Angel chuckled some "Because we didnt have the money for one.....maybe for Christmas we can pick one out at the pound yeah?" He said happily to her

Max nodded some and went to get dressed for the day. She took his hand as they left and smiled some kissing his hand as she took it in hers.

Lyla nodded some and sat at the table while angel made breakfast seeing carmen eventually get down there looking tired still just munching away on her toast and watching the world go by. She’d be off school for the rest of the week because of yesterday’s incident and now she just looking forward to like a mini holiday.

He headed out to one of the cars with her smiling some, taking her out into the town they were staying in to get something to eat.

Angel smiled some at Carmen placing a plate down for her "Hey beautiful breakfast is ready." He said happily before he sat with Lyla and ate his food happily

Max smiled some kissing his hand has he drove watching the outside world pass by "Remember how we met? At my cousin's party?" She asked looking over at him.

He shook his head. “Not really... I think I was too drunk to remember anything.” He smiled at her some.

Carmen rolled her eyes and thanked him some just burying her face in her hand while she ate still not with it yet. She’d barely slept in the end and she wasn’t awake not.

Max laughed softly squeezing his hand gently "You were out back smoking wanting to be away from everyone...we started talking and I woke up with you in my bed." She said giving another small laugh

Angel smiled softly as Lyla finished and cleaned her plate up "Go get dressed alright? Im gonna take you to help clean up the horses." He said softly

He smiled at her some. “Oh yeah? I seem to recall you seducing me.” He mumbled and winked at her smiling.

Lyla frowned a bit. “I don’t wanna go do the horses today.” She told him sighing heavily when he just pointed at the stairs.

Carmen watched her go up and just moved to squish’s closer to angel, resting her head on his shoulder while she lazily ate her breakfast. “I don’t think I’m going to go in today.” She mumbled frowning.

Max gasped and gave a small laugh "Well I mean I had to atleast try. Not everyday I got to see such a handsome guy around." She said kissing his cheek gently while he parked

Angel gave a small nod kissing the top of her head "You feelin alright mamí?" He asked quietly

She shook her head frowning some. “I just feel sick.” She mumbled tiredly. “But I don’t know if it’s because I’m so tired.” She explained to him quietly.

He smiled shaking his head. “You has beer goggles on.” He teased her and got out, taking her hand while they walked inside.

Angel gave a small nod and sighed softly "Well you rest all day today okay? I wont be gone too long." He murmured

Max walked inside with him and gave a small laugh "Nah. I was seeing straight." She said kissing his cherk again before they sat down at a table

She nodded and yawned a bit, kissing his cheek and heading back up to bed to go curl up under a blanket.

Lyla finally got back down looking grumpy but ready to be at the yard, putting her headphones on. “I wanna go see poppa tonight.” She told him as they got in the car.

Coco smiled tiredly at her and held her hand gently while they looked over menus. “I need to make a call when we’re done. Just a courtesy thing.”

Max nodded some as she looked over her menu "Do whatever you gotta do babe." She said softly smiling sone as she looked at him

Angel nodded some and gave a heavy sigh "Alright we can do that." He said quietly as he drove to the yard

“Is Carmen not gonna work today?” She asked him frowning as they got there and she got out, putting her headphones away but kept her phone in her pocket.

Coco nodded and sighed some. “For now though, all yours.” He murmured softly to her.

Angel shook his head some as they went inside "She wasnt feeling very good." He said to her heading straight to Herbie

Max smiled some giving a nod to him. Once they were done with lunch she walked out with him frowning as they saw a few cops start to head into the restaurant.

Lyla frowned some and watched him. “Daddy used to always start off by stretching his legs out.... I remember cause he got kicked in the nuts once on accident” she giggled.

Coco frowned keeping his head low and pulled her in close taking her straight to the car, pulling out of the lot before picking his phone up to call carmen and let her know what was going on.

Angel nodded and busted out laughing "He has done it on multiple occassions." He said giving Herbie a stretch

Max sat in the car quietly while he called whoever it was he needed to call.

Coco finished it quickly as he could then took Max home, walking inside with her and taking her up to their room, wrapping his arms around her tightly.

Lyla nodded some and yawned waiting til he gave her instructions on what she was gonna have to do.

Max held him as they got to their room and ran her fingers gently through his hair "We leaving after Jon gets out?" She asked quietly knowing they would need to move soon. They had been at his house nearly a month now.

Angel arrived home midday having done everything he needed to with Lyla. He went up to check on Carmen but frowned seeing her sat at the the edge of the bed completely zoned out like she har just been told the worst news.

Carmen glanced over at him and frowned some. “Hey... uh... good morning?” She mumbled reaching out to him. “We uh... I need to talk to you.” She mumbled rubbing at her face.

Coco nodded. “Kinda... we got a few more jobs here then we move on.... only problem is how close we are to where she moved to.” He muttered frowning some, pulling her in close to lay with him.

Max nodded and layed with him kissing his cheek gently "Lets just hope he doesnt find her." She murmured softly

Angel sat with her and frowned some "Whats wrong babe?" He asked quietly

He frowned not saying anything else. After how everything went down he still felt partially responsible so he was taking this harder than he thought he would.

Carmen frowned and shook her head starting to cry a little. “I’m so sorry... I thought I was safe!” She sobbed shaking more.

Max gave a soft sigh and kissed his cheek gently "Its going to be okay babe I promise." She whispered stroking his face while she stared at him.

Angel wrapped his arms around her instantly when she started crying and held her close to him "Babe what do you mean? We are safe." He whispered

She shook her head and frowned some. “No.... no I haven’t.... THERES something you should know.” She whimpered and held him tighter.

He frowned but nodded and just kept her close, kissing her head. “What did she look like?” He asked her.

Max frowned softly and raised an eyebrow "Who are you talking about babe?" She asked quietly

Angel frowned more and rubbed her back soothingly "Talk to me babe what is it?" He asked hoping she was okay.

“Our daughter.” He mumbled looking at her frowning some. He’d not pryed once since she’d been there but he was curious now.

Carmen frowned some shaking a bit. “I left... I left a really bad life behind.... far far behind me a few years ago... about six months before I met you... my boyfriend went to prison for murder... I was the one who made sure he ended up there. Apparently he got good behaviour cause he’s getting out this week.... Clay he’s gonna come after me.” She whimpered. “I need to get away from you and Lyla.... it’s not fair on you.” She sobbed.
