Mmm, since the rp hasn't started I think it's fine for it to adapt to anything. So long as it stays within the themes. We could pick a new gm and they could get a run down of how the general plot was going to go from the former gm. Or this could be a group collaboration thing where everyone pitches in ideas and things they wanna do!

im also down for helping, i was gonna second that with the way the basic plot was set up so loosely it wouodnt be hard to pretty much just. run it in any direction
im new to this site so im not familiar with the rp culture, but on the site i came from there was a whole genre of rps that were, honestly, pretty much unmoderated. people would just join and group up ic and plot their own little stories, and op was kinda only involved for big disputes like godmodding/powerplaying, and sometikes coming down on ppl who joined as too op, though even that was rare fir the style of rp i was joining
i actually ran a lot of rps like this, since i liked how much freedom there was to them
but the adventurers guild being a focus is a great place to start, since it could branch out to anything from grand world saving nonsense to personal character arcs

Well I guess if everybody is willing to help, I could probably mod this rp, I just hope I don’t get left in the dust like all the other ones I play in, due to me working night shifts

I mean I already have an idea for everyone’s characters to meet up at the adventurers guild after they each have done a job, that’s if everyone is ok with it

This sounds like a good start to me.

Also, since the rp is meant to be less restricting than a normal rp and more open world I think I might make a second character. A criminal or villain

The interest post also mentioned something about a possible war, right? That could be something to plot towards or that our characters may try to prevent it get involved with through the guild? Could start with either the whole group getting grouped up for a commission together. Or we can break out into smaller groups and each group gets to plot their own ideas or there can be a list of commissions to take that the mod or gm can make and we can pick which things we wanna do. Adventure guild seems really easy to take the direction anywhere

True but I don’t like doing something like this unless they’ve given their consent to me, just saying somebody can take over is not enough for me, it’s just how I am

If anyone is curious, if I do get permission to run this, I think the first conflict is that the adventures guild receives reports that elves, demons, and beastkin are being kidnapped from their homes and being sold into slavery

And if the gm stays to participate, I think I’ll give her vampire a cult, hehe
