don't need one person with all of the power. Our solution was simple. A select few made came together to make decisions. You can't even do that. You cannot just reject the opinion you don't want to hear and refuse the action you personally won't commit. That is how little girls fight in school halls, not how heroes protect innocent people. But don't even begin to think this is just directed at you. Nothing I can say to Blake will make him care, but his mother will return and she will do far worse than I could. Nevertheless, each of you need to focus less on you, less on each other and more about what brings you together."

Bruce then sighed again and walked over to his seat, slowly guiding himself down. "As for cybernetics, I already have a mechanical heart. It's what the medication is for. It's also why Clark is visiting later. I have considered it, don't worry. After Terry, I made sure my suits were equipped with wetware for neural interfacing. I'm not ignorant to it," he explained. One could heart his back pop ever so slightly as he sat down. His age grew more and more apparent.

"Someone has to be judge, someone has to be jury and someone might just have to be executioner. I thought all those years that this City would just give me someone worse than Joker... All it gave me was harsh lessons that I try to pass down to you. If you want the harshest lesson... It's that the people with the best intentions might make the worst decision while the most selfish coward could save the most lives. And, it's only in hindsight that you ever learn which is which - if you ever do," Bruce went on. He then pulled his cane into his lap and rubbed his eyes again.

"Dick, get going. Tell Jonathan that if he intends on visiting, he should make it quick. Once the real Superman gets here, he and I need to catch up on... The last three years."

(I didn't know that Superman wasn't Clark. But the plot point I needed required Clark, sooooo, can I borrow him for a quick scene, @Demonhunter ?)

Will groans but flinches as he was picked up luckily he had no urge to bite the stretchy guy... but condor was another story... He'd gotten pretty close and had 100% of his attention. His focus wouldn't redirect, even when eddie had opened the package. He hadn't quite gotten a good smell of anyone up until then and only now did he understand exactly how hard resisting would be. He sat up straight, predatory eyes locked onto the metahuman, ignoring all else in the room. The scent just wouldn't go away now that he'd gotten so close, he wanted to get in even closer to try and get more of it.The scent coming from the package didn't call to him as much as condor's body heat did. His tail flicked about behind him, a growl that sounded much like a rabid dog rumbling from his throat. His fingers clenched the metal of the table which caused it to creak and bend all kinds of out of shape to conform to the bends in his fingers. He kept trying to fight it but there came a moment where there simply was no reasoning and he gave in. Will lunged, a loud hiss as he'd reared back to slash claws at Condor... but the motion stopped and seemed to not quite work out like his body wanted. The copper would distort motions based on size of impulse. The larger the motion, the larger the electrical current required, the more distortion. Will had just moved way too fast, way too soon and used too many body parts and the signals got all kinds of warped and struck him down inches from actually reaching condor. The slam on the cold tile and the thrashing from the aftershocks made him come to and realize he'd given in. Fear it him, they were going to kill him for that surly. Specifically the angel scared him the most, his tail curls around, wrapping itself around one of his ankles. I-I'm sorry! I'll do better! I promise! Will gagged as the scent kept trying to tempt him, he knew if he went for it he'd just get stricken again and slam head first into tiles again, but the burning in his throat was too much to ignore. He'd never even noticed that Eddie had opened a package for him.

Isroh had gotten caught up just moseying around the batcave, looking at everything cool. This was his childhood dream!!! or at least he was sure it was! He hoped it was, what kind of kid didn't wonder what the batcave was like or if it even existed. His attention was pulled to Batman and Lexi talking about Will and Blake. Isroh bit his lip before deciding to speak up. Um. I'm sorry, the body would have survived that blast. I didn't feel the need to mention the whole don't wake him up thing because I didn't feel it was a super necessary thing. I didn't expect somone to kinda... you know... try to fry him. Sorry Lexi. He sheepishly looked down. But honestly blasting him did bring out the best result possible. Most premature demons are psychotic and stuck somewhere between death with no soul and a soul without death. Those eventually self destruct and drag everyone else to hell with them. At least that's how Rai puts it. Isroh felt the need to throw those details in now since he'd neglected them earlier. Luckily, the self destruct thing didn't happen, but it very well could have. But there was no telling what stopping and restarting did to the kid.

Rai gladly let Liam help her with Skylar. It wasn't that he was heavy, it was that the drastically different centers of gravity made it difficult.
I knew you'd be back. Here help me get him on Grimora. The hellish stallion's head raised, glaring down at the ginger before him. He recognized and scarcely tolerated Skylar... but he didn't know Liam so he automatically didn't like him. Grimora let a low nicker rumble inside like an earthquake, the empty sockets of the horses eyes were lit by an eerie green flame that seemed to focus on Liam with utter disdain.

Oh you, quit it. He's not getting on, chill. Skylar is.

