"Robin, this is Arrow, where are you?" Groaning, he took his finger off the comm."Lex, can you get a fix on Robin? I think she strayed from the others."

Down further towards the temple, the seven ninja were dragging two bodies, one of which was dripping blood onto the snow. Robin's head lolled forwards as the ninja dragged her by her arms through the snow. The other was the body of their fellow unconcious ninja, whom they were carrying with a little more dignity. The grey ninja looked up at the trees and then signaled something. A ninja from the back of the pack stayed behind and threw down a pellet obto the snow. The smoke erupted from it with a hissing sound and obscured the ninjas from view. When the smoke cleared, they were gone, and so was Robin.

Skyler groaned, looking at Lexi. "Lex. They can cover their tracks. How do you think they survived without infrared decoys..." He says, as he was visibly furious. He was downright fuming at this point. His fist was tight around his bow, and he threw an arrow in the ground. "Why didn't the others stop her...?" Skyler said, slowly, clear anger in his voice. His breathing was intense, and he took out the communicator from his ear, and threw it in the direction the ninjas were. "Fuck!" Skyler yelled, as he tried to look for footprints, but nothing, even the dragging disappeared.

Not with us. She poofed and I assumed she was circling around to find you. Rai claimed. I can send Isroh after her.


Isroh thought for a moment. Then an idea hit him. Aren't the ninjas with Talia? Just go make Talia release her. Isroh reasoned. The horseman nodded.


Skylar, I'm going to go drag Robin away from those ninjas. Is it nessicary Talia lives? Rai asked, kicking the horse into a dead run, hooves tearing through the snow with ease.





Hey sentinial... Will chimed nervously. He really wanted to go help look for Jess too. but he was afraid too many people doing the same thing would cause a back up. Right now he just felt the need to keep the small talk.

Superman clenched his jaw when he heard the radio go off. It looked like Robin had been kidnapped, their stealth mission turned into a hostage situation."I thought we were doing the stealthy thing.." He said in a low drone as he followed, trudging through the snow and covered his eyes against it. His eyes sharpened to use his telescopic vision."Lexi, stand down. We'll find her, I'm good with tracking and they couldn't have gone far." He said and clipped his cape back on."Will, do you read me? I need your help pal."

Sentinel made a face about being left on overwatch. She would have rather gone in to save Robin, but she had charged in blindly a few times when she first joined the League and it had been a mess each time. She just had to learn patients.


"Somebody keep me appraised, or I'm gonna get antsy." She said through her comms.


Well...patient up to a point.


Will's chiming in was something of a comfort to Sentinel. At least she wasn't waiting alone.


"Whatcha got, Will?" She asked, looking over at her teammate.


As she looked away from her spyglass, a contruct of a pirate clad monkey appeared on her shoulder in a puff of green flames and took the eyeglass. Inside her mask, what she monkey was seeing was displayed to the side of her vision like a mini map in a video game hub.

Freezing cold water splashed in Robin's face and she awoke with a gasp. The grey ninja, still masked, approached Robin. "Glad to see you're awake now."


Robin began to take a measure of her surroundings. The two were alone in a stone room, and Robin was chained to the wall, hanging by her wrists and ankles. Her gloves, boots, and belt were gone, leaving only her mask and her ankle socks on.


"I... I see you were smart enough to remove my belt and gloves," Robin said, spitting some blood and saliva onto the floor. "You'd be surprised how many people forget to do that. Don't know why you removed my shoes though, unless you wanted to see my fabulous socks." Robin wiggled her toes in her socks and grinned.


The ninja was not amused. She tilted Robin's head up to look up at her, and inspected her. The Girl Wonder had an obviously black eye, clearly visible even under her mask. There was a long gash on her cheek and her face was smeared with blood from her bloody (thankfully unbroken) nose.


"What?" Robin rasped, staring back into the ninja's eyes defiantly. "Looking for something?" She had not lost her defiant spirit in the least, and her glare made the grey ninja smile.


"Your spirit is admirable, I will give you that." She said. "Now tell me, and be honest, who did you come with?"


Jess shook her head and chuckled. "I told you, I came alone, or did you not hear me the first time?"


