Fantasy Infinite Gear

Xyanus woke up on the little private airliner she had 'commandeered' buy the pilot through a intercom. "we'll be arriving in a few minutes" The grotesque mass of flesh she had shape-shifted into for maximum comfort started to retract with sounds of bones moving and contorting until she resumed her normal human form, the plane was noticeably lighter as the entire thing seemed to buckle a little. She checked the time with satisfaction. "Good just on ti-" It was until now did she feel the plane start to go back up. "wha- Whats going on!?" She yelled into the pilot cabin. "There's, been, uh, a delay. The control tower wants me to loop back around" "WHAT?!" She shape shifted into a bunch of blades and 'accidentally' tore up a bunch of the poor mans furniture in a fit of rage. "P-please ma'am calm down" Xyanus stormed off to find the exit and promptly tore the damned thing open. Letting un-pressurized air boom into the cabin she held on and once it seemed the air stopped she jumped. She didn't realize how fast planes were until she jumped cause the air port was a mile that way and the plane was going several miles the other. "Damnit!"

Forming a bunch of wings she flew with haste toward the air port fighting from both the drag and the speed that the airliner was going in. As she arrived at the air port she looked for her driver and limo storming around the terminal. She finally found him after a while and without introducing herself nor caring to learn about him they both went to the limo. unfortunately right as they were about to go they were caught in traffic, Xyanus was furious and almost imploded the limo but this time she practiced self control. (for once) instead she occupied herself with studying the 'academy' she was bout to attend much to her drivers relief.

it was some sort of prestigious academy where she had to attend to legally get herself these valuable things called 'gears'. Xyanus wasn't sure what they were or what they did but all she knew was that they were valuable to some extent. it was at this moment did the limo stopped suddenly did she break from her train of thought. "Whats the holdup?!" She knew she was somewhat late thanks to the delays from the plane she used to get here and she was not in a good mood, how dare they delay her flight?! She walked over to the window and opened it, the driver and her servant looked back. "There was a green skinned man attempting to kidnap an elderly woman ma'am" It was an unusual sight in this world to simply see that happen and but she was still unimpressed. "So? run them over!" The driver looked at her in shock and turned to the road where the elderly woman was still yelling at the greenskinned man who was running away, "uh, yes ma'am." He floored the pedal and promptly flattened the old useless woman. No doubt the authorities of this world will be looking for this limo soon. Xyanus sat back down as she felt the driver sweating bullets and his heart rate dipped she had no time for shenanigans.

she soon arrived at the train station where the crowd had all but dispersed, she got out of the limo and looked back at the driver gesturing him to put the window down. "Burn the limo and get yourself a new one" She then turned around not giving time to see her driver's expression nor his response and walked toward the train. Much to her irritation as soon as she walked up the steps the train had already closed its doors and started to roll off, with a loud sigh she walked to the edge of the safety line as the train cleared the station and unfurled her massive wings (they were shape-shifted out of existence until now) with the assistance of tentacles slamming the ground to jettison herself into the air she flapped her wings and in a few seconds she was high above the ground. She flew at astonishing speed above the train her wings silhouette covering the cars below. choosing a random car to land on her shadow that covered it shrunk and she landed with a loud "thunk!" and metal creaking. The roof didn't dent however and she walked toward the nearest door to open and enter.

Using Tentacles to dry the train door open she entered without much effort, much to her surprise and disgust it was an ordinary train without private cabins. She walked through it noticing a few glances at her and she heard a few conversations, she didn't care much for them as they were just introductions of irrelevant individuals, she sat down in an empty seat and closed her eyes wondering what she should do while stuck in a train full of dirty mortals. But she decided to simply listen and gather information.

Once the Train Arrived at the Academy Xyanus watched everyone get up with their stuff, She herself didnt have time to bring her stuff with her, that stuff would have to come later. so instead she was one of the first to walk out of the train and toward the courtyard. She saw one of the unusual students run toward it as if it were some race and then another with some sort of wolf behind him. "idiots" She said under her breath, she took the lead of the others who didn't think it was a race. At least she wasn't late however the amount of effort she had to exert was annoying to get here. It didnt look too impressive from first glance, it definitely didnt hold up to anything back home but in the mortal realm she supposed it was commendable.

