Safety Hammer
A walking piece of shit in a stupid looking jacket
Tallah applied new herbs to the new skin and wrapped it with a thin bandage. It would need to be changed in a few hous so there was no reason to wrap it for the long term. He leaned against Mac's stomach his hands placed as if he wanted to push him away. "I can't say that I don't feel anything for you, but I don't have the right to fool you into believing that my situation will ever change. How can you be sure that I am what you want? We've not known each other for even a day, yet you claim to have feelings for me that inspire dreams of an eternity. How do I know that this isn't just an infatuation born from curiosity or naivete, on both our parts?"
Garren accepted her compliment with grace. "What do you want? Even if it is just a quiet moment in the future in a time of turmoil, wish for it now. That's the wonderful thing about making wishes." He leaned in closer to Lyla. "You don't ever have to stop making them." He was close enough for his breath to disturb her hair. "And they don't ever have to stop coming true." He leaned in for the kiss.
"Dammit, Tallah, does it matter whether it is naivety or curiosity? I want to help you." Mac pleaded.
"I could care less if you feel the same way. But the fact that you saved my life basically fucked me over. And if there is anything I absolutely hate, it's someone not trying. So, either you are going to allow me to help you, or I can just do it by my self. Because unlike you, I actually know someone who can help!"