The wind was knocked out of Jess as the ninja in grey punched Robin in the stomach.


"I'm going to ask you again: who did you come with? I know you're not foolish enough to come on your own."


Robin glared up at the woman. "Well, you thought wrong, because I told you the truth the first twenty seven times you asked me. I. Came. Alone."


The ninja slammed Robin's head into the stone wall, and Robin's vision went black for a moment or two. When she could see again, she looked at the lady ninja standing in front of her, scowling.


"I will ask you once more, and once more only," she said, and her voice was deadly quiet. "Who. Did. You. Come. With.?"


Jess laughed. "The harder you press me the tighter my mouth becomes." She said. "I already told you, lady. And you didn't listen."


The grey ninja gave Robin one last backhand slap to her face before exiting the room to find her mistress.

Talia was in her meditation room, standing silent, a candle in her hand. In front of her there was a rune, and she stood in silence, as if she was saying a prayer. The smoke from the scented candles around could be cut with a knife, and the sweet aroma flew out of the room. She turned to the one who entered, eyes still closed. "What is it?"

In the meantime Skyler was pacing. He looked at Lexi and Superman. "You two wait here. This could be a trap to bring you two. I'll go and see what happens. Do not, I repeat, do NOT come after me." People could still hear him through the comm on the ground, but Skyler walked past it, starting to run in the direction the ninja's went. He did not have an idea where they could've taken Jess, but he knew where the hangout was. Arriving there, Skyler noticed it was quiet, a little too quiet maybe.

Superman heard Sky and looked at him, his eyes widen a bit with surprise."Wait, Sky, it's too dangerous you could ge-" he watched the male run off and he stepped forward."Sky wait! Dangit!" He cursed."Lexi, change of plans, above the clouds, now!" He said and looked at Lexi while flying up."Come on! And take Will with you!"

Rai was met with about ten ninja... poor ninjas. She slid off Grimora and he imediatly dispated into dust leaving Isroh glaring dangerously. Vines rose from the earth outside the temple. One ninja got the stones to attack Rai head on but in that instance her human disguise drops. Her blonde hair turned to it's inky black smog and the robes flowed like smoke, her paper white skin bloomed with black and crimson markings as she swung a scythe into the ninja, spilling blood onto the snow.


Isroh's eyes widen at the smell, he reached for his barbed wire.


Rai! I-I CAN'T-


Don't bother. Control only with allies. Enemies are free game.


Isroh's vines insnared the last nine ninjas like spiderwebs of razor thorns, contricting as Isroh went to the first. His teeth became very pronounced, almost cat-like as the ninja struggled and screamed... he wasn't screaming long for soon the blood was drained from his body and he was let lose to fall limp to the snow, dead. He moved on to the next.


Rai burst down the doors to the temple, fog rolling in behind her that surly Talia would recognize. Talia! Get out here or you're going to run out of ninjas. and I'm running out of patience. Rai's crimson eyes scanned the horrid room, the place where she damn near killed a traitor AND Talia. If Talia didn't play her cards right, she may not walk away. I have yet to forgive your for our last altercation. Do not test me.

Will glanced up and follows timidly. I-I... Okay. I don't know if I'll be much good though. He stammered back to Superman, seemingly a bit more timid about getting into an actual fight.

Talia said, as she passed them, stepping outside, to see Rai, a rather handsome looking man, and all her guards dead. "What is the meaning of this? You. I told you to not come here again! I should have banished you and let your boyfriend to rot! Why would you kill my guards?" Talia crossed her arms to her chest, as more guards appeared near her.

Shut it! This is on my terms. Matters not what you should have done, matters what you've done recently. She tilted her scythes slightly showing the gaurd's reflection in the metalic shine. You have somthing I want. Two things. and if you intend for me to leave without sending you back to whatever firey put you crawled out of ,You will meet both demands. Rai's eyebrow quirked up. She was slightly irked for she insisted upon using human gaurds. Humans broke far too easily when faced with demons.


Isroh had just drained nine men of blood... but he was far from satisfied.


Still hungry?


Quite.


Drink your fill... but leave her. She's mine this time.


