How exactly did you guys find rp's on the site your into? Was it just a lot of searching or some other way?

I use google, forums that had advertisements, or i look at 'link first' and 'link back' posts.

Searching, waiting. When you find something that is interesting, you invest and see if you can influence it with things you like.

Lots of roleplay searches. And waiting. Occasionally pitching stuff to my Skype friends.

Just trying out loads of things. Eventually you're bound to find some people that are really on the same wavelength as you are. And eventually you also get a pretty clear idea on what kind of plots you enjoy most and stuff like that.