Renae waited for the train to empty before she got up herself, slipping her earbuds back into her pocket. "Soon as my education's finished, I'm moving cities." She muttered, grabbing her pack from its shelf and sauntering after the others. The school was everything she'd hoped it be, even if some students were staring at it like resentful tourists. One such student was a few paces in front of her. Although Ren could only see her back, the 'meh' reaction was still clear. As she made to pass the student, however, Ren felt a flicker of recognition. "Hey- you're the person who hijacked the train." Ren folded her arms, recalling spotting the flying tentacle girl that forced her way into the adjacent car. "I sure hope you have a permit for flying in vehicle space." The staff's directions had been on point, the Arena was fast approaching.

Merrick finished the remainder of the train ride observing Renae's sketching with curiosity. He had no concept of what was good or bad art, Indeed Merrick himself was quite the philistine, neither understanding nor harboring a fondness for the arts. However watching someone draw something was incredibly interesting as he'd just discovered. The train arrived at Myer's pulling Merrick out of his rapt observation, he sighed heavily as he and the rest of the train rose to it's feet and shuffled out onto the platform.

"Christ.... here it comes." He muttered under his breath

From there Merrick broke away from the group making way for the arena, he wanted to get some distance between him and the din that would be his classmates. Loud they were, and dangerous they smelled, this brief train ride was all Merrick needed to evaluate whom he'd keep at distance, and who were a little less dangerous.

Kale put his book away once more as the train came to a stop outside of the school, grabbing his bag off of the floor and slinging it over his shoulder. He glanced out of the window and turned back towards the others. Kale smiled at them, though none of them would likely see it as he had dragged his scarf up over his lips.

"This was a wonderful ride, everyone. I can't wait to spend more time with you all over the coming days."

Stepping off of the train, Kale covered his eyes as the sun flashed him fully in his eyes, before finally getting a full view of the academy before him. He whistled quietly to himself as he heard the announcement, and started to make his way towards the arena, noting the other students he met all more or less headed in the direction of it.

Well, here we go. Time to get started on a new adventure.

----

Kalin stepped out after most everyone else had gone, the still wrapped protein bar hanging from his mouth as he followed the lines that were being formed. He watched everyone scatter he'd previously sat with scattering in their own directions, and blinked surprisedly in response. He noticed Silver Hair's umbrella in the crowd and Freckle's scent mingling with yet another old familiar smell. He even spotted the pale girl from earlier. They hadn't spoken, but he'd found her scent quite interesting...hers and most of the others. He cocked his head and shrugged, then smiled, as he came ever closer to the arena.

There sure are a lot of them, here at this school...

As students gathered into the arena, they would start to fill up the seats. The arena was a simple circular area with a ring in the center. This ring was particularly big and could fit a mini-forest inside. In any case, as students started to fill the seats, the staff members would start walking toward the center.

SirGrey SirGrey [This would mean your staff character as well.]

As what seems to be every staff member, one final person comes toward the center. It was a woman who looked to be in her middle-ages yet had a sort of youthful appearance. She had short black hair, wears black shades, and a suit befitting of a headmaster. Upon pulling up her shades she would look to the crowd.

"AHEM Greetings students! My name's Alyona Yura headmaster of Myer's Gear School."

"Alyona Yura..." "She's that lady who beat up Rexus Moore" "Holy cow I can't believe she's our headmaster" There would be clamors among the students. "Is it true that she fought Dai Enma and lived?"

'Sometimes it feels good to be popular hehe...,' she thought to herself. "In any case I'm sure all of you are wondering why I brought you here to the arena. The auditorium is currently being repaired due to... an unforeseen incident that occurred last week. Anyways I'd like to personally welcome you to Myers Gear School. We have looked at your records and accepted you for numerous reasons. While we're all here I'd like to make a few things clear." She would clear her throat and take out a sheet of paper.

"First things first. No fighting is allowed here with the exceptions of sparring, practice, using the arena, and the approval of a staff member. Failure to comply with this rule is guaranteed expulsion. If you even try to resist then enjoy prison. Second, you are allowed to carry any weapons that you have but just know that we can detect if someone is going to use a weapon. Don't even think about aiming a gun at a student's head as a joke. I'll beat you senseless if you do. Third, just enjoy yourself! Yes this place is a means to improve yourself and officially obtain your gear license but why not make some memories? One of the best things in life is creating new memories to be remembered over. Takes me back to the time I punched that brat Rexus in the face. HAHAHAHA!" Students would feel a bit awkward.

