At her sudden recoil to Eren's obvious state of worry, he gritted his teeth. Anger was about to lace his tongue before the sound of shrill cries ripped his attention away from the boiling emotion. He stared wide eyed as the Armored-titan had begun shifting through the debris, looking for something. Annie


Everything around him faded into a blur of red, a ringing in his ears splitting the seems of his brain. Sounds around him faded. He got ready to run forward, only to have his breath knocked from his teeth as Mikasa grasped him in her arms. The steam from her maneuver gear hissed in Eren's ears, his body being flung over her shoulder.


They landed a few feet away from Hange.


Embarrassment rushed over the titan-shifters face, frustration then settling in afterwards as he pried himself from his sister's grasp. "Let go!" He yelled and was dropped on the ground, her dark eyes glaring at him.


"Why? So you can get yourself killed?!" She snapped back.


Green eyes glared daggers at Ackerman, his breathing heavy with anger. He stood quickly glancing at Hange, and adverting his gaze from the new recruits... Including Charlie.


"He's looking for Annie! If I can just have one chance, I can turn--"


"No!" Mikasa objected, her stoic expression shattered with rage. "You're still injured!" She continued.


"Hange!?" They pleaded in unison, as if the siblings' half conversation had made any sense.

The woman who seemed to be happy in most cases had a dark expression on her face as she looked at the quarreling siblings. Charlie looked at Hange, then at Eren and Mikasa, then back at hange. She stepped back a bit, trying to stay out of the current situation. Hange spoke up at a rather loud volume. "Both of you, quit it." She walked over to the two of them and looked at them darkly through her dusty glasses. She gave her attention to Mikasa. "You need to let Eren decide for himself for a change. Stop trying to take control of him." She looked at Eren. "And you, do what you think is best. I'm not stopping you." A cadet landed on the roof, immediately giving the bulky gear to Charlie, and she began to put it on when the cadet whizzed off to elsewhere. "Mikasa take Barron and go find other new recruits and get them away from here. I'm not looking for excuses, just do it. I'm needed somewhere else. The rest is up to you Eren." Hange nodded toward him and whizzed off as well.


Mikasa seemed irritated. As she and Mikasa began running to the opposite end of the building to take off, Charlie looked back at Eren. 'Some nerve that kid has...' she thought. She looked forward again and ran beside Mikasa, taking off and letting the gas push her into the air as she
