Meave turned her mind to the others. "Four solars, a sidereal, and a lunar. I am unsure of what to make of them, I have no idea as to the state of this world now, but given one is also a chosen of Luna, I will give them the benefit of the doubt."
*Insert proud O Mighty Fat Cat Lunar Flex here.* =)

Psychie Psychie can I roll to see if Glade spots the raven, that I know is a Lunar but he doesn't? With Flight of Separation as his control spell, he expects to be able to talk to birds, and they tend to like him.

O Mighty Fat Cat still has his Charms up for Sight and Hearing, and being a jungle-raised creature, he is ever loathe to fully let his guard down - especially in new and uncertain territory where we just saw possible threats. If nothing else, Da Chonk is wary of them. =)

Might he get a roll?

Cost: 4m (or 1m); Mins: Perception 2, Essence 1
Type: Reflexive
Keywords: Stackable
Duration: One scene
Prerequisite Charms: None

The Lunar shifts her body to hone one of her senses. She chooses a single sense, rerolling 1s until they cease to appear on Perception rolls using it, and ignoring (Essence) points of penalty from overstimulation or under stimulation of that sense even on non-Perception rolls. She could ignore penalties to vision caused by darkness or blinding light, but not by fog or distance. The Lunar may stack this Charm to enhance different senses. The cost of activations beyond the first is reduced to one mote.

At this point, even with enhanced senses, all you can perceive is a rather ordinary bird. Until it does something out of the ordinary for a raven you have no reason to suspect that it is Maeve or any other Lunar.

Eonivar Eonivar

The flesh and bone airship is easily large enough to hold several people, so the unknown third corrupted Solar could very easily still be inside.

Okies. I have but one question to ask based on this data you provided:

It is huge, rising miles into the air and that doesn’t even count the space between it and the ground far below.
While I understand ravens can fly about 3 miles high...

Those with at least two dots of Survival will be able to note that while there is a healthy amount of birds making their homes in the trees, there are very few traces of the usual small animal life that you would expect to see in such heavy growth of trees.
... and that there are a good amount of birds up here (I imagine some being soaring migrating birds)...

... has O Mighty Fat Cat spotted any other ravens this high up?

Disclaimer! I'm not trying have Da Chonk somehow spot a Lunar in bird's clothing. All I'm saying is - I feel O Mighty Fat Cat, having been raised in jungles, forests, the Celestial Wildlands as his home for many years, just might notice a seemingly out-of-place bird like a raven "miles high" up here. But then again, if there are already flocks of ravens on this flying mountain, he wouldn't pay it any undue attention. Details matter including in the animal world. =)

Hmmm. That is certainly an interesting point. Let me think on this and I'll post soon.
Sure! Ultimately, whatever aids your story is what I'm after. Even if O Mighty Fat Cat should notice something, I would rather he not learn it if it gets in the way of your game, story, and the like. Everyone's fun matters to me! =)

Sure, that's fair enough. But what I originally meant was - even without knowing there's anything special about it, Glade can talk to normal birds and they usually like him; so if I saw this raven land having approached from the direction of the Abyssals, Glade might well see if it knows anything, or ask it to keep lookout for him.

After a bit of contemplation, I’ll give you this much. Both Fat Cat and Glade have noticed a general lack of birds in this specific spot, probably due to the general creepiness of the airship and the zombies. Also, there has not been many ravens in the area that you’ve seen so far, and this one seems to be watching your Circle. So with that much info for you, this one bird does stand out a bit.

I was considering having Maeve go over and talk to the non-corrupted exalts...but it may be more fun if Fat Cat and Glade started the conversation first...either way I am good.

Sounds like a plan.

On an unrelated note, I just noticed an interest thread for another 3e Exalted game featuring Lunars put up by Red Shadow Claws. Just in case anyone might be interested.

I have questions before I respond:

Is everyone present with Silent Glade when he speaks to Maeve as a raven? Or is it just Glade by himself, or is it Glade and Fat Cat?
Also, are they still close to and/or observing the Abyssals? Or did they back off?

My understanding of the scene - which may differ from reality and Psychie Psychie can overrule! - is that the whole circle is present, a ways up the hill from the Abyssals, discussing quietly what we should do. Glade has taken a step or two towards the raven, but is still very much with the circle; maybe a couple of metres away at most.

As much as I am anxious for Maeve to respond to Delilah’s rebuttal…I kind of want to see what the others think and react before I do.

This is wonderful drama!

Thank you for that! I get it; its hard to wait for others to post sometimes. Our patience will be rewarded.

The role of the Sidereal Exalted in the overthrow is nearly forgotten, hell, the Sidereal Exalts are almost unheard of. But with Glade’s Lore of 5, you would know bits and pieces that the Dragon Blooded had help of a group of Celestial Exalts, mostly to provide information aid as the Dragon Blooded committed the slaughter.

During the overthrow, there was two different factions of Sidereals: one storing the overthrow and the other that argued against it. Obviously that faction lost the fight as the winning one actively worked to kill the Solar Exalted and help set up the Wyld Hunt.

I'm as lost as my character in this, hence our lack of action. Carry on with happy gaming! I'll just go with the flow. =)

Don't underestimate your instincts, my friend. If you have a vibe to post, feel free to jump in and let your voice be heard!
