A few questions, can we make our own Pureblood Families, or do we need Original Characters that belong to one of the established houses?

What type of pets can we have? Is something like a snake or an avian other than an Owl allowed?

Are we allowed to have special abilities, like Parseltongue, natural Legilimency, or being a Metamorphmagi?

I think I can answer a few of those Chancellor Palps
Most people are in fully original families atm, including pure bloods. And one of our members is a metamorph, if I remember right.

What HerculePyro said is correct.

1. Original is fine. Preferred even.

2. Owl, cat, or toad if you want to bring a pet to Hogwarts, unless special permission is granted (i.e. your character really needs a specific service animal due to special circumstances explained to the headmaster). No bringing brooms first year either. Breaking rules come with its own consequences if caught =p

4. Sure. Though try not to stack too much.

Letters are sent only to UK magic kids, but your character can be from anywhere so long as they request to attend Hogwarts and bring documented proof of magical aptitude.
