  Welcome to the Island of the Lost, dear players!

  
  
  While enjoying your day out and about, you are suddenly snatched up from behind and pulled into a van, losing consciousness along the way. Lightly bound, gagged, then thrown in an air crate, you are awoken by the sound of a plane as it rumbles through the sky. Darkness is what greets you when you wake up, and the sound of the plane engines further assist you with the process. You are only able to properly assess what is happening before you suddenly feel yourself rolling forward and drop off into the air. As your box wildly tumbles towards the earth, fear is the only emotion you feel when you crash against the oceans waters and your crate shatters apart, knocking you out once more. When you awaken again, you are on a sandy beach with the sun beating down on your skin and gulls squawking above.

  This map shows different landmarks of the island, but beware as the further into the island one goes, the more dangerous it gets. Player do not access to the map, but sponsors do.   You are to survive! Run around like little mice and entertain us!

  
  
  Players are the entertainment to the Wealthy(Sponsors) and the lifeblood of the island. They are what brings in the cashflow and causes more sponsors to come flowing in. Winning players are granted massive rewards to themselves and their families, and the rewards double if you are a returning player to the game. Because of this, the poorer community is split between viewing being selected as an honor and being selected as a death sentence.

  PARTICIPATING

  The MuscleheadA thick bodied, muscle stacked individual who would rather lift weights and show off then much of anything else. At least, thats what was shown on the surface. Below the surface, they have a darker side that they are so desperately trying to hide. Whether they are a hidden killer, a kleptomaniac, or something entirely different they used body building to attempt to distract them from their impulsive urges.

  The BookwormQuiet and observant while their nose is in a book, they find solace when they are reading. However, they are also quite savvy when it comes to ranged combat and being able to analyze their opponent during a fight. They make great strategist if they are not put in a bad mood..

  The SurvivalistThis player was raised for this moment, as their family has had past survivors in their family tree. Though they were not always accepting of this life, believing they would never be selected if they kept the lowest profile ever. However, when they found themselves on the island, they were very freaked out.

  
  

  The Timid VillainA person who is truly mischievous even to their family and friends. They started out small, but found that the bigger the went the better feeling they had towards the reactions. Currently, they are posing as a timid and frightened person while they continue to ruin plans and cause dangerous situations to happen.

  
  

  Returning Player 1A player who is returning after winning for two years in a row is now returning after a long break. They are confident in their skill, but arrogant at the fact that they have won. They find that the new comers are just new playthings to them and arrogantly decides to hunt them all down. They find the most recent winner a thorn in their side due to their traumatized look and constantly messes with them.

  
  

  Returning Player 2A returning player who has returned after winning last year. They are still traumatized by the horrors they had to face from the previous season so much so that they are silent like stone. They have a tendency to disappear without a trace for days on end to get a head start on their progress. they have a bad relationship with the previous winner and finds themselves taunted by them often.

  Sponsors are the piggy banks to both the game and society. Their continued willingness to fund the game has caused the actual creators behind the scenes to exploit them for their entertainment while their money used to buy points is processed to fund the poorer classes. The sponsors know nothing about this, and would rather gossip about their players and gamble on their survival then worry about what is going on with their money. Sponsors are not to send gifts to players other than their own. Any sponsor seen doing so will face immediate ejection into the game and all funds taken. However, sponsors can attempt to sabotoge other sponsors by throwing challenges at the players on the island. This also will include their own player.

Extras - This island roleplay is modeled off of The Hunger Games and Lost. There will be strange events that happen every so often while everyone tries their best to survive the island and gain tremendous bonuses from outside wealth called Sponsors. Things can change as the roleplay progresses, and the community is encouraged to get involved via DM's for now to give ideas about events, prizes, and such to help out the players in this twisted game.
