Yes. O Mighty Fat Cat it's completely against slavery. He won't make Deliveries for (I think it's called) The Guild because they traffic in slavery.

I feel that Del's response of dealing with these probable Abyssals is a negative one. She would be quite fine with taking a proactive approach and dealing with them in a decisive manner and removing them from the equation. Our immediate response, in my opinion, should reflect how the characters feel about those who traffic in the dead for labor.
For example, the reason Aredin supports the plan of wiping them out is because he assumes they are evil necromancers by default. Right or wrong for the setting as a whole, that was his lived experience prior to becoming an Exalt.
He is willing to try talking to figure out what is going on with them, but he doesn't like the risk of these assumed opponents/rivals learning anything that could be used against the circle.
Welcome, fellow Cog!
She looks between Grey Stone and Aredin, seeing one of these two as the de facto leaders of this group, and needing an answer from one of the two quickly.
The other players may be busy, or if they are like me, not getting alerts.Upon hearing no response, Del says,
That's a good point and I can relate. However, I have no idea how Da Chonk can further contribute to this scene.I haven't really been sure what to say. I don't exactly want to play Grey Stone as an old fool, after all, which I feel he's likely to come off as if Aredin's distrust of these people gets vindicated.
What knowledge are you looking to try and develop? About the undead, the probable Abyssal Exalts, or something else entirely? That's a good point and I can relate. However, I have no idea how Da Chonk can further contribute to this scene.
Hmm. Psychie ? Fat Cat has three dots in Intelligence and nothing in Lore or Occult. Could he make a roll of some kind to see if he knows something the Solars don't?
Anything the Solars haven't already brought up.What knowledge are you looking to try and develop? About the undead, the probable Abyssal Exalts, or something else entirely?
Fat Cat has not run into any of the Abyssal Exalted before, and has only heard stories. They are not necessarily evil, but they are servants of the Underworld and preach the ways of ancestor worship and the peace of the grave. Power-wise, they can be the equal of any Solar out there.Anything the Solars haven't already brought up.
Thank you. =)Fat Cat has not run into any of the Abyssal Exalted before, and has only heard stories. They are not necessarily evil, but they are servants of the Underworld and preach the ways of ancestor worship and the peace of the grave. Power-wise, they can be the equal of any Solar out there.
Remaining hidden near the excavating zombies, Glade takes the scene in, mentally recording every detail as he would a new tale for retelling to his villagers. He counts the zombies, as best he can when they repeatedly disappear underground. He takes note of the two - presumably - Exalts, trying to gauge their age and therefore experience. He spots the Soulsteel equipment - Abyssals then, most likely; perhaps even working for the returned Empress and her consort.
If possible, Glade will edge round so that he can look down into the excavation, to judge how deep they've got, how well they've dug, and how fast they're going. Any further intel on the Exalts would be great if he can draw any further conclusions, but staying hidden is his main priority right now. Once he's learned all he can, he returns silently to The Circle.
Psychie quick nudge on this.Psychie does Glade have any additional intel to Bring Back to The Circle? Happy to roll if I need to.
Oho. The circle top-side haven't seen the third one, right?three corrupted Solar Exaltations
Oho. The circle top-side haven't seen the third one, right?
Correct. From what you can see, there is just the two.Oho. The circle top-side haven't seen the third one, right?
There were no Abyssal Exalted until the Solar Exalted shards were freed from their prison and 100 of them were taken and corrupted into the death knights that now roam about. That was about five years ago.I too would like clarification on this just so I have Meave’s thoughts straight on this.
Also can you all confirm the lore here..as I am trying to understand things from the point of view of “First Age” (is it First age or Second age?) Maeve.
I thought that there were no Abyssals until after the Solar purge. Is that correct?
Also can anyone recommend an exalted pdf or book that would give me information on the First or Second Age? (Whatever age Maeve is coming from that occurred right before the Solar purge?)