"I don't want to keep you all waiting so let me get to the final part. You can leave the school to access the train and go to the nearby towns and cities but we aren't responsible if you miss any important lessons and exams, especially the Gear License Approval Test. Thats all I have to say. You'll be lead to the living quarters and will have your room numbers assigned to you. Get going and enjoy yourselves!" She would suddenly vanish in a flash. Students would start leaving with staff members accompanying them.

Follow the staff members to the living quarters. React and talk about the orientation. That's all you gotta do for now.

  • An exceptionally powerful fighter and gear user whose name is famous in Astral. Currently headmaster at Myer's Gear School, Alyona Yura used to be one who dedicated her life to training and the arts. She is one of the one few people in history to evenly match Enma, Progenitor of the Asura Kingdom though whether or not anyone else but her can prove that is unclear. If any being can truly prove it then it would have to be the higher-class demons.

Franky had been doing the regular repairs before students arrived. Making sure the heating system was up to snuff, that the living quarters had all its bathrooms working. Finally just making sure all the train systems were working, though that was never and issue, with the money spent on that thing, there was more chance of Franky becoming an ace at knitting then that thing breaking down. Which was good when there is a bunch of highly advanced welding student about, somethings gonna break and when it does it falls to James Victor Rogers.

Looking at the time his rather oversized wrist watch, the homunculus eyes nearly darted out of his head "She'll kill me if I'm late god damn it" he muttered as the Frankenstein looking man ran towards the arena. Despite a few skewed eyes from some staff, Franky managed to get there in time without too much trouble, though that hedge bush might need redoing. Walking out, Franky was pleasantly surprised at the number of students who still attended the school. He understood why, they wanted to learn, wanted to gain access to gears want to prove themselves even with the rather intense training they could sometimes endure. Standing up to the side of the other staff, James listened to Yura's speech. She was very good at it, that and keeping the sometimes more unruly kids in order, but she only did that cause she cared which James would always respect her for.

After her a rather dramatic disappearance, which always left a few jaws open, James took up his position ready to helps the kids to their new living area. "This way come on don't push, you'll get a room no one sleeps near the boiler unless they break something," Franky said the joy visible in his tone. Despite his sometimes irascible exterior, Franky does care about the welfare of the students, which is sometimes hard to get across when your big green muscle-bound stitched together create of flesh and magic.

As Xyanus walked into the arena she went for the front seat and promptly sat down half listening to the headmistress and half watching how many students there were. She didnt have much to comment on the headmistresses words other than that awful annoying laugh. As she disappeared Xyanus quickly stood up and walked toward where the general direction, noting one of the teachers looking like was stitched together. "I didn't know undead were allowed to be teachers." (yes i know he isn't actually a zombie :D) She muttered to herself, the last undead creatures she remembered laying her eyes upon were back in her world.

Michael Baros

Unlike his usual days, it wasn't about killing some creatures like he used to do, but studying for his gear license. It all started when Michael's mother challenged his son to prove that he was worthy for following his father's quest. Without an inch of hesitation, he accepted the challenge and made his way on one of the hardest school. For sure, it was an unexpected turn of event for Michael to even accepted this, but he had no others choice but to act like a civilized student.

Inside the train, Michael noticed that no one was sitting next to him. It wasn't because he smelled bad but certainly his scary look, poor him. After the voyage inside the train, it was the welcoming inside the arena that happened. Listening at the women seemingly unphased by her popularity, he was however interested by the mention of Rexus, one of the most known criminal out there.

After the end of the speech, he leaved the arena in the direction of the living quarters, following one of the teacher who was not human at all. This is what i usually shoot...
Smirking at this weird situation, he caught a student whispering about the teacher undead look, and couldn't help but smile at this remark.

Luka entered the arena and sat in a random seat. After hearing the headmaster's speach, he was impressed by the by her feats. "Now she is a woman with power." Luka mumbled to himself. Luka loved the fact that students had their own living quarters, "Less work for me" he told himself.

