Outside Sides Scrap Emporium
Rota was awfully quiet for the remainder of the journey from the security doors of the middle carriage and a few steps away from his store, when Rota finally spoke. Something about firing her the dokkalf stopped literally mid step to turn to look at Rota with a most perplexed look "what on earth are you talking about Rota? why on earth would I fire you??" he said walking closer to her taking her hand in his "you can still protect me you know.. just not in the normal sense what about all the firearms you have, and there is something I have been working on which I think you will really enjoy."
"now I'll not hear another word of this silliness of me dismissing you lets get inside first and make sure the store is in order and I have a feeling that things are going to get a great deal worse having all these extra people shoved in this middle carriage." Unlocking the roller door of the entrance and stepping inside there were already more people mulling around the streets looking for places to stay and or squat, it wouldn't be too long until others would turn to looting or petty theft. The shop was still intact thankfully, tossing the bent pipe into a scrap iron pile, dragging on his tool belt. Grasping something from under the counter it was shiny as it was carefully polished and sharpened.
Grasping it with two hands and walking back over to Rota where she had taken her usual place of guarding, placing the base of the pole-arm on the metal ground in front of her. "I know you like your baton but this is a little more fitting for a guard, there is something else I'm working on but I'm going to need a lot more time and some pretty sepcialised parts first. "now cheer up we need to get back to our rooms to check them next, before making our way back here."

The dark haired woman still had her head clasped in her hands, the bad thoughts whirling to the point she could barely think at all. Her normally observant gaze missing as he reached under his bench and pulled something out before walking to her. The once-valkryie only lifted her golden eyes which were still wet as she heard the thunk of the metal base against the ground. Peering up to the Spear as her eyes widened in surprise. He.. made her a weapon? Whatever for? Her mind started to echo his words from earlier. He... wasn't going to fire her? Even after learning of her condition?
Her face started to relax a fraction as she stood up to her full height before him, looking down on him now as her hands reached out and grasped at the spear. She curled her fingers hard around the bar lifting it up and down slowly to judge it's weight. Then suddenly she crouched down and pulled it behind her shoulder before launching it right over the Dokkalf's shoulder and body, to which it thud against the Shop Front door, watching the bar wobble once it had landed in the material of the door. Her aim straight where a normal Human's heart would be nestled. She looked back to the Dokkalf with a serious expression with broke into an oddly soft smile. "It... is made very well. The balance is perfect for the length and it soars well." Stepping closer to him before she in a very bold and sudden move, slipped her arms in under his own and curled around his back, dragging the man into her frame as she held him in a tight hold.
Her cheek resting on the top of his head. "I... was scared of having to go back home... to the Western Mountains. I'll do whatever it takes not to go back... I..." she paused for a moment, but she had already started so she may as well continue right? "I... am a Valkrie. That is why when we... that one time.. I knew the next morning. But I couldn't tell you because... this train is all I have now. I didn't want to go back home..." Looking to the ceiling and sighing gently. "My wings were torn. Ripped straight from my back. In the Lower Carriage. I had Raven wings, like my hair... a black market for feathers so sleek. Valkryie feathers. I didn't know... I should have known they would target my wings. But I didn't... I tried to fight them traditional. Using sword and shield... they overwhelmed me..." She paused then feeling like she had already said to much. Her eyes drifting closed. "I should have told you when you first hired me... but no one knew... and I didn't want anyone to find out."
