Fantasy Immortal Avatars (Ancient Mythology Crossover)

"So be it, let the humans overrun you, look what they have done to this world, so be it."

Ra looks at poseidon straight in the eyes.

Pan

I stay silent. Ra's plan is tempting to follow, but Thoth's idea is more significant, at least now.

I glared at Ra before stepping away from him. I nodded at polite greeting towards Pan and Summanus. My thoughts are unsure about Thoth but he's against Ra, so that makes him an ally. 'For now, at least.'

"Now then, who's up for shwarma?" Thoth said. If this were happening in the old days, I would've scoffed at the idea of indulging in mediocre street food but now? My host's mind says that shwarmas are quite delicious. "Why not? Human bodies need food to keep functioning, yes? Let's go then!"

I walk over to Thoth, Pan, and Poseidon. "I'll get something else, you all can eat what you wish. I suggest we start moving now though." I advise. I look over at Pan, "Try keeping your passions in check. The mortals will not be difficult to deal with. Once they know of our return everything else will fall into place." I cross my arms and wait for Thoth to lead the way. "So, who wants lunch?"

We settled down in a nearby shawarma restaurant (with comic sans as the logo font, to my dismay), carefully munching on the refreshment to avoid getting any strange looks. Despite our ferocious hunger, being misrepresented as hobos is not the limelight us gods would prefer to be seen in. Regardless, the food was delicious, bursting with familiar flavors and new ones. The sauce wasn't messy, the bread not too soggy. Though I typically don't praise mortals, they surely know how to produce fulfilling meals.
"We need to find a place to rest in. I'd rather not go mad before we even begin our journey." I noted, wiping the sauce off of my lips with a napkin.

Pan

"I once cared for the humans. This is a hard decision for me, no matter what side I pick."

I face my back towards him, and walk away. We follow Thoth into a shwarma restaurant. We are gods. I glare at Thoth. We should be summoning food with the snap of a finger. That's the way it used to be. That's the way it will be once again.

I don't touch my food. I'm not even in the mood. After that lunch on the plane, I don't think I'm craving more food.

"A place to rest, you say? My host's company is staying at a hotel on the other side of town. It's a viable option."

My preferable option, so I can keep my cover with the college group.

(A quick admin comment:
Ganesh, you're too OP. You said your powers were telepathy and super strength, not the ability to randomly float around and talk to anyone you felt like. Also, you have a laser gun and an axe. As Agni, the main point is that I use one aspect of my Agneyastra to generate flames (the flame sword) and the other aspect to control them (the double sided spear). I'm not sure how your weapons relate to your power, and in conjunction with your OP abilities, it makes your character remarkably outside of the bounds. Please tone down Ganesh's abilities, and then continue RPing.

"We've reached our cruising altitude, prepare for a long flight," the pilot says over the speakers.
I smile. As the god of messages, this seems like quite the way to travel! I've been alive for all these years from the continued spread of Hinduism, but only through the eyes of my new host have I gotten a chance to view the new innovations of humankind.
That's when I begin to feel sleepy. I tap one of the strange buttons on the arm of my chair, and it tilts back. Perfect!
The world around me goes fuzzy...

Cold. Dark. What strange place have I wound up in?
I conjure up a ball of flames in my hand, to illuminate a stone wall. Ancient runes are engraved into its surface, and a multi-headed god is depicted-me?
I advance, to see a massive room. My tiny hand-light can't penetrate the darkness. I focus, and the flames grow, until I'm holding an orb the size of an exercise ball. Some sort of a temple room... I still can't see much.
Yet there's a handprint on the opposing wall. An empty handprint.
Is it...

I begin to step forward. I'll touch it, become something else, something...

"Aagh!" I jerk awake, still in my seat. Nobody's noticed my outburst, thankfully, but that was close. I've had this dream before...
I use the screen on the back of the chair in front of me. It looks like we're beginning to cross over Colorado.
These humans have invented quite the speedy travel system!

(I have to agree with Amoradon on this one. Your abilities are inconsistent and you are also somehow in the heavens? We're supposed to be gods, yes, but at least keep it semi-realistic. Also, you're supposed to be the level of a rookie magician at this point in the story, so don't soar above the sky, stalking people like a surveillance drone.
Also, Doggo, kindly refrain from using one-liners.)