Luka followed the staff members an noticed that one seemed to be undead, "Well that's...actually not surprising at all
...".
Luka sighed, put both his hands behind his head and remembered what the headmaster said about making memories, "Hopefully making memories will help me forget about him...". Luka's facial expression became humorless, he was unhappy. Slapping both sides of his face he tried to think positive and made a determined face, "Forget him I just have to stay positive!" Luka then smiled and held both his hands together up to his chest.

Renae was filled with an almost childlike joy as she learned her headmaster was none other than Alyona Yura, the person who had taken on Moore and Enma. The thought of being under the education of such an accomplished justice-bringer filled her with pride. Still, she'd have to save her autograph attempts for later, as students began filing out of the Arena. As they made their way toward the living quarters, Ren spotted Luxe and Kale just a couple of meters up front. Figuring she should try out that whole talking to people thing she decided on earlier, Ren picked up her pace until she was astride the duo. She couldn't help but smile that, although they seemed to unconsciously avoid one another, they still ended up walking just within a few paces of eachother. "That was some orientation, huh?" She spoke up over the excited chit chat of the crowd. "I wonder how many students are going to test that 'fighting in the corridors' rule."

Vega and Nix sat in the arena, the large creature keeping people away form him as the principal of the school came up onto stage. "Alright Nix, that's our official enemy so long as we're here. The principal is the rule maker of any school and no matter how powerful she is, we gotta get under her skin. It's what we do best after all." Nix let out a quiet howl as if agreeing as everyone started to leave the arena. Vega and nix however, went into a shadowy corner and hid amongst the darkness, Nix's haze making it easier. When everyone was out of sight, they slipped on down to where the principal had been. "Aura manipulation huh? She's powerful I'll give her that." Vega smiled as he looked to NIx. "So, should we see if Duke wants to play? And maybe you two can meet?" A happy bark affirmed what Vega was about to try.

"Alright, here goes." Vega focused like he did on the train, this time the tattoo on his left arm was the one to move. Unlike Nix's mark though, this tattoo lashed and writhed as if it was a parasite trying to claw at anything on the outside. The tendrils only extended a few inches before they withdrew back into Vega's arm. "Shit. Still can't get it down yet." Vega sighed as he looked to Nix. "Maybe one of these gears will help out with that. For now though, we'd better catch up to the group." The pair turned around and slowly caught up to the group. The homunculus leading them wasn't as surprising for him as others, but then again, a lot of these kids hadn't been on their own in the wild for three months. "Man, so far...." Vega's words cut off as he caught sight of a woman with a pair of wings sticking out of her back and long flowing white hair. "Well hello gorgeous. Maybe Myra's won't be so bad after all." Vega chuckled as Nix seemed to roll her eyes at his outburst. "Come on Nix, the demon babe is hot! Can you blame me?" A low growl answered his question. "You know I'm not going to replace you Nix, besides, she's fully sapient and developed, I CAN'T bind her." The pair fell silent as they looked towards the dorms, would there be enough room for him, Nix and a potential roommate? That could become a problem.

Egala was thankful for Remmy being at her side for the time being. It made getting through the crowd that much easier. Linking her arm through his, she doubted many would believe they just met, but she at least felt easier around him. If anybody learned about her other side, Remmy's laid back nature leant Egala to believe she'd hope it'd be him. Sitting down and keeping herself protected from the sun, Egala watched Alyona give her speech. It wasn't as formal as Egala was expecting, but it did get the message across. "Well, at least we know we're in capable hands." Egala smiled as she rose from her seat and looked to Remmy. "Although we'll likely switch dorms due to gender, would you be so kind as to escort me to them?" Looking about at the others there, Egala was sure that this would be a very interesting start to her school life, if for nothing more than the social experience.

Franky started to leave a group of kids out of the arena and towards the living quarters. Putting his hand in his jacket pocket, James sighs remembering the rules against smoking. Looking for the students, he is surprised to see the number of non-humans. Not that he has a problem with that, that would be a pretty huge hypocrisy, but he imagined they may be more things to repair. Speaking of non-human, it seemed that some of the students had picked up on the fact that Franky wasn't human. How they picked up that a seven-foot green stitched together guy wasn't human will forever escape him. Still, James decides it might as well have a bit a of fun with it saying "Anyone got anything to say can say it unless you hurt me feelings, I'm just a sensitive little fella after all" as they walked. Besides his surprise at the identity of the school's headmaster, Kale was mostly uninterested in the announcements given in the arena. He stood and made his way back out, following the crowd towards the living quarters. As he walked off, he heard Renae speaking as she came up from his side. He adjusted his scarf, smiling from beneath it.

