"...well, some things are the same, some are different. Most of the money goes to exploration tech but we do have highly adaptable A.I..." He looked down and mumbled to himself "…to a point…" he sighs and looks around. "We do have robots though. Rumors about truly humanoid robots we're going to made soon." He yawned.

Kelly fell silent, not expecting such an honest answer. Noticing the yawn, She stood up and sighed.

"It'll take to long for one of these rooms to warm up for you to sleep in tonight." She stated, moving to the heat dials on the wall, turning it on. "Tonight you can bunk in my room. But then you're living in here."

He shrugged, and followed her to her room. "I was not gonna lie to you." He said to her. "I think we should be honest about everything if you and I are gonna survive..." He looked at her.

She almost glared back.

"I've been surviving on my own, thanks." She said, trying to remember if it were rude or not. She pushed the door open, revealing the cluttered room. There was a bookcase in the corner, filled with books and movies. A television sat beside the door, across from the makeshift bed on the window seat. Fish items were everywhere, from bowls to necklaces to books and figurines. Kelly blushed somewhat, remembering back to just earlier that day when she thought no other living person would see her room. She pointed to the bent mattress beside the window, piled high with blankets and pillows, but no bedsheets.

"You can sleep there." She stated, pulling all but two of the blankets off and dragging them to the corner along with a few pillows, making a kind of nest and sitting in it.

He nodded. "What? No video games?" He looks at you and chuckles. "It's so small.... Why not move to a bigger house-ah!" He shivered as he touched the floor. It was a bit wet and cold to the touch. He wondered if she had a shower or dryer and washer. What did she do to not be alone? To not feel alone?

"No. Never took much interest in them." She admitted, curling up in her nest of pillows and blankets.

"I do active things instead. I go climb a building. What do you call it... Parkour? I got really good at that." She stretched once before curling up again, barely visible among the fabric.

"Yea, its parkour." He said, curling up and nuzzles, trying to find warmth. "Well... Goodnight..." He heard the creaking of the gears in the city, and heard a song over the intercom. "What's that?" He said, looking up and around.

Kelly opened one eye, listening.

"Sometimes you'd hear whales past the glass, and it scared people. So they play music to mask it." She said, curling up tighter. "The only reason why it still plays is I haven't found the off switch. The whole city is powered by solar panels on the beach. I'm sure a few have broken down by now, but it'll take years upon years to get them to stop generating energy for the city.

He nodded. He thought about that....the sea? This is where he'll spend the rest of his moths here? No freaking way...but strangely enough...he was not so angry. He closed his eyes, and tried to get some sleep

Kelly had gone to sleep no slower than she usually did, used to the sounds outside and the song in the city.

She was first to wake up in the morning, confused as to why she were on the floor in her nest of fabric. Looking over to her mattress, she was reminded of the crashed ship, and her new guest. Silently, she stood up, headed for the gardens at the base of the bottom.

The wet footsteps woke Kota up and looks around, sneezing and choking a but, and got up slowly. "Where are you going?" He said to her, following her to the garden, and noticed that this area was cleaner than most of them... Maybe to avoid any bacteria?

Kelly didn't respond, but simply knelt down to the ground, collecting a leafy green vegetable. She looked around as she put the greens in a basket, noticing the peas. She grinned then, bringing the basket with her as she sat on the dirt and started picking the pods off the vine.

"Those are your favorite, I presume?" He looked around for the fruit section. It was strange, the quiet....the sound of his footsteps and only one other person... This would be his sound for the rest of the months...

Excitedly, Kelly took a few pods up to her new companion, grinning widely.

"You've never had them fresh off the vine, have you?" She used her nails to pry one open, holding a pea up for Kota. "I've also got some grapefruit, theres a few pineapple plants over there and a tangerine tree."

He takes a pea and eats it. His eyes widen at how good they are. So fresh...he smiles a bit, as if tasting the dreams that his father made... The dream of what it was, not what it is now.... He takes one of his own, and eats it

Kelly makes a noise of satisfaction deep in her throat, her nose screwing up.

"I love fresh peas." She stated, taking Kota's hand and placing the rest of the pods she brought over in it, moving to pick the rest.

"I thought we'd take a floor walker and get some of your stuff from your ship today." She called, not looking over. "You probably have more technology and stuff in there you'd like to have."

"Sure!" He said, smiling for her. Her happy was very interesting and warming to him. He helped her pick up some more peas. Was this what his ancestors did? It seems fun now,the idea of not letting robots get it for us, but it would be annoying for the old people...

Kelly and Kota picked the rest of the fresh peas, Kelly pointing to the ones that weren't quite ripe. When finished, Kelly stood up and brushed her hands on her shorts, the basket of peas beside her.

"Right. We'll move these inside, and then take a floor walker to your ship." She picked up whatever baskets were there, quickly moving inside a nearby building. She reappeared, motioning to the gates.

"Shall we?"

He nodded and followed after her. Kota looked around in wonder as the luminescent lights flickered on and off a bit. "Is that a malfunction?" He looked at her. "How long has that happen-" as soon as he said that, he heard a jingle over the intercoms in the city. "Good day!" Said the voice of a girl. It seemed to be robotic... "It is time for the daily announcements."

Kelly didn't flinch when the voice sounded over the intercoms, and instead picked a set of keys off the wall, spinning them around her finger as she walked to a pod, climbing in and pressing buttons. She looked to Kota, registering his question and the odd voice as it continued to speak.

"The lights have always flickered. Just something in the system. And the morning announcements just say what the weather and temperature up top is. Its automatic. I like knowing whats going down on the surface." She turned the key in the pod, giving a blank look to the man. "Well, I need you to know what to bring back."

"I'm not exactly sure..." He said to her. " I need to check the ship, and even then, I need to be here for... 3 weeks before they allow my clearance back in the station..."

Kelly shrugged, leaning back in the chair and pointing to the back.

"Well, climb in and we'll go from there." She said, fingers at the ready.

He went inside. As they rose to the ship, the elevator spaT out horrible jingles. Elevator music was the worst kind of music because it came with a sort of mocking sound to those who were on it, as if to say 'hehe, you're moving slow! What are you gonna do, take the stairs!? We know that's not true'. He took some more snap peas, and ate them.