(I had my mind too focused on the concept of a Hindu god as opposed to applying the character to the host, greatest apologies)

Location: New Delhi apartment
Headed to: Find out where the other gods are

After a long day carting around cargo on the company moving van throughout northern India, I naturally decide to relax in the comfort of my own home. Its a nice modest place with two bedrooms and a single (thankfully rennovated) bathroom, I specifically remember the living room portion because someone used to kept a small idol of me for good luck oh those were the days. Anyways, I was sitting at my holo-rig as I had been modding it with the power of soul searching for quite some time now.

The reason is simply to find more gods, I mean if I run across Agra's host every now & then then there surely has to be some other gods with hosts somewhere? I had on a virtual map that I've modded to have an extra search bar, First I tried fellow Hindu gods to no avail, but then I had thought up of Other Pantheons and started typing in the Names of the Greek, Roman and a couple of Egyptian gods. To my astonishment they are each convening in Giza and from what I have read Greek Gods in Giza never turn out well.

I wanted to do something, but unfortunately I don't have access to my avatars or my trusty celestial mouse like I used to. I looked over to my homemade laser gun as well as my Axe wondering if I am even capable of getting there in time for my host's next shift to start tomorrow morning. I had sat there, considering many courses of action to go about this situation or if a course of action even needs to be taken at all.

(Thanks for taking it like a champ, Tonstad :3
And yeah, Doggo, if you could avoid one-liners, that would be preferred. We want the RP to be fluid, but not have 50 pages of "Hey Bob?" "Oh hi Sam." "How are you today?" Throw in an action, like:
I frown, thinking. A hotel... Sounds like a good place to stay. Besides, we can't be sleeping on the streets at night.
"We do need to stay, and stay undercover."
Anyhue...)

"We're now crossing into Kansas," the pilot announces.
Kansas? And what is this continent? I've got a great deal to learn. I pull up a map and begin zooming around, examining the various locations. India's rather far away, but it's still there. It appears I'm above the continent called North America... How strange. My host's knowledge tells me that Kansas and Colorado are both states, belonging to the country known as America. Fifty states in the country, flag is red, white, and blue... I must immerse myself in the form of my host more fully and understand this place.

(When you guys go to sleep, I imagine we'll timeskip to the next day. I'll probably land in Cairo around then.)

(You don't have to wait. If you want, you can time-skip and pretend that Agni arrived in Cairo at about the same time Thoth took on his host, which was probably about 1-2 hours ago in-RP.)

"Fair enough." I delicately wiped the crumbs and residue sauce off of my lips and neatly folded up my napkin, tossing it into a nearby dumpster.
I got up, stretching and yawning, before beckoning the crew.
"Finish up and we'll be on our way. We still have to book our hotel rooms."

(Nah, best keep it in a normal time frame. In the words of Leslie Jones...
"I. Keeps. It. REAL!"
Besides, it'll be fun to play around with Addie/Agni a bit :) )

A woman in a uniform approaches me. "Would you like something to eat?"
A memory stirs. In-flight attendants... These people serve us food?
I nod. "Whaddya got?"
After some deliberation, I get a tray of chicken, with seasonings I can't recognize rubbed over it. There's also a mound of a strange white material, and some packets. I open one of the packets to find a white dust. What is this supposed to be?
Salt, my host's mind whispers. I abandon it for when I'm done with the rest of the food. The chicken's tasty, but I'm not sure what to do with the white blob. I poke it with my fork, and eat some of it, to find that it's creamy and starchy.
Potatoes.
I try putting some of the salt on it, to find that it becomes much more delicious. These humans sure do know what they're doing!

I leaned my head on my arm in boredom. The food was good, don't get me wrong, but not much is happening at the moment. Yes, I chose to go along with this idea as opposed to joining Ra's force but still... Alas, Thoth insists that we lay low for now. We're supposed to be staying in a... "hotel" for a while. I frowned slightly. I'd planned to return to my ship after visiting Giza but it seems that would have to wait for now. Unfortunately.

Thoth gestured for us to leave. I rose lazily and yawned, hoping to return to my wooden masterpiece of a ship.