"That was quite the introduction, I agree. In terms of fighting breaking out, I don't believe many people would be crazy enough to incite the wrath of the headmaster, especially when knowing who she is... I never thought someone of such renown would be guiding us here, and not...well, be out there, doing heroic things across the land."

Kale shrugged, and played with his scarf more, looking at Ren. "I take it you're a fan?"

Kalin scooted closer towards the pair, protein bar still hanging from between his lips as he listened intently to their conversation.

"Huh. I never really thought of myself as a fan, but I suppose that'd be the word for it." Idly adjusting her shirt collar, Renae continued, "Still, I think you're right. Even some of the more... erratic students we've met so far wouldn't take risks like that... Would they?" She bristled at the thought of getting cornered in a fight herself, then getting punished for it. The idea didn't sit well.
"A-Anyway, I'm pretty psyched up to see our living quarters. If this is what the rest of the school looks like, I'm hoping they spared a little budget for our rooms."
Her eyes were laid anticipatedly on the path ahead.

"Who knows? Not everyone here is so with the best intentions, after all. You won't see me in a brawl, though. Takes up way too much energy. "

Kale noted Ren's slight reaction to her own comment but left her to her thoughts on the matter.

"I'm sure the rooms will be great, and quite up to your standards. For me, so long as the bed is comfortable and the air conditioning isn't broken, I'll be just fine." He said, walking along the path.

"I wonder if we're going to be getting uniforms anytime soon..."

Getting up from his front row seat and heading straight towards a staff member that reminded him of a big zombie he grinned mischeviously and hoped on his shoulder saying"So are you or are you not Frankenstien"he giggled among himself and hoped down into a group of kids he was escorting and scratched his head"Just kidding big fella no hard feelings anyway lead the way"he then saw this demonic looking girl and smiled and bowed "Well hello beautiful I believe he haven't met yet my name is Vincent and I hope we can have great memories together"he then raised his head revealing a smile almost ear to ear and then asked"Also if you don't mind me asking are you a demon of some sort"he raised a eyebrow and settled his smile to rest.

Vega hadn't really been paying attention to anything save for the demon girl until the word uniforms came up. "Woah." Hopping onto Nix the pair trotted over to the three. "Nobody told me anything about a uniform. I ain't wearin' one of those. Limits my abilities a lot more than you'd think."

Looking at his tattoos Vega knew several of the creatures just burst out of his body from them. Sure Nix wouldn't be a problem with a uniform, but Duke? And the.....thinking about the staahg or Volga sent shivers down Vega's spine. An itching sensation running through the tattoos on his back. "Nope. Not wearing it. Even if I have to get decked by out headmistresss, I'll do that before wearing a uniform." Vega may have been lost in thoughts, but Nix felt his frustration and her haze started flowing from her.

Merrick made his way towards the dorms, he already knew where they were and had already had his room set up. As he passed a throng of students lead Mr.Rogers He waved to the caretaker. He couldn't really say for sure that he and Rogers got along, but compared to the rest of the staff here at Myers, Merrick at least didn't hold a grudge against the man like he did with the rest of the faculty. It was then that Merrick heard the caretaker comment about his feeling being hurt. Again, a flash of gold and a wide grin later Merrick was ready with a reply. He waited for Mr.Rogers and his group to catch up, he felt like he had something good here and wanted to make sure he was going to get the maximum affect.

"I mean, it's not the fact that he's undead that's the problem. It's the fact that he looks like someone took a baseball, dyed it green and fed it anabolic steroids until it was seven feet tall."

I'm either going to get a laugh or another hospital visit... honestly I'm completely okay with either. Merrick thought as he grinned at the groundsman and his flock of students.

