Spruce|Human
Spirit Den
Spruce was a middle-aged wolf, being fifty years of age, but he certainly didn't look or act old at all. Waiting for the alien to show up, he headed up the path to the den and disappeared inside, two of his caretakers napping and sweeping the den with a broom made of twigs and dried rushes. The caretakers were a mix of human and werewolf, the wolves and wolf-kin not able to help with healing the pack. That was why they fell into subordinate ranks. "Indigo," he called to the woman sweeping the floor, said woman turning at Keeper's calling her. "Heat up the fire...this alien is joining the pack and Thanatos requests his branding."Spirit Den
The woman bowed her head and set the broom down before making her to a small heart created of bricks and clay in a corner, stacking a few logs up for kindling to start a fire. Spruce turned back towards Kage. "Take your shirt off please and lie down somewhere. I believe we have sticks here if you need to bite down on something for the process. Once the brand is cast, you'll be a member of the pack forever...unless your blacklisted and then the flesh will be cut out where the brand is and your ears notched."
Adam|Human
Sun Den
Adam shifted on his feet as he saw his father get up and shift into his human form, the beta coming over to him with balled fists as Adam looked up and listened to his father speak. The teen flinched as his father spoke about him leaving deliberately and yet saving the lives of his cousins and siblings, the alpha's heir. "Father angry Radish scarred," said Adam. "Thought mother and father angry lives lost, family hurt or injured so left...not ashamed of me," he said. As his father towered over him, Adam whined, shrinking in on himself as the beta started in on why he had brought an alien with him to the pack and the possiblity that Kage could overthrow the alpha to take over the pack. Father seemed more angry at the possiblity of Thanatos being overthrown and some stranger taking over the pack. Adam didn't think that Kage wanted to take over the pack, he certainly hadn't hinted at such when Adam had suggested they go back to his old pack. When his father finally pulled the omega into a hug, the teen's eyes widened in shocked surprise, not expecting this gesture of affection as his father said to never leave the pack again. Adam was unsure of what to say to that so he said nothing, his arms slowly coming up to embrace his father and return the hug. "I'm sorry father," said Adam. "I didn't know the bear would show up."