"Where's the place, Pan?" I asked, glancing around as I examined nearby structures and buildings with an immense curiosity. While the architecture of Giza has remained somewhat identical, it has had technological advancements past what would've been once my inane comprehension.
Humanity has evolved, and it's about time that we had caught up and slipped back into our roles as the higher power - afflicting the mortal lives without their minuscule minds catching up to our life-saving deeds.

After much deliberation, I aimed to go to Cairo to break up the fight so I walked out of my apartment with my axe and Gun in hand. I put them in The backseat of my car before I scoot in on the front seat. I have modded the engine for it to go upwards of 600 km/h, but I started by getting the vehicle above the skyline and above traffic and simply blasting off toward Egypt. I have also modified the car's GUI to synchronize to what little psychic power I had left. I thought of the coordinates of the brawl and the car simply drove accordingly, I normally do this when I drive and I don't even touch the pedals or steering wheel, but I still look out the windshield as with my mortal host it's the only way for me to properly channel my psychic power to the drive tran and the inbuilt (albeit primitive) ai.

While the others ate their rather bad looking meals, I sat silently eating some dates, olives, and cashews I bought on our way here.. I couldn't understand how these other gods simply dismissed their hosts. Their was no unity, no co-operation. I on the other hand took a smarter route and instead became one with my host. When this is all over I will come out the strongest. Why consume my host and look for information of this world through his mind, when he can just give it to me?

I stand up with the others as Thoth mentions a hotel. I continue eating my snacks while I wait for the god of "wisdom" to lead the way. This is a group of fools as far as I can tell and they are going to get me and everyone else killed. I just hope the others to come are more tactful and aware.

Pan

"It's on the other side of town..." My words drift off of my mouth.

Skeptical. I'm a bit skeptical about this whole idea. We should be focusing on breaking free from these wretched mortal bodies. I did prioritize Thoth's plan, but who says I cannot have second thoughts?

Ra wants to rule over the humans. We'd have our power back. I wouldn't be trapped in this host. It's a plan I'm starting to consider more.

I witnessed towns and traffic zoom beneath me for at this rate, i might be able to get there in a matter of only four hours. I was in awe that humans could make something like this, of course me and my host had to modify the reacter and the Geomagnetics of the drive tran. Anyways, the Car's GPS was driving me directly to the destination that I need to go to.

"Lead the way." I reluctantly gestured, picking up my travel bag and hurrying after Pan with the rest of the group close behind.
Noting the sudden discomfort caused by the heat, I kneeled down, unpacking the luggage and revealing a thin, brown cowl which I gently rested upon my fluffy, blond hair.
"I'm assuming we require currency to reserve hotel rooms for the rest of us, yes?" I guessed, eyes on the sandy stone pathway ahead, my headwear tugging down and over the sides of my irises, preventing me from observing my comrades, even from the corners of my eye.

At this rate, I worried that i'd be late to the brawl if not completely miss it! Oh, at least i will meet the other gods for the first time as I only knew the chinese and shinto gods, never the greek or roman. It was an interesting instance for sure and I should also be greatful that the humans have made it so I can go to Egypt in my car, With some modification of course.

Pan

I take my place in the front of the group, and start to lead them across town.

"Ehm, we probably do need their currency. They use the Egyptian pound here. Alternatively, we could disguise ourselves as college students, like this cramped host. Anybody else have currency?"

"No one says currency in casual situations. They refer to it as money. I will be paying for anything no one here can afford." I speak up to everyone while we walk. "I think our first concern should be figuring out how many other gods their are that are coming here. We need a way to get their attention so they aren't left stranded. So to speak."

"I'm sure people these days don't speak as formal as they used to." I piped from the back of the group. "Humans these days use all sorts of stupid words to communicate. It's best if we follow along... for now, at least." My host's former mind seemed to be feeding me information as we go along. In my mind, I saw visions of my host using 'phones' and 'computers' as a way to get information as well as... less savory things. Ooohh... It seems my host curses quite often in his former life. Humans are quite creative with how they want to express their anger and hatred.

I dug my hands into my pockets and found nothing. I decided to look around my host's memories and found a rather interesting detail. "My ship seems to have all sorts of curre-- I mean, money, on board. It seems my host used to be a trader and has supplies that could prove useful to us." I announced to the group. "What do you say... err... dudes?" I grimaced at my attempt at modern day lingo.