Xyanus was quite amused when a few of the students commented on her form, to think even the young-lings would compliment her! She entertained herself with the thought until she turned around to see a mortal child "why thank you, uh. whatever you are." she turned to the other one only to see or rather, sense a half-ling, "hmmm..." she wasnt sure whether to be disgusted at the half thing or take him on his compliment, to think a demonkind would fall in-love with a mortal! Well she supposed she would seduce a few mortals, and have her way with them but never to bare a dreaded half child! "I am not a demon, however you seem to have that blood in you." she said with cold expression. she supposed it was easy to mistake her for a demon, she came from the same plane and her wings didn't help their fragile senses either. Upon further analyzation of the child she guessed it would be fun to pick and pry him about it. "i wonder what kind of demon would fall in love with what kind of mortal." She said with a smile, her tone mostly indifferent. her attention reverted to the undead man at hand when more students seem to take her comment to light. "don't bully the undead man on his looks im sure the ritual was quite tedious and probably consumed many people just to make him." Her voice toward the undead teacher was quite condescending, why was she doing this? To make this year for him miserable? No, it was simply fun.

He grinned at the remark on his demon blood and thought"Well she may not be a demon but she sure is smart"he then grinded his teeth at the other remark on his half-ling blood but then smirked and laughed"To be honest I don't know either but you could ask my dad he has more answers than me.......if you can find him"he mumbled the last part with a angry expression on his face but then changed it to a wide grin and giggled at the demon-looking lady cold comment on Frankenstien's big cousin and walked up to him patting his back and saying loud enough for everybody in the group to hear"Awwww no hards feelings big guy we don't mean it ain't that you guys"he smiled nervously at the group hoping they wouldn't provoke him more.

Renae nodded as the tattooed guy commented on his stance toward uniforms. She wasn't exactly a fan of rigid, uncomfortable clothes, herself - although she wasn't quite as passionately against it as he was, either.
Ahead, it appeared a gathering of students began sticking around the staff member taking them to their dorms, having a competition of who could taunt him the most. Ren's teeth practically ground the air into dust as she gritted them, but she forced herself to loosen up. No fights. Besides, their guide looked plenty capable of handling himself. Redirecting her focus, she half-coughed in an attempt tot get the tattooed guy's attention. "I'm... Ren. I- um, didn't catch your name."

Krudish found the Vega boy a bit interesting. Why would they feel someone so young needed guarding by two full grown men? He did smell a bit off. However, the half orc didn't get a chance to dig into this any further as the boy excused himself. He sighed; it seemed like he managed to scare off another. Krudish spent rest of the train ride reading having given up on socializing for the time being. After the train arrived, he sat at the back of the arena to avoid blocking another students view. To his surprise, a green man possibly rivaling his own size was among the staff. A fellow orc? He was too far away to tell.

When Ms Yura took the stage, she quickly gained his attention. Krudish cared little for her speech; as long as there was a library, he didn't plan on leaving campus, and he wasn't one to participate in brawls. Nor did he carry around a weapon; he was dangerous enough a threat unarmed to the average civilian, and, due to previous experiences, he doubted he'd be making any friends, so he found Ms Yura more interesting than the speech itself. While he didn't know truth from rumor, he'd heard about some of her exploits. Having someone of that caliber as our headmaster is proof of how elite this school is. It made him proud. He thought it safe to assume his high academic scores got him here, and few orcs could boast similar achievements.

Once the speech was over, faculty began guiding students around campus. Krudish made his way toward the green man. It took him a moment, but students parted around the half orc, and he caught up to the man and his group. Upon closer inspection, he found the man was not an orc at all. Well, he might have pieces of orc in him. Rather than disappointing him, the half orc was hit with a new wave of excitement. He'd read of such creatures. Beings created from the various parts of the dead and brought to life. What was the term for such beings again? He rattled his brain. A light filled his eyes as the memory came back to him. Ah, yes. I remember now. He was about to ask if his deduction was correct when he heard the comments of the other students. Having received similar treatments, it soured his mood a bit. Krudish approached the man while adjusting his glasses. "I apologize for my peers, sir. Not all of them are...well cultured." It was the nicest way he could think of describing their irksome behavior on the spot. "Though, I suppose you're likely used to it by now. You're a homunculus, correct?" He'd never met one in person, so until now, he'd thought they were just a myth. The half orc extended his hand. From his understanding, it was the customary way to greet some one. "My name is Krudish Bloodyhill. It's a pleasure to make your acquaintance." He said in a friendly manner. This time he chose to abstain from a smile, so far he'd only managed to scare people with them.

Merrick sighed and shook his head. Everyone's a critic it seems...

"Oh come now, what's a little ribbing between a pair of man-made monstrosities?"

He he said looking at the orc, though really addressing everyone.