Grimora scraped a hoof along the ground and reluctantly remained still as Rai moved to try and help Skylar onto Grimora's saddle. Sorry, He's not the biggest fan of people he doesn't know... Heck he still bites Sky in the ass every chance he gets.

Vincent moved the moment Will did, the blade sliding free even as the violin case settled lightly on a table. Then he was in front of Will, the silvered blade that seemed to spark and glow with the same other worldly light as his eyes whistling through the air. Not that it struck, the demon dropping below the swing. Vincent drew back instantly, closing the opening that the strike had caused. Then he realized that Will wasn't crouching for another lunge. Straightening, the blade flicked through his fingers, then slid lightly into his belt. The moment he released it the light faded, leaving what looked like polished steel and a bone handle, the blade slightly curved and slightly longer than his forearm.

His free hand settled on Wall's head, ruffling his hair even as the angel glanced back, eyes on Condor. "Perhaps getting his...guitar? would be a good idea. If you would?" reaching down, Vincent caught Wall's shirt. Proving that despite the slim appearance, he was an angel, the male lifted Will back to the table. "I rather like the copper restraints." smiling slightly, he stepped back. "Would a violin suffice for now?"

Eddie's eyes went wide and he looked at Condor. "Listen, featherface, it might be beat if you stop poking the proverbial bear here, the Kid's having enough trouble as it is." he said, offering a small bit of rare seriousness. Ed turned to Will and reached over to Pat his shoulder before remembering about the no touching thing AGAIN. "I'll stay here in case will needs a squeaky toy to chew on. Oh–!" Eddie brightened. "Hang on a sec!" There was a sound like the rubbing together and bending of rubber on rubber as Eddie shaped himself, folding, bending, elongating, and compressing into a very familiar shape. Next to Will laid a red, yellow, skin tone, and black acoustic guitar with strings that could actually tune and play. "Play me like one of your French women," he said, his grinning face on the top of the neck of the guitar. "I promise I won't sing, and I actually sound like a guitar. Pops taught me instruments last week, and I gotta say I make a pretty Sexy Saxophone." The strings strummed as if played by an invisible hand, and it sounded just like a real acoustic.

Lexi nodded in agreement, soon enough taking her leave - soon being dumped into the Wayne Mansion. Where she comtemplated it for a bit, before dialing up and calling Wonder Woman. She needed to have a talk with the former founder of the Justice League.

And if she'd take anything from Bruce Wayne - it is responsibility. They choose to be heroes, risk their lives, but they were also peacekeepers - and that meant walking a thin line, with all the duties and responsibilites of such. It at times felt like Batman was speaking several conflicting things. But Lexi liked to think, that what he wanted them to take away - was that they needed to walk their own path, in such a way, that didn't require overwatch. In their duties, acts and beliefs - it was time for them, to stop being children or copies of the former heroes - and start being their own Justice League.

"Come on, Wonder Woman...pick up..."

Brian watched as Eddie helped Will back up with a shrug, and while he hadn't expected Will's sudden lunge attempt he'd put himself into a defensive stance on instinct. Only to see the boy fall to the floor once again, Vincent expressed his opinion that maybe Brian should leave and give Will some room. It was only then that he realized that Will hadn't tried anything with Vincent or Eddie, maybe it was the different physiology. So Condor's presence had caused a literal battle within Will, and his attempts to help had only accidentally worsened the process. "Yeah, I think I will actually." He started out of the room, feeling more of a nuisance than anything. That wasn't exactly a new feeling though, Now what the hell am I supposed to do? As if to answer his call he spotted one of the chairs in the main room and moved to sit in it, sinking back into it and closing his eyes.

Will's mind was rushing and quite dazed. He was sure the angel would kill him for that! Next thing he knew he was back on the table. Thanks... and if they keep me from killing people,me too. Sure hitting cement hurt, but he'd deal with it! Better that than clawing someone apart. No, Brian, you don't have to leave! Will didn't want to be seen as anything other than Will, even if it meant constant temptation. Will began to sort of feel alienated, lonely even though he was surrounded by people. All of them may avoid him in fear of becoming dinner. He lifted a hand but noticed something... his nails had been done! He curiously pulled back his sleeve seeing the massive amount of marks going up his arm all the way to his shoulders. What... the... hell! What are we vagas?! I go under and I'm suddenly covered!? Will yelped. although Eddie turning into a guitar freaked him out even more. Ehhhh I think I'll take a rain check buddy... namly because I have no idea what part of you those strings are... That aaaand Blair may get jealous. He had all his instruments named Will slowly and carefully stood, not making too many large movements. I'll be right back. He shuffled slowly and surly, legs shifting one after the other, slowly and surly. He made it to his room and picked up the guitar case but on his was back crossed the living room.

