It is a Glorious Thing (IC) [The Pirates of Penn'Zannce]

The blast from Sana's essence cannon hits the remaining tentacle right in the middle, cutting it into two neat pieces. Staring at the party, V'neef Palemo stammers in shock. "You... how...?"

"Kiss my arse, Palemo." Lano retorts, breaking into a run before leaping the gap between the ships. "Permission to come aboard, captain?" The woman asks Shiva, saluting ironically.

Ce'Relinia hovers there as she slowly backs up towards her current home, she watches the monks with a flat expression.

One threat removed, can the last one be dealt with. They might think twice with Sana and her weapon. Though that also means they might come straight at her now. Was it wise to let her fight? It was her choice though.

"Do you wish to further your fight against us," she shouts to the other craft.

Silent, Sai'pan approaches Shiva, and stands close to her, his moonsilver chain daiklaive ready to be swung in her defense, should the Dragon-blood try to make any move. He knew he can die for this, let alone for wielding such a weapon, but the battle against the tentacled creature emboldened him, as did the promise of alcohol.

With the battle ended, Sana fell onto her knees, her essence cannon clattering to the floor in front of her. She closed her eyes, propping herself up with her hands. Somehow, they had made it through fine, but she tried not to think about how close they had been to danger.

Myllinnia said:

"Yes!" Palemo shouts, before getting punched in the head by one of the other Immaculates.

"No. No, we're not all stupid." The other says, looking worried.

The third monk shouts orders to their helmsman to steer away from the pirate vessel. As the gap widens, those of you who are looking can see a splash on one side of the V'neef ship. What do you do now?

Ce'Relinia lands onto her ship's deck with a frown and looks to the others. "What do you think, shall we count this day done and return to safer waters. I will not fight them if they do not wish a fight. Likely they will not have much in the way of things to take."

Sai'pan looks relieved that it doesn't come to battle. He was certain he wasn't ready for a confrontation with immaculate monks.

"Want me to set a course to a safe place? We might not have gotten any loot, but it was certainly an experience."

Still shaking slightly from the battle, Sana watches the others with a slightly concerned look on her face. She still doesn't quite understand what is happening, but she feels slightly calmed by the sight of the other ship moving away. The less fighting they had to do, the better.
