I personally prefer real or realistic images but feel free to use whatever suits you. I'm not picky when it comes to that sort of thing. And yes, you're more than welcome to create more than one character. Just know that acceptance of one doesn't guarantee you acceptance of another.

I'll judge to my personal tastes if I'm honest. I'm looking for character sheets that are well-written and decently developed with strong characters that have distinct personalities. I'm looking for a variety in the cast so maybe one gruff and tough artilleryman here and a super sweet engineer there. That sort of thing. I'll mainly focus on the writing sample and see how much detail you put into it to gauge whether or not I think your writing style is suited to this type of roleplay.

I just want to put it out there that I am really picky about my writing tastes so if I come across as conceited or anything, just tell me to get off my high horse xD I half-expect a novella of a reply in most cases because I love reading people's post just as much as I love responding to them

Convert it into Earth's system. Pangea's year ends up being ~40 days shorter than an Earth year, given that a Pangean day is around two hours shorter if you want to be specific about it. Otherwise, estimate. (^U^)

Maybe I should make a FAQ for this roleplay xD Each species has their own natural tongue and interspecies communication would depend on how often the two species interact. For example, maybe the head of the Catali tribe can speak with the Vensilans because s/he often handles business with them when they pass through their territory but common member cannot. The Catali are a nomadic tribe so they are hunter-gatherers. Within the tribe, there are many different jobs that a member could have. Performer could be one of them. Roles for the human exploration crew vary from engineer to captain to artilleryman to biologist to linguist. I'm not being picky about it as long as it makes sense for them to be sent on the mission.
