Jecklyn & gogojojo331

The pair quickly reached the crashed pod, and Kelly stepped inside, looking around at everything. She hadn't gotten a good look before, but now she saw how advanced everything was. She turned to Kota, face blank. She didn't know what to take or how to fix anything, or even what half the stuff did.

Kelly stayed where she was, bare toes intertwining with each other.

"I assume the cussing means bad things? Can you fix it? We can use one of the bigger pods to drag it back into the city, where there are more parts and tools lying around." She paused, gazing around. "Or maybe just bring things in from it? Are you looking for anything in particular? What does it look like?" She began going through the pod, looking for something that seemed important.

"I think first, We need some materials from the city to fix the power converter and stabilizer. Then we need fuel so the computer can run diagnostics. " He got up and stretched his back.

Kelly stopped looking, standing beside the pilots chair.

"Theres a big reservoir of fuel we could get to." She said, scratching her nose. "And there are lots of pods and other things that we could salvage parts from. Hopefully there isn't too big a tech gap." She moved back to the floor walker, sitting back in the chair.

"I guess grab what you need from here and then we can head back, salvage parts and then come back to fix it."

((We could skip to having the crashed pod in the city, so Kota could look over it completely with the resources inside))

((Right, I'll assume we've skipped two hours or so.))

Kelly sat against a building, watching Kota move around his crashed pod. She knew she wouldn't be much help, as she didn't know much about technology in the city, let alone advanced technology. Standing up, kelly walked beside the other, pointing to a random part of the ship.

"Whats that do?" She asked, looking expectant.

"It provides artificial air into the ship." he aid, as he attached some other parts with what tools he had that weren't waterlogged. He sighed a bit.

Kelly sat where she was, continuing to watch him work.

"You said after a little bit someone would try to contact you. Can't you just wait until then and then wait for them to pick you up?" She questioned, leaning back so her hands were behind her head and she was staring at the dome straight ahead.

"I mean, they can't just leave you on an island thats supposedly uninhabited, and has been for several years. For all they know, everything could have been destroyed by a freak tsunami, or earthquake."

"They have been know to before." He said to you and smiles. "But..." He typed in a bit of code and the ship glimmered to life. "I've got the machines up, and they should work on communications."

Kelly sat up again, crossing her legs and tilting her head.

"So..." She hesitated, scratching behind her ear. "What happens if you can't fix your ship and your bosses don't come for you?" She stood up, leaning against the ship to peer inside as the buttons and screens whirred.

"We stay here and make the most of it." He said in a bit of defeat and acceptance. "Or we could try and get out ourselves."

Kelly screwed her face up, looking to Kota with an almost pained expression on her face. She hid it quickly, though, her face falling into a blank expression.

"It'll be best if I stay down here, I think." She stated, looking back to the control panels. "I'm sure you can't wait to get off this rock, but I'm quite cozy on my own."

He didn't believe that was true in the slightest. Though she thought she hid her face, her reflection in the mirror showed it all. A bit of,...Possibly fear of leaving this place. That she may never see this place again. Imagine the culture shock that she would have...

"So its true that your main goal is getting off earth." Kelly stated it rather than asked, stretching her arms above her head. "Then I will help you, whichever way I can."

"N-N-n-no!" He looked at her, and held her hand. "I don't mean that I want to leave you...I want to take you with me, or bring people here! it seems nice.."

Kelly sucked in a breath, letting it flow past her lips in a low whistle. She turned away from the craft, sitting once again on the ground.

"I'll help as much as I can to get your ship space worthy." She said finally, after a long silence. "What you do after that, it can come after that."