Wonder Woman was about to respond to Blake when her phone went off she decided to answer. Hello? Will had resorted to his usual passive aggressive mannerisms, removing Blair for her case and began strumming a hilariously ironic My Chemical Romance song as he passed. Diana, as usual, was oblivious and horribly confused. Will wound up back in the Med bay sitting back up on the table.

"Wonder Woman, this is Overload. We need to talk, can you come visit the Watchtower or anywhere else?" spoke Lexi, her voice sounding through the speaker. "And yes, it is related to the Justice League. Batman tore us a new one, and we need to speak with you."

With a grunt, Sky climbed on Grimora, barely keeping his balance. "Easy boy. It's me." Sky managed to say, stumbling in his words. Liam raised his arms and took a few steps back. "Yeah... I don't want to get hit or bitten by... Grimora, was it?" Liam let out a laugh, crossing his hands. "I was in the area, and decided to lend you two a hand." "Thanks Speedy." "...Stop calling me that, Queen." Liam put on a rather annoyed look, looking around. "So... You two need anymore help?"

Eddie laughed. "They're my fingers, dude, don't worry." He gave a sly smile and there was a *POP* As he expanded back into his original shape, although now his right hand was a paddle with a flesh-colored paddleball on a flesh-colored string. He began to bounce the ball to the beat of Will's song, then began to show off a little bit with his paddleball skills and his shapeshifting abilities. His nose elongated and sharpened to a tapered point and he flung the paddleball over his nose and fingers, creating a star, before returning his nose to normal and continuing to paddleball. He laid down on his back with his legs dangling over the edge of the table as he bounced his paddleball up and down vertically, still bouncing the ball to the rhythm of Will's guitar.

Vincent blinked, watching as Brian left. He hadn't actually meant for the man to outright leave. More just get out of the room for a few moments while Will brought himself back under control. Not that it seemed to be an issue. Leaning back against one of the tables, the angel tilted his head, listening to the music as he watched Will's fingers move over the strings. Honestly, he was somewhat happy that it was an actual guitar, rather than the one which the rubber man could turn into. Inclining his head slightly at the presence of Diana, he let his eyes slid back almost shut.

The entrance lit for a moment. Then Luke was striding out, carrying another duffle bag. This one was marked with the logo of the hospital he had visited, somewhat farther off although he figured that the other longer term members were hitting up the ones nearest. Pausing at the main room, he raised one hand. "Hey. Where did everyone go?"

Jess arrived at the botanical gardens in time to find her floral Felon "wrapping things up" with the Shroud. From the lighting of the Greenhouse, she couldn't see the details of the criminal, only the silhouette. It looked ... Feminine.... But not the hourglass figure of Pamela Isley.

There was a loud *BANG* as a gun fired and Jess felt a sharp pain in her shoulder. She grabbed it and winced. "Come ON! Show yourself, COWARD!" she yelled, gritting her teeth and pulling out the bullet. She saw the feminine figure step into the light and Robin was immediately confused. "GCPD? What–" she felt something wrap around her waist, legs and torso, restraining her arms to her sides. She began to squirm but was squeezed so hard she began to see stars. She looked down and saw her covered in vines. She tensed as she felt something slide up her back, stiffening. The vines loosened slightly as she stopped moving, allowing her room to breathe.

"Mmmm," voice behind her said. "Mm-mmm! Look at that figure!" The owner of the voice came around into Jess's view.

He was handsome, she had to admit, but he was sinisterly so. His Irises were red as a rose, staring into her bright blue ones hungrily, and his sharp-chisled features definitely held something malicious in them. "Look at her, Beauties!" He said, and there was a rustle from the vines.

"Who...?"

"Aww, struck dumb, Chickadee?" Ace said, moving his hand to trace her Jaw. "It's alright, to be in the presence as a modern marvel such as myself has left many women in the same position...."

Robin snapped at his finger and Ace drew it back just in time. "Feisty. I like that." He leaned in close to her. "What do you think, Girl Wonder? Am I....." He leaned into her ear. "Appealing?"

"More like apalling." Robin retorted. Struggling again.

Ace just laughed and grabbed the back of her head, pulling her close to him. "Oh, I am going to enjoy this...."

Robin struggled, leaning back as far as she could away from him.... But it wasn't enough. She felt his lips touch hers and her eyes glazed as she relaxed, his toxin sinking into her nervous system through her skin. She closed her eyes and leaned into the kiss, seeming to hazily enjoy the sensation....

Yeah his name's Grimora. It's actually a lot longer, but Grimora shortens the frikkin phrase. Grimora snorts, scraping a hoof and leaning his head over to Rai sniffing and nibbling at her. Rai didn't pay him much mind, more like swatting him away. Not unless you'd like to stick around. I do think he'd like you to be there when he gets a bit less delerious. She started walking, Grimora following behind, not paying Skylar very much attention, occasionally tossing his head up in irritation, which was met with a stern scold from the horseman that led him. I think the Zetas up the road... or we can just hoof it.
