Immediately Zelarous ran to his master's side with his katana already drawn. He stood slightly in forward of Velvet, to intercept anything that might occur. He awaited for the mages to answer his master's questions. 'What is going on?' he asked himself as he began to wonder if there was more to this servant thing than he thought. Perhaps this was the reason he was summoned, to fight Velvet's foes. Thoughts raced through his mind as he stared at the mages before them. He had to be cautious for now, he did not know what age it was. Perhaps the future he (may) have found himself in had different technology. If that was the case, he could find himself taken by surprise quite easily. He readied himself for what was to come.

Kota watched her go and return, noting the slight limp as a result of her larger injury. Feeling their connection reestablish he does not bring up the wound, no need in mentioning something she no doubt already knew of, and instead informs her that their food is done. A rustling in the bushes nearby makes him spring into a combat stance immediately, however. 'Master, something is here. Stay hidden for now.' His hand gripping the hilt of his blade, he called out, "Show yourselves."

At his word, two mages stepped out into the clearing hands raised in a show of non hostility, "That was our intention, I assure you. We mean you no harm." Similarly, two mages also presented themselves to the other groups in the same manner.

Kaiya sighed when Kota told her that dinner was done and go right back to tell her that she should stay hidden since there seemed to be some sort of threat outside. She got up from her bed and made her way towards the middle of the room, with her weapon just in case someone tried to break in. 'Kota, what's going on out there?' Her thought was clear and she knew that he could he it add clearly as she just thought it. She notched an arrow in her bow but didn't pull it since she was already in enough pain as it was.

'Not sure... two humans have approached and wish to speak.... they do not seem hostile, but I do not trust them.' After informing his master, Kota returns his attention to the mages. He was already on edge because they were human, so he kept his hand on his blade, "Then speak quickly or begone."

(I'm not going to write different responses to each char, so they are all going to say the same thing)

"We come on behalf of the Magic Association Council. There were several fairly large, simultaneous mana discharges recently so we were sent to investigate. Judging by your appearance, the otherworldly feeling your aura gives off, and zealous protection of a single individual, I can assume you are 'Servants'?" They kept their hands raised, since magic required ones hands to cast, so as not to alarm the groups further, "We know of this because it is not the first time this has happened. A summoning, that is. Our council head wishes to speak with you all and offer you something. We will not, and cannot, force you to come but we do plead that you be reasonable and hear him out."

Aquata was about to question Zelarous more, when she heard the shout of her master. Using the wate particles in the air, she vanished, teleporting instantly to her masters side. Strangers! In her masters room! She bent into an attack stance, ready to protect her master at a moments notice.

Zelarous ran in as well, katana at the ready. She didn't have a weapon, but her water was her best asset in moments like these.

Most people found her difficult to injure, as often they recognised her somehow. Nevertheless, she made an orb of water and began to heat it, ready to throw if necessary. At the same time, she lowered the heat of the water particles around them a bit, to shock them a bit.

Yukine blinked in surprise at Yarisa's strange appearance, but smiled genuinely at the thought that he himself must seem odd as well. He gave a simple nod before he/she pulled the curtain and took a moment to look about the room, unnerved by what he recognized as hospital equipment. A wave of relief washed over him as they left the oppressive building behind soon after. Obediently, he followed after his summoner, contemplating a rather confusing feeling of connection with this individual-something he only noticed after the initial shock of his "rebirth" faded a bit. The more conscious he became of this link between them, the more he began to realize the different flickers of emotion as they crossed his consciousness were not just his own anymore. Flashes of ambition, yearning, exhaustion, all shadowed by an overwhelming power of will; the very same that drew him to this place. His brow furrowed in concern as he uncovered something more, suppressed by that incredible strength of will. He could feel it,  the pain as if it were his own; his whole body ached from it. Unconsciously, he pulled back from the link established to protect himself-though he could still feel it, only dulled now. His head snapped up at the tone in Yarisa's voice, on edge and stronger than before. Yukine inspected the two figures from his/her side. Though they didn't seem threatening, he thought it best to be on guard.

