There needs to be a dislike button so I can dislike that post =[
The sad part about it is that Saturday's are usually so quiet that I can be on the site- I just don't have Teamspeak on my computer here (for obvious reasons >_>)

Well, I am definitely able to make it today. Unless something unforeseen happens.

Some things have suddenly come up, so I don't know whether or not I will be there, or be there for the entire time. It really is up in the air right now, but I will try to make the best of things. :D

Ok, so I will be late, probably one or two hours worth, but I might make it for the last parts, that is, if I am still allowed to join that late into the game.

Hey Guys, random question.

What do you want out of D&D? What's the appeal to you? What do you want to do with your character? Are there things you would like in game (besides magical things) such as Daniels Sand and Eadrics Coins?

I want a feel for what you guys enjoy so I can mold the world and the game to suit that better and appeal to everyone.

I.... honestly get the most enjoyment enjoyment out of doing things that usually make it in to quests. Uncovering and exploring ancient ruins (and looting them bare), finding out more about the lost history of the world, making a better difference in the lives of the common man, earning the respect and/or fear of those in power, that kind of thing.

While I've never had a chance to bring it up in relevant context, Rine's current endgame goal is to find a way to guarantee the autonomy and continuation of the human race. His biggest fear is the extinction or enslavement of humanity. Offscreen, he's putting a lot of time and effort in to finding ways to refine and supercharge a Wish spell so the can bring about that goal. This recent pact has him on edge, so he's probably going to contact his grandfather Kemek the Archmage and get his opinion on it before continuing with that line of research.

I mainly agree with Jay Tee's first paragraph. However I mainly focus on the "Day-to-day Struggle" of being an adventurer. Any "Glory" or "Reputation" will come with the necessary endeavors of being said adventurer. In this case, we're accepting jobs at a board. The only thing I'd like to see happen more is the side-questing thing. Everything should mesh well together. Like the storm-giant ordeal, I think every 'easy' job should probably have a 'hard' extra quest. And also, every hard quest, should have an easy quest as well. Of course a simple quest is good down time. Simple objectives. Simple goals can be fun if made right.

My goal for my hero is to have him riding a neon-pulsing, rainbow-dolphin with a mead-spewing trident held high as a storm of dead dragons rain down from the skies and turn into well-crafted burgers upon contact with the ground / houses.

In all seriousness, he's just adventuring to make a name for himself. Like many, he could fail. But his struggles are all I'm concerned about. xD

I agree mostly with Morridan.

I always love my micro-plots to have a point in the story. It always interests me on how the small things and choices that we make may effect the element of the story and how it progresses in sort of a pick-your own adventure sort of way. Which sounds really complex, but I just want a small nod back to things that weave together into a cool macro-plot that leads to big boss cult mans or something.

A good example would be if that random couple I married on the first day showed up again xD

Morridan's storm giant example's also really cool.

I also still want our items to combine into a captain planet-esque deal but :>

that's jus' me bein silly

Mm. Well, this is a my first time playing a DnD Game. Honestly, I sometimes stumble through a few of the bits, having to reask questions and having to continuously look at my skills for rolls, but I can also say that I am having a fun time going along the random quests. Kind of like what Morridan and JayTee discuss, I simply enjoy the day to day things we encounter and react to the best of our abilities, or lack of abilities. I think the way we are going on about things now is just the right pace for me, as a beginner, and I am enjoying each session very much.

My only real goal for Hame is to have a amazing collection of everything. I want all of the powerful knickknacks, and otherwise, I just want to have him be much more useful in battle and as a character. I will hopefully be able to get better at using the various skills I gave him. Also, my other end goal is for Pebble to have a happy ending, and for him to never drown.

Long live Pebble!

Next weeks session is going to rock. I've done a lot of planning for it, so hopefully you make it :P It will likely be the full 4 hours, and we may not get through everything, but we'll see how the dice roll when the time comes.

Specifically Inquisitor & Demensia - If you can be around about 10 minutes early I'd like to go over some stuff with you pre-session to help you figure out where you are, how you got there, etc...

I am going to be away this saturday as well, most likely. This will hopefully be the last saturday I miss consecutively.

Damaged you're too young to have Valentine's Day Plans!

Hmmm... I could look at delaying the session till Sunday?

Or possibly cancel if this many will be busy.