"I mean me and old knuckleball here aren't too different. Yeah, the craftsmanship they used to make him is a little...lacking, but Mr.Rogers and I are cut from the same flap of skin, he just happens to be better looking."

Now walking in step with the group of students Merrick continued voicing his strange and likely unpopular view on life and the world.

"...And you, dream demon." He wasn't entirely sure about the etiquette of just up and calling someone a succubus (even if that's what they were), but Merrick figured that dream demon sounded a little bit nicer.

"How did you so ingrain arrogance into your being that I can actually smell it on you? Is there a special perfume that you use? Can I borrow some, because I've always wanted to smell like a combination of money and brimstone."

It was rare for Merrick to so willfully speak to others without being spoken to, it was strange and once he realized he was doing it, he quickly lapsed into silence, and his facial expression immediately dropping to his normal blank, one-eyed stare. Merrick continued walking along with the cluster of his classmates, but he'd taken to pondering his own uncharacteristic behavior.

Michael Baros

He didn't knew what was happening anymore. The smells of people around him was too familiar as he felt surrounded with opponents. He wasn't told that this school was containing other species, and also demons to be exacted. As a precaution, Michael loaded one of his revolver. It wasn't he nicest idea about making friends, but oh well. Instead of pointing a revolver at them, He listened to their conversations who was at least interesting and scary at the same time. The first reply about the green dude was entertaining, but other were more considered as a bullying. But what was the most surprising scene was the orc, having the behavior of a well educated man. Remember what she said. Never judge someone so quickly, right ?...

He stared at a man who was apparently a punchliners, the kind of person you don't have to mess with. Even Michael admit it. He had deep respect for people like him who went trough a lot of shit, and won't disturbed him by mentioning his scars. After leaving the constant sight of this man, he approached the green dude with the orc and smirked. "I must agree with you Krudish. Their behavior is harshed but i'm sure they aren't so bad. I'm also assuming that no one here is fully human so that make a thing in common for each of us." He was staying positive. After all he was going to spend some time with those classmates.

James Victor 'Franky' Rogers-Caretaker
Location: Myer's Gear School - Arena heading towards student quarters
Time: Roughly around the morning time. 45 minutes after train departure
"Well I can't be Frankenstein, Frankenstein was the doctor who made him, not the the grey monster himself" James responded to the student who had just jumped on his shoulder. "Don't worry you're nicer than some I've had in past," he said thinking back to some students who refused to be in the same school as 'an abomination to man', some people just have a way with words. It was then a familiar face caught the homunculus's eye, a face with a what looks like a claw mark, eyes that pierce the very soul and an air of something otherworldly. That would be R. Merrick, Locke. Raising an eyebrow at his comment Franky sighed and said "Hello Merrick, glad to see the summer break didn't make you any less of a smart arse, you know one of these days I might show what this overgrown baseball can do you a bag full of bugs" with an over friendly ribbing. He did get along with Merrick despite his smart -arsed attitude. He seemed like the only staff member that did sometimes. As Xyanus made another comment which caused Franky to laugh a good-humored laughed before saying "Think she's trying to give you a run for your money Merrick" while glancing at women. He imagined ice cubes warmer than her.

The student who jumped on him before, Vincent, seemed to try and be nicer which Franky could understand. Big hulking green dudes aren't something you want to piss off. "Don't worry I was pissed off you'd know about it, besides batwing head seems to have an issue with everyone?" he said with same got nature voice, but with less ripping and more a just matter of fact. Then, out of the corner of his eye, he saw an orc. He had known a few in his time, got in rather well with them, they always had a lot in common. "Don't worry about, I'm no so weak hearted and yeah you're right and you're right, I am a homunculus," he said with a tone of surprise, not everyone knew what he was. "Pleasure to meet you Bloodyhill, you can see my name I guess but most people just call me Franky," he said pointing to his name tag. "Yeah don't worry about it Merrick but hey don't beat yourself up, we all can't look as good as me," he said, speaking with the same good nature humour, while also lookKurdish, letting him see how he was alright with the comments. "Eh we don't get a few humans, some years more than other, we seem to just attract those of a non-human bent," he said directing his gaze to Kurdish. "Shouldn't be long now so try and get in a queue make things easier" he yelled to the students around him as he made his way towards the dorms.