They spoke, "We come on behalf of the Magic Association Council. There were several fairly large, simultaneous mana discharges recently so we were sent to investigate. Judging by your appearance, the otherworldly feeling your aura gives off, and zealous protection of a single individual, I can assume you are 'Servants'?" Yukine didn't speak, but silently watched their every movement, clearly suspicious. If I answer them truthfully, it could mean trouble for Yarisa. We're not ready for a fight if they're lying and want to force our hand. He looked sidelong at his summoner, awaiting either his reply or next move.

Yarisa heard the boy's thoughts, quite clearly as the connection they had formed started to solidify and tighten, almost like a piano wire linking the two, if Yarisa pressed towards Yukine's emotions he could sense them, and apparently the thoughts along with them. They felt a small spark of happiness upon hearing the thought, he was concerned for thier wellbeing, they were suspicious as well but for the time being put away their fan, giving a slight bow, "As you will mages, I cannot actually fight you as I am right now, and I fear if I deny we'll be attacked." They raise their head with a soft sigh, suspicious or not, perhaps best to do as they say, Yarisa was very new to all this magic after all. You will be safe as long as you stay by my side Yukine. They thought this, reflecting the feeling of being worried for him. They had just met but if thoughts were being transmitted that meant this connection went deeper than they could fight.

"As I said before, we are not looking for a fight." Was the response to the various few still in a combative stance. "Come with us, or refuse and we shall leave you be."

Kota listened to all of this and relayed the message to his master, 'Your orders master. I do not trust them, but I won't pretend im not biased.'

Ashara did her best to look proud and tall, despite being carried around, "Very well. We'll hear you out, but as soon as we hear something we don't like, we're leaving. Right, Lakyta?" Her attention turned to her servant, awaiting her decision.

Kaiya heard what the mages were saying and she slung her bow over her back before answering Kota when she stepped outside and stood next to him,her eyes were sure of what they needed to do since she had no clue and these people were willing to help. "We might as well go, see what they have to say and get information before we continue on with this." She said this outloud but as a whisper to Kota's ear so that he could only hear it and so that the mages weren't just thinking that Kota came up with the idea to go. 'But I refuse to go unarmed and they could probably help treat me better than what I have here, I can't prance around with a slash from a demon across my back for who knows how long with just bandages.'

She looked back towards the mages and brushed some of her hair back before nodding. "We will be coming but if this is a trap I will not hesitate to defend myself and I can defend myself very well." She stood as straight as she could but with her injury that didn't turn out as straight as she hoped. She held in her pain and looked confident but at this point Kota probably knew that she was in a lot of pain without her telling him, hopefully no one else there would see or sense it since there could be some people there like that.

Yukine hardly registered the mages response, preoccupied with this new development. His initial surprise was followed by a moment of fear, next by confusion and finally a guarded sort of curiosity. There was more to this contract than he had previously thought, if he and his summoner could communicate in this extraordinary way. Though he was unsure how he felt about this profound sort of conection he didn't shut Yarisa out, sensing his sincerity and mirrored concern. He didn't know why, but he believed it. There was never any doubt. His focus returned to the mages once more, taking in their words and mulling over the offer they had been presented with. Yukine nodded once in affirmation. He had to admit he wanted to know what this was all about.

Kota nodded, deferring to his master's will, before also speaking up, "I too shall defend myself and my master till my last breath should either of us come to harm." Once he'd said his peace and the mages started preparing a circle of some kind he spoke softly enough to where they could not hear, "Perhaps you should allow me to carry you once more. I hardly think you'd look intimidating if you collapsed the second a fight breaks out. Not that being carried is much better, but at least it could be passed off as being my preference." Basic first aid being the limit of his healing knowledge, he somewhat blamed himself for not noting the seriousness of the injury beforehand.

The other mages who were not answered still awaited a response.
