"No,I'm not breaking up with you..I'm just concerned for you..Are you still getting the abuse from your mom?Look,I love you,and I hate to see you in pain.It hurts my heart.I want to protect you Maddy" He said and looked at her,he actually was concerned.

Maddy avoided eye contact. She stayed silent and looked at the ground. A tear slowly fell from her eye. She turned her back to drake afraid to look at him.

"Aw..Maddy..It's Ok..I'm here for you..I'll always be here.." He said and hugged her tightly,trying to comfort her. "I promise.Do you want me to go to your house with you and stay the night so that you won't be alone with your mother?"

Maddy shook her head no. "No drake I don't want her to come after you. I don't want you getting hurt. I care about you way to much to make you do that." Maddy hugged him tight.

"But Maddy,I worry about you..She'll keep doing this to you until someone stops her..I can stop her,what could your mother possibly do to me?I know that she's rough..But please..For your own sake." He really wanted her to know that he was there for her.He then kissed her forehead and let her bury her head in his chest.

Maddy let a few more tear slipped out of her eyes. "I know drake I know but I don't want you getting hurt okay? She is capable of doing many things and I don't want you end up getting hurt okay? Please I would be so upset if you were to get hurt protecting me." Maddy looked up at Drake.

He looked down at her. "Look,you know I had bad history with,my family too..And I moved out..Remember,you're always welcome to come to my place,ok?" He asked and smiled down at her. "Aw..Mads..Please don't cry..C'mon,let's go my princess." He said jokingly as he started walking with her,still with his arm around her,keeping her close and safe.

Alden had conveniently forgotten he had not packed a lunch. Oh well. He sat alone at a table near the edges of the lunch room, eyes closed. At least he could just take a period to do nothing.

Maddy let out a small laugh and wiped her eyes. She give drake a half smile. "Thank you." She whispered quietly to him as she laid her head on his shoulder.

"Maybe we should go somewhere private?I can tell that you need to be comforted..And I'm here to do that for you.."

Maddy whispered okay as they walked out of the school. Maddy didn't want to be upset about this but she is.

Lindsey was eating lunch, when she accidentally spilled milk on her blue skirt, she was silent but thought to herself "My Dad is going to kill me that was my best church skirt"

Maddy looked at him. "I don't care so you can pick I guess." Maddy said in almost a low voice

"Maddy..Wait here.." He said and went back inside.Minutes later,he returned to her. "C'mon,we're going to my place.I told the school staff that you weren't feeling good and they said that I could go with you to take care of you.Ok?"

Maddy nodded her head. "Okay." She left out a fake cough then giggled to herself. She grabbed drakes hand and started to walk. She started swinging their arms.

Drake smiled as she was happy again now.He held her hand tight.Not wanting to leave her go.

Maddy smiled then stop walking. She ran behind drake and jumped on his back. "Mush horse mush!" She shouted at drake while laughing at herself

"Haha" He then started to walk with her on his back.Maddy was so funny when she was happy and excited.

Maddy laughed a little then laided her head on his shoulder. She pecked his cheek and whispered "you can put me down you know. You don't have to carry me."

"No I want to carry you,my house is just around the corner anyway" He said as he went around the corner and soon enough they were at his front door.He opened the door and walked inside. "So..What do you want to do now that it's just the two of us?"

Maddy half smiled as he carried her. Once inside she hopped off his back. She grabbed his face and kissed him for a minute. She pulled away and ran to the kitchen. She started going through the cabinets.

The kiss was great.He loved when she kissed him like that.He then saw that She then ran out to the kitchen.This was Maddy anyway.The girl that he loved.He smiled as he waited for her to return.

Maddy returned later with a water bottle. She smiled at drake. "So what now bugaboo?" She questioned drake as she sat on the couch.