Isroh cackled like a mad raven, thorny vines sprouting from the floor to ensnare the gaurds. He got to work draining the first one. Rai hardly paid it any mind.


Best not to watch. He gets quite violent. Quite distateful really. But my terms. First and formost, you have our little bird. We'd like her back unharmed... and keep in mind any damage you've already done to her, I will inflict upon you ten fold.


Her voice was stern and the sound of Isroh's rather messy blood drinking was echoing and the screaming of the men he was draining the life out of. And I sugjest you hurry. one he runs out of ninjas to drain, that leaves just you.

Lexi followed Superman' orders, soon enough they were up in the skies. "Some Mr. X-Ray...what is the plan?" she asked, flying alongside and carrying Will

Will cringed at the idea of barging in on a demon sucking down blood. If it was how Rai discribed it, he would know no allies when in a frenzy.That... might not be a good idea. I heard Rai tell Isroh to drain some gaurds. If we go in there, we might wind up getting drained as well. She said he looses his mind when he gets it fresh from the vein. He sugjested timidly, knowing it was a bad idea.

Superman waited until he saw Lexi in the sky with him and he moved closer."I need recon to make sure the team doesn't do anything reckless but I need someone on the ground and you two are the only ones I can trust. Will, can you tail Sky and reach the League of Shadows?" He asked Will.

"Alright, I can handle recon at that. Although, we'll need a serious sit-down and meeting, related to the members and their modus of action," sighed Lexi. "We have literally two vampires, and Girl Wonder, who think she is Batman-incarnate. This sort of action, can't continue - or else, civilians will start to get hurt..."

Will shook his head at Lexi's mistake. Not vampires. Rai doesn't drink blood. Isroh does. They're demons, but two diffrent kinds. Rai's actually considered a devil which is the highest order and strongest kind. Will knew Isroh hated being called a vampire, heck Rai told him that he reacted violently to it. He hoped to nip this in the bud before it got back to Isroh. Then Superman's instructions hit him. He nodded before following Skylar nervously. He REALLY didn't want to be anywhere near Isroh during a blood bath, but it had to be done.

23 watches superman fly from his teammates he heard him say "recon" but wasn't quite that advanced in his studies so he dismissed it.


But as he begins flying away 23 creeps after him quickly but quietly once he is a comfortable distance from those others he leaps at superman with a tremendous velocity


"Superman..." He shouts as he collides with him in the air

"Easy Overload." Superman gave a side smile towards his cousin and looked at Will."Exactly, I need you to watch the team, especially the vampire." He reached into one of his pouches."Only one other person has this and she's behind you." He took out a watch and handed it to Will." The button on this activates a frequency only I can hear. If you feel like you're in trouble, use it. I'll come in the nick of time. " he said. His ears picked up a shout and he turned, only to be smashed into by 23. He grit his teeth and held the arms."Hey! Bad timing big guy!" He swung a fist at the monster with brutal force.

"Great, now its really on," groaned Lexi, soon engaging 23 to help Superman - activating her mono-blade on her wrist. Which could cut through any steel or matter - since its sharpness was a molecule thick. Like cutting with a scalpel through metal.

He'd soon get an electro-missile into his face courtesy of Overload - who coming at 23 with a molecul-sharp wrist-blade. "Not so fast ugly..."

The missile gets 23's attention and throws him of trajectory...but does little more. He twists his torso and drops his double hammer fist at the approaching hero


"GRAHHHH" he shouts as he puts all of his force behind the strike!!!

Superman glanced to the side at Lexi with a narrowed gaze." Be careful Overload,this guy isn't like the cronies in Metropolis." He warned."Will, go! I'll be okay with Overload! " he said over his shoulder. He saw the huge rock coming at him and zoomed towards it."No way around, them smash through it!!" He roared and smashed through it to try and smash into 23."Don't get Overload into this, you're fighting me you big bully!!"

Lexi merely dodged away from the blow - raising her hand, and utilizing a flash-mirror, essentially emmiting a bright flashbang in 23' face. Before thrusting forward, and aiming at his shoulder-blade with her blade.


"I can handle myself, Superman!" said Lexi, using her speed against 23.
