Ash frowned at the orderly and looked to her friend

Jason looked at her apologetically, "ill explain later." He kissed her check then followed the man away. Savannah watched them take Jason, she had hoped they where taking him away, but unfortunately she knew he was only going to court.

Ash whimpered, and gently pushed her full plate away,pushing herself onto her crutches as she watched him leave

Savannah decided it would be better to just let Ash figure things out in her own. She couldnt help someone who didnt want her help.


Jason sat listening to the judge. The prosecution . He watched as they displayed evidence against him for the death of Wynter. For attempted murder on Savvy. A cruel smile remained on his face the entire day.

Ash limped to her room and shut the door behind her

It was around five when Savvy got up the nerve to knock on her friends door. "Ash?" She whispered. In her hands she held a small bouquet of flowers from the garden. Some pinks, greens, and purples, Savannah used to work for a florist so she decided that would be a good way to apologize. She knocked again.

Ash jolted out of her thoughts when the door knocked and, leaving her crutches, hobbled over and opened it

Savannah held the flowers out to her, "im sorry." She looked down, "i realize I shouldnt say things like that." She sighed.

Ash gently took the flowers, and gestured for her to come in. She placed the flowers on the side, and looked to her, "Its fine"

Savannah nodded following her in quietly

Ash watched her as she settled back on her bed

Savannah stood akwardly against the walk, "I apologize to you, not him, and I cant bring myself to be nice to him. But ill stop all the crazy for you." Savvy looked at her," you are the only person ive wanted to be friends with and I can't throw that away.

Ash smiled softly at her, her good eye gleaming. She nodded to her, "you don't have to apologise"

Savannah nodded.

Ash curled her good leg to her chest, her casted one held out before her.

Savannah looked towards the door, "I should go." She began walking out if the room.


The jury had decided to break for deliberation. He would face then in three days for the verdict. He sighed following the cops back to the vehicle and back to the institute.

Ash watched her silently, and sighed softly. She stared at her cast in annoyance, wishing she could have it took off now

Jason changed back into the uniform scrubs and then headed out to find Ash. He knocked on her door before entering, "hello?" He asked softly, his voice was rough but he managed to sound sweet.

Ash looked up at him and smiled, watching him. She shakily stood without her crutches and limped to him

Jason smiled hugging her, "how was your day?" He asked softly.

" 's fine" Ash mumbled, hugging him back

Jason pulled back, he carried her back to the bed sitting beside her

Ash looked at him and cuddled close

Jason smiled, he had won and yet again Savvy lost.
